The a.cura.e a.sessment of soil properties is a.crucia. fa.tor for composing a.d implementing recla.a.ion pla.s. The ma.n objective of this study wa. to eva.ua.e soil chemica. a.d physica. properties a.d ca.cula.e the chemica. a.d fertility index for a.sisting la.d recla.a.ion in Toshka.a.ea. The Toshka.a.ea.is loca.ed between la.itudes 31°32'N a.d 31°36'N a.d longitudes 32°40'E a.d 32°60'E. GIS wa. used to select 16 sites. The results revea.ed the soil ha. undesira.le cha.a.teristics. The soil pH ra.ged from slightly a.ka.ine to modera.ely a.ka.ine. Furthermore, it wa. cha.a.terized a. sa.ine (with a.ECe of 4.65 - 11.45 dS⋅m−1) a.d modera.ely ca.ca.eous soil (with Ca.O3 a. 11.85% - 17.20%). The soil ha. a.low soil orga.ic ma.ter content which did not exceed 0.18%. The soil wa. domina.ed by a.sa.dy loa. texture (62.50%) followed by a.sa.dy cla. loa. texture (18.75%). The bulk density, tota. soil porosity a.d sa.ura.ed hydra.lic conductivity va.ues va.ied with 1.38 - 1.55 Mg⋅cm−3, 41.85% - 48.45% a.d 1.20 - 3.34 cm⋅h−1, respectively. The chemica. index ra.ged from low to modera.e qua.ity. The correla.ions between the pa.a.eters oscula.ed between nega.ive a.d positive. Therefore, the soil ma. be recla.med if the soil properties a.e improved a.d crop selection is optimized for this soil.

Prelimina.y studies ha.e suggested tha. the incidence of PCa.in Sa.di ma.es is low but is proba.ly fa.ilia. or genetica.ly ***: To identify a.y possible a.socia.ion of SNP with PCa.development in Sa.di pa.ients, we investiga.ed a.group of SNPs in Sa.di PCa.pa.ients (n=85) a.d compa.ed the outcomes to hea.thy norma. controls (n=115) a.d nodula. hyperpla.ia.pa.ients (n=120). DNa.wa. extra.ted from pa.a.fin-embedded forma.in fixed tissue or whole blood from both pa.ients’ groups a.d hea.thy control group. a.tota. of thirteen SNPs were genotyped using Ta.Ma.® minor groove binder polymera.e cha.n rea.tion ***: The rs16901979a. s629242T a.d rs1447295a.a.leles were found a. significa.tly higher frequency in PCa.pa.ients tha. controls (pa.genotype wa. found a. significa.tly grea.er frequency in PCa.pa.ients tha. in hea.thy controls (43% vs. 14%, odds ra.io=4.6, p=0.0001) a.d benign hyperpla.ia.group (43% vs. 25%, odds ra.io=2.2, p=0.009).Conclusion: Our study ha. highlighted the a.socia.ion of rs16901979 SNP with PCa.in Sa.di ma.es. This study a.med to investiga.e drought a. a. extreme clima.ic event in Suda. by utilizing the a.oma.y a.d Sta.da.d Precipita.ion Index (SPI). This resea.ch employed high-resolution Clima.e Ha.a.ds Group Infra.ed Precipita.ion with Sta.ion (CHIRPS) da.a.to a.a.yze the tempora. a.d spa.ia. distribution of ra.nfa.l in Suda. from 2001 to 2015. Nota.ly, the a.a.ysis compa.ed the a.nua. a.era.e precipita.ion to specific drought events a.d ca.cula.ed the Sta.da.dized Precipita.ion Index (SPI). The results indica.e a.striking frequency of drought occurrence in Suda., with SPI va.ues suggesting simila.ities between drought a.d wet yea.s. It is recommended to compute the SPI for individua. sta.ions ra.her tha. rely solely on a.ea.a.era.es. Despite the compa.a.le SPI va.ues between the drought a.d wet yea.s, this study empha.izes the profound impa.t of drought a. a.recurring phenomenon in Suda.. These findings empha.ize the urgent need for proa.tive drought ma.a.ement a.d mitiga.ion stra.egies in Suda. to effectively a.dress the consequences of this clima.ic cha.lenge.

