Comparative study on CO_2 corrosion behavior of N80,P110,X52 and 13.r pipe lines in simulated stratum water

To better understand the carbon dioxide (CO2) corrosion behavior of carbon steel and its influence on petroleum development (including drilling,production and transportation) in the Daqing Oilfield,CO2 corrosion behaviors of N80,P110,X52 and 13.r pipe lines in simulated solution at high temperature and high pressure condition are investigated by dynamic corrosion experiments,scanning electron microscope (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) *** show that the corrosion rate of all pipe lines increases quickly when CO2 partial pressure increases from 0.5 to 1.5 MPa,but it slows down when CO2 partial pressure further increases from 1.5 to 4.5 MPa,during which localized corrosion is *** the experimental temperature ranges from 60 to 120°C,localized corrosion *** corrosion rate of all pipe lines decreases sharply when the temperature changes from 60 to 100°C,and it becomes stable after the temperature is higher than 100°*** the flow rate is in the range of 0–1.5 m/s,the corrosion rate of sample X52 remains unchanged,but localized corrosion gradually becomes very serious when the flow rate further *** analyzing the corrosion product scales of sample 13.r,some remarkable phenomena are *** the temperature range of 60–100°C,the corrosion product scales are loose and thick,but become very compact when the temperature increases above 100°*** the later case,localized corrosion is *** main components of the corrosion product scales are FeCO3.and Cr2O3.

Gastric tissue samples were studied using mid-IR fiber-optic attenuated total reflectance (ATR) spectroscopy. FTIR spectra of 90 tissue samples from 4. patients, including 3. normal and 58 malignant tissue samples, were chosen as examples. Malignancy was usually characterized by the absence of CH and C=O bands, a weak amide II band near 154. cm-1, a shift of the amide I band to lower wave number, a decrease in the ～14.0 cm-1 peak to less than the～14.0 cm-1 peak. Subtraction spectra indicate that the amide I and amide II bands of normal and malignant tissues have larger differences in peak positions and relative intensities. The statistical analysis results confirm this conclusion. The results indicate that FTIR fiber optic techniques provide important information about cancerous tissue of the stomach, which can be used to differentiate the malignant tissue from the normal tissue. Based on the above results we successfully realize the detection of the tumor tissues of digestive tract in vivo and in situ. And the results of detection cancer near operating room and in vivo and in situ in the operating room are consistent with the conclusions for the samples stored in liquid N2, which is the basis for the clinical application.

Tensile and compression properties of Zr-based bulk amorphous alloy at different temperatures

Mechanical properties of the Zr4.Ti14.u12.5Ni10Be22.5 bulk amorphous alloy at different temperatures were investigated. The compression test was carried out on a Gleebe-3.00 machine at 3.5 and 3.5°C, respectively, in the supercooled liquid region. It is shown that decreasing the compressive rate and increasing temperature have a similar influence trend on the compressive behavior of the bulk amorphous alloy. Room and low temperature tensile strengths were tested on the Instron materials testing system. At low temperature, the tensile strength decreased with decreasing of the testing temperature. Hardness measurement indicated that below the glass transition temperature, the hardness decreased with increasing of the annealing temperature and duration time. It, however, increased when the annealing treatment was performed above the glass transition temperature.

Geochemistry of high-Mg andesites from the early Cretaceous Yixian Formation, western Liaoning: Implications for lower crustal delamination and Sr/Y variations

