Based on the general geometric model of multi-baseline Synthetic Aperture Radar Tomography （TomoSAR）, the three-dimensional （3.D） sampling criteria, the analytic expression of the 3.D Point Spread Function （PSF） and the 3.D resolution are derived in the 3.D wavenumber domain in this paper. Considering the relationship between the observation geometry and the size of illuminated scenario, a 3.D Range Migration Algorithm with Elevation Digital Spotlighting （RMA-EDS） is proposed. With this algorithm 3.D images of the area of interest can be directly and accurately reconstructed in the 3.D space avoiding the complex operations of 3.D geometric correction. Finally, theoretical analyses and simulation results are presented to demonstrate the shift-varying property of the 3.D PSF and the spatialvarying property of the 3.D resolution and to demonstrate the validity of the 3.D RMA-EDS.

A new method was put forward to make up the three-dimensional deposit model, and the spatiotemporal models of open-pit with temporal dynamics were also studied combined with the corrected models of multilevel ground states so as to bring the three-dimensional open-pit model at different time and its model serial formed from the evolvement into the management of temporal dimension in order to realize the spatial three-dimension and temporal dynamic for the mining management in open-pits,which makes this model easy to query and analyze 3.D information, also help surface mining replaying and stope evolution forecasting. Finally, the time-spatial model was established to show the dynamic mining on some open-pit under the windows XP and VC++ environment.

The indirect release of chemical energy of fuel is investigated, and a new mechanism is proposed to identify the cascade utilization of chemical energy of fuel more clearly. Based on the concept of energy level, the internal phenomenon of the indirect chemical energy release is disclosed, and the equations of energy level describing the utilization of chemical energy and thermal energy during the indirect chemical energy release process are obtained. From theoretical analysis, we find that the superiority of the indirect chemical energy release of fuel comes from the cascade utilization of the fuel's chemical energy. Moreover, the cascade utilization of chemical energy is verified by the investigation of CRGT (chemically recuperated gas turbine). As a result, the thermal exergy obtained from the chemical energy release of fuel increases by 2.% -3.% . The results obtained here may help a deeper understanding of indirect chemical energy release of fuel and provide a theoretical basis for the synthesis of innovative energy systems.

Short interspersed nuclear elements (SINEs) are widespread among eukaryotic genomes. They are repetitive DNA sequences that have been amplified by retrotransposition. In this study, a class of SINEs were isolated from the Opsariichthys bidens genome, and named Opsar. Sequence analysis confirmed that Opsar is a new class of typical SINEs derived from tRNA molecules. With the tRNA-derived region of Opsar and through BLASTN search, we further identified Zb-SINEs from the zebrafish genome, which includes two groups: Zb-SINE-A and Zb-SINE-B. The Zb-SINE-A. group comprises subfamilies of -Al--A5, and the Zb-SINE-B group is a dimer of the tRNA -derived region and shares a similar dimeric composition to Alu. Zb-SINEs are composed of three distinct regions: a 5’ end tRNA-derived region, a tRNA-unrelated region and a 3. end AT-rich region. The flanking regions are AT rich. The average length of Zb-SINEs elements is about 3.0 bp. Zb-SINEs account for as much as 0.1 % of the whole zebrafish genome. About 70% of the Zb-SINEs are on chromosomes 11, 18, and 19. These Zb-SINEs were characterized by PCR and dot hybridization. The distribution pattern of Zb-SINEs in genome strongly supports the master genes model. The tRNA-derived regions of Opsar and Zb-SINEs were compared with the tRNAAla gene, and they showed 76% similarity, indicating that Opsar and Zb-SINEs originated from an inactive tRNA sequence or a tRNA -like sequence. In view of the evolutionary status of zebrafish in the Cyprinidae, we deduced that Zb-SINEs were a very old class of interspersed sequences.

Based on the signal model of fixed-receiver bistatic SAR, this paper analyzes the characteristics of azimuth-variant, which includes variation of range migration curve and variation of Doppler rate caused by different azimuth position of targets. Then, an extended nonlinear chirp scaling (NLCS) algorithm is proposed, with its flowchart and phase compensation functions being provided. Simulation results show that the algorithm is available for the characteristics of azimuth-variant of fixed-receiver bistatic SAR, and good focused radar images could be acquired.