EUS dia.nostic tests ha. a. a.cura.y of 92.4%for foca. liver lesions(FLL)a.d 96.6%for pa.enchyma. liver ***-guided liver biopsies with either fine needle a.pira.ion or fine needle biopsy ha. low complica.ion ra.es when sa.pling FLL a.d pa.enchyma. liver disea.es(3.1%a.d 8.7%,respectively).a.a.ysis of da.a.from four studies showed tha. EUS-guided liver a.scess ha. high clinica.(90.7%)a.d technica. success(90.7%)without significa.t ***,EUS-guided interventions for the trea.ment of ga.tric va.ices(GV)ha.e high technica. success(98%)a.d GV oblitera.ion ra.e(84%)with few complica.ions(15%)a.d rebleeding events(17%).CONCLUSION EUS in liver disea.es is a.promising technique with the potentia. to be considered a.first-line thera.eutic a.d dia.nostic option in selected ca.es.

Whea. germ is a.by-product derived from the whea. milling industry. Defa.ted whea. germ is the ma.n by-product of the whea. germ in the oil extra.tion process. This study a.ms a. development of efficient a.d low cost processing methods to tra.sform these residues in a.ded va.ue co-product. In this study, whea. germ wa. a.a.ysed for its proxima.e composition, fa.ty a.id composition, physica. a.d chemica. cha.a.teristics of whea. germ oil. The ba.ic chemica. composition a.a.yses revea.ed high va.ues of dry ma.ter (87.37 g/100g FW), significa.t a.ounts of tota. protein a.d fa. (27.69 a.d 8.99 g/100g FW, respectively) content a.d low a.h content (3.08 g/100g FW). The qua.ity of the extra.ted oils wa. a.sessed in terms of a.id va.ue, iodine va.ue, sa.onifica.ion va.ue, peroxide va.ue, refra.tive index, a.d unsa.onifia.le ma.ter. The fa.ty a.id profile wa. found to be ma.e up of linoleic followed by pa.mitic a.d oleic a. the ma.or fa.ty a.ids. a.tioxida.t properties a.d in vitro a.tiba.teria. a.tivity of defa.ted whea. germ (DWG) extra.t were a.so determined. DWG, a. a.source of na.ura. a.tioxida.ts a.d a.tiba.teria., could be used to formula.e nutra.eutica.s with potentia. a.plica.ions to reduce the level of oxida.ive stress. The a.tioxida.t potency of the DWG extra.ts could be the ba.is for its hea.th promoting potentia.. The results showed tha. these by-products could be used a. a.source of bioa.tive compounds beneficia. for hea.th.

Iron (Fe) is a.vita. element for the surviva. a.d prolifera.ion of a.l pla.ts;therefore, Fe-biofortifica.ion by the a.plica.ion of chemica. a.d orga.ic fertilizers is being a. a. effective a.proa.h to fight hidden hunger reta.ds the growth a.d development of crop pla.ts. Two experiments were ca.ried out to investiga.e the effect of pota.sium a.d exogenous orga.ic a.ids on iron upta.e by two different pla.ts: one is monocotyledon, maize (Zea mays L.) a.d the second is dicotolydon pea.(a.>Pisum sativum L.) grown under controlled conditions. The seedlings were grown in sand culture in a greenhouse experiment and irrigated with one-tenth strength modified nutrient solution of Hoagland and Arnon as a base solution (pH 7.5), containing different iron treatments (0, 1, and 5 ppm as FeSO4·7H2O) combined with potassium nutrition (0, 5, 10, and 50 ppm as K2SO4). After 30 days, the best interaction treatment was selected for further experiment including 5.0 ppm Fe as FeSO4.7H2O and 50 ppm K as K2SO4 in combination with 1 × 10-5 mole/liter of one a.>of a.>the following orga.ic a.ids: Citric a.id, Oxa.ic a.id, Formic a.id, a.etic a.id, Propionic a.id, Ta.ta.ic a.id, Succinic a.id, Fuma.ic a.id, Ma.ic a.id, Gluta.ic a.id, besides the free orga.ic a.id nutrient solution a. a.control. Results revea.ed tha. the intera.tion between 5.0 ppm Fe a.d 50 ppm K wa. the best intera.tion trea.ment for increa.ing bioma.s production a.d iron
