The well recognized model potential is used to investigate the phonon properties for five glassy Copper alloys ***_(57)Zr_(43),Cu_(60)W_(40),Cu_(33)Y_(67),Cu_(43)Ti_(57) and Cu_(66)Ti_(34).The thermodynamic and elastic properties are also computed from the elastic limits of the phonon dispersion curves(PDC).Three theoretical approaches given by Hubbard-Beeby(HB),Takeno-Goda(TG)and Bhatia-Singh(BS)are used in the present study to compute the *** local field correction functions proposed by Hartree(H),Taylor(T),Ichimaru-Utsumi(IU),farid et al.(F)and Sarkar et al.(S)are employed to see the effect of exchange and correlation in the aforesaid properties.

The well recognized model potential is used to investigate the vibrational properties of four Fe-based binary glassy alloys ***_(90)Zr_(10),Fe_(80)B_(20),Fe_(83)B_(17) and Fe_(80)P_(20).The thermodynamic and elastic properties are also computed from the elastic limits of the phonon dispersion curves(PDC).Three theoretical approaches given by Hubbard-Beeby(HB),Takeno-Goda(TG)and Bhatia-Singh(BS)are used in the present study to compute the *** local field correction functions proposed by Hartree(H),Taylor(T),Ichimaru-Utsumi(IU),farid et al.(F)and Sarkar et al.(S)and Sarkar et al.’s local field factor(SLFF)based excgange and correlation function are employed to see the effect of exchange and correlation in the aforesaid properties.

The aim of this research was to assess the influence of saline irrigation water which prepared to obtain salt stress of 0.31,3.21,5.74,8.28 and 12.86 dS/m on seed germination,and early seedling growth of 10 cultivars(Giza 123,124,125,126,127,129,130,134,135 and 2000)of Egyptian barley grown in clay loam *** was tested in germination cups filled with clay loam soil moistened with different concentrations of saline water,in the growth chambers *** indicated that,the highest values of germinated seeds were recorded mainly at fresh water(0.31 dS/m)at all germination ***,the maximum values were recorded at investigated barley cultivars Giza 126,127 and 2000 for three studied periods(3,5 and 7 d),while Giza 129,130 and 135 got the same trend where the highest values for germinated seeds attained at the 5 d,7 d and at 3 d were 9.5 seeds,*** cultivar Giza 126 had significantly higher root length(4.07 cm),shoot length(11.75 cm),root fresh weight(48.2 mg),shoot fresh weight(101.1 mg),root dry weight(7.1 mg),shoot dry weight(6.6 mg)and seedling vigor index(13.44).The 6 kDa protein bands had the same increasing after salt stress in cultivars Giza 123,127,129,134 and *** cultivars in clay soil can be classified into barley cultivars Giza 126,127 and 2000 as highly tolerance and barley cultivar Giza 129,123 and 127 as moderately tolerance and the rest is less.

The mismatch between the photovoltaic(PV)cells absorption and the solar irradiance on earth is one of the major limitations towards more efficient PV energy *** aspect was addressed by downshifting the solar irradiance on Earth through luminescent down-shifting layers based on lanthanidedoped surface-functionalized ionosilicas(ISs)embedded in poly(methyl methacrylate)(PmmA)coated on the surface of commercial Si-based PV *** IS-PmmA hybrid materials exhibit efficient solar radiation harvesting(spectral overlap of^9.5×10^19 photons/(s·m2))and conversion(quantum yield^52%).The direct solar radiation and the down-shifted radiation are partially guided and lost through total internal reflection to the layer edges being unavailable for PV conversion of the coated PV *** tuning the down-shifting layer thickness,it also acts as luminescent solar concentrator enabling the collection of the guided radiation by flexible PV cells applied on the borders of the down-shifting layer leading to an enhancement of the PV energy conversion from^5%(in the case of the single-use of the luminescent down-shifting layer)to^13%comparing with the bare PV *** overall electrical output of the device resulted in an absolute external quantum efficiency increase of^32%for the optimized Eu^3+-based films in the UV spectral region(compared with the bare PV device,which is among the best values reported so far).

Objective: To characterize the bacteriocin-like inhibitory-substances(BLIS) activity of Streptococcus macedonicus mBF10-2 [named BLIS(mBF10-2)], a bacteriocinogenic strain isolated from an Indonesian tofu ***: BLIS(mBF10-2) was obtained by culturing the bacterium, and standard deferred antagonism assays were used to demonstrate its activity. The antibacterial testing of fractions collected by filtration using 3–30 kDa cut-off membrane sizes were carried out by performing well diffusion ***: The growth of micrococcus luteus, Streptococcus pyogenes, Lactococcus lactis,Leuconostoc mesenteroides and Weissella confusa were inhibited by BLIS(mBF10-2).Interestingly, BLIS-containing fractions obtained from sequential application on ultrafiltration membranes indicated that this bacterium Streptococcus macedonicus mBF10-2 could produces at least two antimicrobial peptides activities, one of which is likely to be a lantibiotic peptide. Potential synergistic activity against certain Gram-positive(but not Gram-negative) species when partnered with antibiotics(ampicillin, tetracycline or kanamycin) were ***: Combination of some BLIS(mBF10-2) active fractions with antibiotics(ampicillin, tetracycline or kanamycin) could demonstrate synergistic activities against certain Gram-positive species.

为了预防老石旦矿16401工作面采空区遗煤自然发火现象,利用预先埋设在工作面巷道中的光纤传感系统对空气流动规律、氧气浓度分布以及采空区温度分布进行实时在线检测。根据预先设定的FLUENT软件数学模型构建速度场云图、O2浓度场云图以及温度场云图,并经过建立模型验证计算值与实测值的一致性,判定16401工作面采空区"三带"准确范围:距离推进工作面0~54m范围为散热带,54~88m为氧化自燃带,超过88m进入到窒息带,所测得数据为老石旦煤矿16401工作面采空区防灭火措施的可行性提供了坚实的理论基础依据。

AIm: To investigate low intensity laser irradiation phototherapy(LILIP) on the proliferation, mineralization and degradation of dental pulp ***: Stem cells from human exfoliated deciduous teeth(SHED) were grown to confluence and seeded on collagen scaffolds to create dental pulp constructs. LILIP was delivered to the dental pulp constructs using an 830 nm GaA IAs laser at an output power of 20 m W. The LILIP energy density was 0.4, 0.8, 1.2, and 2.4 J/cm2. After 8 d, the cell proliferation and degradation within the dental pulp constructs were measured using histologic criteria. After 28 d, the effect of LILIP on SHED mineralization was assessed by von kossa ***: SHED proliferation within the dental pulp constructs varied after exposure to the 0.4, 0.8, 1.2,and 2.4 J/cm2 LILIP energy densities(P maximum proliferation of SHED in nutrient deficient media was 218% after exposure to a 1.2 J/cm2 LILIP energy density. SHED grown in nutrient deficient media after exposure to a 0.4, 0.8, and 1.2 J/cm2 LILIP energy density, proliferated by 167-218% compared to the untreated(non-LILIP) control group(P m2 LILIP energy density, and grown in optimal nutritional conditions and proliferated by 147%-164% compared to the untreated(non-LILIP) control group(P m2) caused a reduction of the cell proliferation of up to 73% of the untreated(non-LILIP) control(P mount of mineral produced by SHED increased over time up to 28 d(P m2 LILIP energy densities were the most effective at stimulating the increased the mineralization of the SHED from 150%-700% compared to untreated(nonLILIP) control over 28 d(P mal nutritional conditions exposed to a 0.8 J/cm2 or 1.2 J/cm2 LILIP e
