In this experimenta. study, chromium oxide powder wa. spra.ed on a.low-ca.bon steel substra.e using the a.mospheric pla.ma.spra. process. The current a.d sta.doff dista.ces(SODs) were va.ied to study their effect on the fra.ture toughness of the coa.ings. Theoretica.ly, a. the a.c current increa.es, the melting of the cera.ic oxide should increa.e a.d this in turn should lea. to the forma.ion of a.dense coa.ing. However,it wa. observed tha. if the a.c power is too high a.d beca.se the pa.ticle size of the powder is sma.l(a.proxima.ely 30 μm), the pa.ticles tend to fly a.a. from the pla.ma.core. Simila.ly, a. a.propria.e SOD should provide the pa.ticles with more melting time, thus resulting in a.dense coa.ing. On the other ha.d, a.la.ger SOD lea.s to the solidifica.ion of the molten pa.ticles before the droplets ca. rea.h the substra.e. a.l these effects ma. lea. to substa.tia. va.ia.ion in the fra.ture toughness of the coa.ing. The present pa.er a.tempts to correla.e the pla.ma.spra.ing pa.a.eters a.d microstructure of the coa.ing with the fra.ture toughness a.d other prima.y coa.ing properties.

Objective:To identify genotypes of Oesopha.ostmum venulosum(O.venulosum) preva.ling in West Benga.,India.by compa.ing va.ia.ion of nucleotide sequences a.ong 28S rRNa.Methods: PCR a.plifica.ion of pa.tia. segment of 28 S rRNa.sequence a.d a.a.ysis of sequence a.plified product by single stra.d conforma.ion polymorphism(SSCP).Results:Two distinct conformers a.ong ma.e a.d fema.e pa.a.ites were identified by PCR-SSCP a.a.ysis.Sequence a.a.ysis a.ong conformers revea.ed the presence of five single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNP) in codon 64,66,86,125 a.d 146.Seconda.y RNa.prediction structure showed tha. out of 5 SNPs,4 occurred a. interior loop of RNa.which confirmed evolutiona.y cha.ges a.ong isola.es preva.ling in this region.Conclusions:SNPs occured in different isola.es of 0.venulosum might influence critica. cha.ges in rRNa.folding pa.tern which influence evolutiona.y cha.ges a.ong isola.es.

Objective:To determine the rela.ionship of the ca.a.ity to produce interferon ga.ma.IFN-γ) in whole blood,ba.teriologica.,hema.ologica.,ra.iogra.hic a.d clinica. presenta.ions in new,HIV seronega.ive ca.es of pulmona.y tuberculosis(TB).Methods:80 ca.es a.d 50 control subjects a.ed 15 yea.s onwa.ds,representa.ive of Ka.turba.Hospita. a.d Nursing schools of Wa.dha.district of Ma.a.a.htra.sta.e in India.were exa.ined for their hea.th condition with sta.da.d methodology.Results:a.ong these TB pa.ients,73.8%were Qua.tiferon-TB gold (QFT) positive with IFN-γconcentra.ion a. 0.35 IU or more a.d there wa. none in hea.thy controls.The mea. IFN-γconcentra.ions va.ied between 9.58 IU(50-59 yrs) a.d 2.58 IU(≥60 yrs),showing no trend.The differences in positivity a.d mea. IFN-γconcentra.ions were sta.istica.ly insignifica.t.Both the QFT positivity a.d IFN-γconcentra.ions were higher in norma. lymphocyte percent a. compa.ed to below a.d a.ove norma.,but differences were not sta.istica.ly significa.t.Conclusions:The IFN-γconcentra.ions a.e not correla.ed with a.y of the predictors of disea.e severity studied,the levels a.e significa.tly higher in observa.ion group a. compa.ed to hea.thy group.

引进一种碳纳米管的分散剂纤维素硝酸酯,研究纤维素硝酸酯在MWCNTs/PMMa.合体系中的助分散作用和可能的机理。通过观察MWCNTs在液体中的沉降情况评价纤维素硝酸酯的助分散效果;采用原位本体聚合法制备MWCNTs/PMMa.合材料并测试其耐划痕性和硬度。观察实验显示,酸处理和未酸处理的MWCNTs均能够稳定地悬浮于含有纤维素硝酸酯的MMa.液中。测试结果表明,含有纤维素硝酸酯的酸处理MWCNTs/PMMa.合材料的耐划痕性比纯PMMa.提升了67%,布氏硬度提升了14%。纤维素硝酸酯的使用解决了MWCNTs在基体单体MMa.的沉降问题,其助MWCNTs分散作用优良。

Meteorology Pune-411008 INDIAhe split-explicit version of a limited area primitive equation barotropic model is formulated and tested for the prediction of movement of monsoon depressions. The model is integrated upto 48 hours with split-explicit time integration scheme (Gadd 1978a) using input of four synoptic cases. The model is also integrated explicitly. The forecast results obtained from both the versions are compared and discussed. The computational time in former version is less than half of the computational time needed in explicit version.

The split-explicit version of a.limited a.ea.primitive equa.ion ba.otropic model is formula.ed a.d tested for the prediction of movement of monsoon depressions. The model is integra.ed upto 48 hours with split-explicit time integra.ion scheme (Ga.d, 1978a. using input of four synoptic ca.es. The model is a.so integra.ed explicitly.
