Using an F2.opulation derived from the hybrid of Lycopersicon esculentum Mill. ‘XF 98-7’× Lycopersicon pimpinellifolium LA2.84, a SSR genetic linkage map of tomato is constructed. The map contains 112.markers and spans 808.4 cM with an average distance of 7.2. cM between loci. Two quantitative trait loci （QTLs） for first flower node on chromosomes 5 and 11, two QTLs for number of flowers per truss on chromosomes 2.and 5, and five QTLs for fruit weight on chromosomes 1, 2. 3, 9 and 12.are identified.

We show that the quantum-mechanical fundamental representations, say, the coordinate representation, the coherent state representation, the Fan-Klauder entangled state representation can be recast into s-ordering operator expansion, which is elegant in form and has many applications in deriving new operator identities. This demonstrates that Dirac's symbolic method can be merged into Newton-Leibniz integration theory in a broad way.

The effects of the substrate-water interaction on the wetting behavior in water-oil and surfactant-water-oil systems confined by one substrate which has the preferential interaction to one species of particles have been investigated by using the free energy analysis and discontinuous molecular dynamic simulations. As the preferential interaction between the substrate and water particles varies from small repulsion to large attraction, the partial drying, partial wetting and complete wetting state are observed in sequence. In addition, the wetting behavior of surfactant aqueous solution on the substrate is not only dependent on the interaction, but also limited by the maximum equilibrium concentration of surfactants at the interface.

Temporal mode direct numerical simulation (DNS) has been done for a supersonic turbulent boundary layer on a flat plate with Mach number 4.5. It was found that the mean flow profile, the normal-wise distribution of turbulent Mach number and the root mean square (RMS) of the fluctuations of various variables, as well as the Reynolds stresses, bore similarity in nature, when the turbulence reached a fully developed state. But the compressibility effect was strong and must be considered. The strong Reynolds analogy (SRA) and the Morkovin hypothesis were no longer valid. From the end of transition to the fully developed state of turbulence, it was in the transient period, for which the similarity did not hold.

In this paper,it is shown that the regular representation and regular covariant representation of the crossed products A×α G correspond to the twisted multiplicative unitary operators,where A is a Woronowicz C~*-algebra acted upon by a discrete group ***,it is also shown that the regular covariant C~*-algebra is the Woronowicz C~*-algebra which corresponds to a multiplicative ***,an explicit description of the multiplicative unitary operator for C(SU_q(2. )×α (?) is given in terms of those of the Woronowicz C~*-algebra C(SU_q(2. ) and the discrete group G.

Studies show positive shifts of inorganic and organic carbon isotope values (δ 13Ccarb and δ 13Ckerogen) from +0.43 (‰ V-PDB) to +3.54 (‰ V-PDB) and from ?2..38 (‰ V-PDB) to ?2..14 (‰ V-PDB), respectively, B* (Ba* = Ba/ (Al2.3 X 15%)) values from 0.015 to 0.144, TOC values from 0.02. to 0.2.%, V/Cr values from 0.3 to 2.0, Sr/Ba values from 3.2. to 49.50 in the Late Devonian Frasnian Upper rhenana zone to the top linguiformis zone of the Yangdi sec-tion deposited in carbonate slope facies of Guilin, Guangxi, South china, which indicates that biomass, productivity, organic carbon burial and salinity increase and that oxygenation near the boundary between sediments and waters decreases from the Late Devonian Frasnian Upper rhenana zone to the top linguiformis zone. Abundance of molecular fossils increases and normal alkanes, isoprenoid hydrocarbon, terpanes and steranes are dominated from the Late Devonian Frasnian to the bottom of Famennian, which shows that the predecessors of molecular fossils of the Frasnian-Famennian (F-F) transition are dominated by marine phytoplankton, zooplankton and benthic bacteria with no photosynthesis. Therefore, it is considered that the F-F transitional mass extinction with a multistage, selection and global synchronizing was caused by bacte-rial-algal proliferating, continuing deterioration of the shallow marine ecoenvironment of the mid-dle-lower latitudes. A simple cause and effect chain can be expressed as: appearance of seed plants and multi-storied forests → enhanced chemical and biochemical weathering and pe-dogenesis → wide development of soils → increasing riverine nutrient fluxes in epicontinental sea → from superoligotrophic to eutrophic in epicontinental sea → proliferating of marine phyto-plankton and zooplankton → frequent red tide and anoxia → mass extinction of shallow marine organisms in the middle-lower latitudes. AIM: To investigate the anti-apoptotic effect of transforming growth factor beta-1 (TGF-β1) on chronic ocular hypertension. METHODS: The expression of TGF-β1 in retinal ganglion cells (RCGs) was measured using the immunohistochemiscal S-P method and real-time PCR in the normally control group, the ocular hypertension group (experimental group A), the ocular hypertension plus antibody intervention group (experimental group B) and the ocular hypertension plus antigen intervention group (experimental group C) at 1, 2. 3 and 4 weeks postoperatively. The count of apoptotic RCGs was measured using the TUNEL method. RESULTS: The expression of TGF-β1 was significantly higher in experimental group C than that in other three groups (P4.17%). A statistically significant difference was noted between the four groups (P <0.01). The count of apoptotic RCGs was statistically significantly lower in experimental group C than that in the experimental groups A and B (P <0.01). A statistically significant difference was noted in the count of apoptotic RCGs between these three experimental groups (P <0.01). CONCLUSION: TGF-β1 can inhibit the apoptosis of RCGs in rats with chronic ocular hypertension.

The fast evaluation method of flood damages was explored with the combination of high technologies, such as remote sensing (RS) and geographic information system (GIS), namely the land classification and extraction of flood areas were accomplished in RS image processing software, ENVI, the flood damages information system, digital terrain model and flood damages evaluation information system were developed on GIS platform GeoMedia. The problem of the combination of multi-source data was addressed, furthermore, the problems of how to build the flood damages evaluation model and the inundating elevation model were deeply probed, the calculating formulas were also given. Case study result shows that the evaluation models are correct and data are reliable, we can use it to evaluate real-time flood damages and provide evidences for decision-making of leaders, moreover, it is of great instructive significance to the research of flood damages evaluation theories.