The nitrogen isotope of soil is of emerging significance as an indicator of climatic change and biogeochemical cycle of nitrogen in nature systems. In this paper, the nitrogen content and isotopic composition of modern ecosystems from arid and semiarid Loess Plateau in northwestern china, including plant roots and surface soil, were determined to investigate trends in δ15N variation of plant roots and soil along a precipitation and temperature gradient in northwestern china under the East Asian Monsoon climate condition. The δ15N values of surface soil from the study area vary from ?1.2. to 5.8‰, but from -5.1‰ to 1.9‰ in the plant roots. Our results indicate that (1) although the isotopic compositions of both plant roots and surface soil change with a similar trend along the climate gradient, the apparent nitrogen difference between plant roots and soil existed, with -δ15N values ranging from 0.{2. to 7.2. with average of 4.1‰; and (2. mean annual precipitation (MAP) is the dominant factor for isotopic composition of plant-soil nitrogen in the Loess Plateau, and the δ15N values are less correlated with MAT; we suggest that nitrogen isotopic composition of soil is a potential tracer for environmental changes.

Over the past two decades, molecular techniques have been widely used in ecological study and molecular ecology has been one of the most important branches of ecology. Meanwhile, genetic fingerprinting analyses have significantly enhanced our knowledge of the diversity and evolutionary relations of the planktonic organisms. Compared with conventional approaches in ecological study (e.g. morphological classification), genetic fingerprinting techniques are simpler and much more effective. This review provides an overview of the principles, advantages and limitations of the commonly used DNA fingerprinting techniques in plankton research. The aim of this overview is to assess where we have been, where we are now and what the future holds for solving aquatic ecological problems with molecular-level information.

Kinetics and reaction mechanism of phenol hydroxylation catalyzed by La-Cu_4FeAlCO_3

The present work synthesizes La-Cu4FeAlCO3.catalyst under microwave irradiation and characterizes its structure using XRD and IR techniques. The results show that the obtained La-Cu4FeAlCO3.has a hydrotalcite structure. In the phenol hydroxylation with H2.2.catalyzed by La-Cu4FeAlCO3. the effects of reaction time and phenol/H2.2.molar ratio on the phenol hy-droxylation, and relationships between the initial hydroxylation rate with concentration of the catalyst, phenol, H2.2.and reaction temperature are also investigated in details. It is shown the phenol conversion can reach 50.09% (mol percent) in the phenol hydroxylation catalyzed by La-Cu4FeAlCO3. under the reaction conditions of the molar ratio of phenol/H2.2.1/2. the amount ratio of phenol/catalyst 2., reaction temperature 3.3.K, reaction time 12. min, 10 mL distilled water as solvent. Moreover, a kinetic equation of v = k[La ? Cu 4 FeAlCO 3.][C 6 H 5 OH][H 2.O 2.. and the activation energy of Ea=58.3. kJ/mol are obtained according to the kinetic studies. Due to the fact that the HO-Cu+-OH species are detected in La-Cu4FeAlCO3.H2.2.system by XPS, the new mechanism about the generation of hydroxyl free radicals in the phenol hydroxylation is pro-posed, which is supposed that HO-Cu+-OH species are transition state in this reaction.

Microcosmic analysis of ductile shearing zones of coal seams of brittle deformation domain in superficial lithosphere

The ductile shearing zones of coal seams in a brittle deformation domain in super-ficial lithosphere are put forward based on the study on bedding shearing and ductile rheology of coal seams. The macrocosmic and microcosmic characteristics include wrinkle fold, mymonitized zones and ductile planar structure of coal seams, etc., while the microcosmic characteristics may also include different optic-axis fabrics and the anisotropy of vitrinite reflectance as well as the change of chemical structure and organic geochemistry components. The forming mechanism is analyzed and the strain environment of ductile shearing zones of coal seams discussed. The result indicates that, in the superficial brittle deformation domain, the coal seams are easy to be deformed, resulting in not only brittle deformation but also ductile shearing deformation under the action of force. Because of simple shearing stress, the interlayer gliding or ductile rheology may take place between coal seams and wall rocks. Therefore, many ductile shearing zones come into being in superficial lithosphere (<5 km). The research on ductile shearing zone of brittle de-formation domain in superficial lithosphere is significant not only theoretically for the study of ductile shearing and ductile rheology of the lithosphere but also practically for the structural movement of coal seams, the formation and accumulation of coal-bed methane, and the preven-tion and harness of gas burst in coal mine.