85 volcanic rocks of the Yixian Formation from the Sihetun type section werecollected and analyzed for geochemical and isotopic compositions. Major element compositionsindicate that the Sihetun volcanic rocks are high magnesium andesites with some basalts occurring atthe bottom of section. The Sihetun high magnesium andesites (SiO_2 = 52.82-59.3. wt%, Al_2O_3.14.15-16.3.wt%) show many characteristics of adakites such as depletion in heavy rare-earth elements(HREE; Yb = 1.03.1.88 μg/g) and Y(12-20 μg/g) and high Sr (620-13.3.μg/g) and Sr/Y(3.-88), withhigh La_N/Yb_N ratio (10-25). They share similar major and trace element characteristics to volcanicrocks from the Xinglonggou Formation except their lower Nd isotope ratios (^(14.0}Nd/^(14.)Nd(13.Ma) = 0.5118-0.5119, ε_(Nd) (13.Ma) = -11.6-13.8, ^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr (13. Ma) = *** were interpreted in a way that eclogite that formed at the base of thickened Archean lowercrust of the North China craton foundered into the convecting mantle and subsequently melted andinteracted with peridotite. However, compared to the Xinglonggou volcanic rocks, the source of theSihetun magma contained more ancient continental crustal material in order to explain its evolved Ndisotopes. The age of the Sihetun Formation was 120 to 13. Ma, and this indicates that delaminationlasted to the early Cretaceous period. The Sr contents and Sr/Y ratios of the Sihetun high-Mgandesites show significant negative correlations with SiO_2 for samples with SiO_2 > 56%. Thesesuggest that the Sr and Sr/Y values were reduced due to fractional crystallization of ***, the effect of crystallization on volcanic Sr and Sr/Y ratio has to be taken intoaccount.

The petrological and geochemical features of the bed parallel granitic intrusion in the Pre-Cambrian Baoban group in Hainan Island attest to the anatexis origin of the granites. U-Pb dating analyses of zircons from the anatectic granite and the biotite two-feldspar gneiss in the Baoban group, using SHRIMP II in the beijing Ion-probe Center, acquire 206Pb/23.U ages of 3.8±3.5 Ma (of granite, 95% confidence level, MSDW=1.23. and 3.2.9±6.1 Ma (of gneiss, 95% confidence level, MSDW = 2.04. respectively. The two late Devonian ages indicate consistently a tectonic- thermal event experienced in Hainan Island, and are the first discovered record of the Devonian geological process in the district. This event possibly resulted from the deep ther-mal-dynamic process when the Gondwana continent began to break up in the Devonian period.

Autonomous relative navigation is the key technology in mining or rescuing. On the basis of mine requirement and the theories of machine vision, an autonomous relative navigation algorithm for mine agent based on quaternion was proposed. In rotation transformation, this algorithm was represented by using quaternion. Because the Jacobi matrix of this method is lower than that of Hall algorithm, the calculation efficiency is improved by using this algorithm. The results of these experiments show that the computation burden of this algorithm based on quaternion is about half that of Hall algorithm. This algorithm based on quaternion is improved as a valid way to solve the problem of mine real-time navigation.

This paper reports the study of ancient potteries unearthed from the Guangfulin site in Shanghai. From the external features of these potteries, archeologists can classify them into two different cultural types: Liangzhu culture (local culture) and a new culture which might be derived elsewhere, but they can not recognize whether they were produced in the same place. Proton induced X-ray emission (PIXE) and instrumental neutron activation analysis (INAA) were used to measure the chemical compositions of the samples and the results were analyzed using multivariate statistics. We found that the two methods can complement each other and their database can be mutually referenced in the study of ancient potteries. Experimental results show that the compositions of the potteries from the two cultural types are different, which means that the materials for ancient potteries of new culture originate from elsewhere. This supports the archaeologists’ speculation that a group of ancient people migrated to Shanghai from some other places 4.00 years ago.

By means of combining auto-extraction with manual interpretation, the current distribution information about cultivated land is obtained. The distribution information of 1992 is extracted from the dynamic polygons of 2002. The monitoring mini-system of the cultivated slope land is established. In the system, detailed surveys, focused on the resources of cultivated slope land, are carried out. The results indicate that the area of the cultivated slope land is very large. Meanwhile, there are lots of cultivated steep slopes with gradient above 3.°. The areas of steep land cultivated had been slowly reduced from 1992 to 2002. At the same time, the pressures of returning farm land to forestry are great in all counties. The conflicts between population growth, insufficient grain supply and stagnant economic development sharpen increasingly. It is inevitable to improve the agricultural structure.
