Aim:To investigate the effect of cholecystokinin octapeptide(CCK-8)on thediacylglycerol-protein kinase C(DAG-pKC)signaling pathway in rat pulmonaryinterstitial macrophages(pIM)stimulated by lipopolysaccaride(LpS).Methods:The pIM from rat lung tissues were isolated using the collagenase digestionmethod combined with alveolar lavage and pulmonary vessel *** and pKC activity were measured by radioenzymatic *** transloca-tion of pKCζ was determined by semi-quantitative immunoblot ***:CCK-8,at high concentrations(1×10-6-1×10-5mol/L),decreased DAG content andinhibited pKC activity and pKCζ translocation compared with that in rat restingpIM of a control group(ppS increased DAG content,and promoted pKCactivity and pKC~ translocation(preased LpS-induced DAGcontent and inhibited LpS-induced pKC activity and pKCζ translocation signifi-cantly at 1×10-8-1×10-5mol/L(pry effect of CCK-8 could beabrogated partly by proglumide(non-selective CCK receptor antagonist),Cr-1409(selective CCK-A receptor antagonist),and Cr-2945(selective CCK-Breceptor antagonist)in a concentration-dependent manner(pr of the DAG-pKC signaling pathway in rat restingpIM,which is very important for maintaining body *** significantlyinhibited LpS-induced DAG content,pKC activity and pKCζ translocation in aconcentration-dependent *** CCK receptor,especially the CCK-Areceptor,might play a major role in this process.

Determination of 23 organophosphorous pesticides(sulfotep,phorate,demeton,diazinon,disulfoton, kitazin.p,chlorpyrifos-methyl,methyl-parathion,ronnel,fenitrothion,malathion,chlorpyrifos,fenthion, parathion,bromophos,isofenphos-methyl,phenthoate,quinalphos,ethion,triazophos,carbophenothion, pirimiphos-methyl,pirimiphos-ethyl) in water using solid-phase microextraction(SpME) with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry detection(GC-MS) was *** influence of various parameters on pesticides extraction efficiency by SpME was thoroughly *** quantitation in the selective ion monitoring(SIM) mode,the linear range of most compounds was found to be between 0.05 and 10μg L and the detection limits were between 0.7 and 50 ng *** validate matrix effects for drinking and surface water,the recoveries were calculated between 72%and 119%.SpME in combination with GC-MS is a sensitive and effective method for the determination of organophosphorous pesticides (Opps) in water samples.

Avian influenza virus（AIV） nonstructural 1（NS1） gene was amplified by real-time polymerse chain reac tion（rT-pCr） and inserted into pET28a, then transformed into E. coli BL21（DE3） competent cell. With the induction of isopropyl-β-D-thiogalactoside（IpTG） and the purification of Ni-NTA column, we finally obtained purified NS1 protein. T7-phage display system was used to screen the proteins that interacted with NS1 from lung cell cDNA li brary. The selected positive clones were identified by DNA sequencing and analyzed by BLAST program in Gene Bank. Two proteins were obtained as NS1 binding proteins, Homo sapiens nucleolar and coiled-body phosphoprotein 1（NOLC1） and Homo sapiens similar to colon cancer-associated antigen. By co-immunoprecipitation and other me thods, Homo sapiens NOLC1 was found to interact with the NS1 protein, the results would provide the basis for fur ther studying biological function of NS1 protein.

Effect of In-home Fortification of Complementary Feeding on Intellectual Development of Chinese Children

Objective To explore the effect of in-home fortification of complementary feeding on intellectual development of Chinese children aged below 24 months. Methods One thousand and four hundred seventy eight children aged 4-12 months were recruited and divided into study groups （formula 1 group and formula 2 group） and control group. In two study groups, in addition to the usual complementary food, children were fed with a sachet of fortified food supplement each day. protein and micronutrients were provided in formula 1 group. Formula 2 group had the same energy intake as the formula 1 group . In addition to measurement of physical growth and detection of hemoglobin level, Development Quotient （DQ） or Intelligence Quotient （IQ） was assessed. results The DQ of children aged below 24 months was 97.2, 95.5, and 93.8 in formula 1 group, formula 2 group and control group, respectively, and the differences were statistically significant （p〈0.05）. The DQ of children in formula 1 group, formula 2 group, and control group was 92.7, 90.4, and 88.3 respectively in the first follow up showing statistically significant differences （p〈0.05）. And, DQ of children in formula 1 group, formula 2 group and control group were 96.7, 94.5, and 93.7 respectively in the second follow up, showing statistically significant differences （p〈0.05）. FulI-IQ of children in the formula 1 group was 3.1 and 4.5 points higher than that in formula 2 group and in control group respectively. Verbal IQ of children in the formula 1 group was 2.1 and 5 points higher than that in formula 2 group and control group respectively. performance IQ was 2.5 and 3.1 points higher than that in formula 2 group and control group respectively. All above mentioned comparisons were statistically significant. Conclusion Fortification of complementary feeding showed persistent effect on intelligence development of young children which could persist to 6 years of age. The critical time for correction of anemia could be under 18 m

There are no effective preventive and treatment measures at present for hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Thus its early diagnosis and treatment have an important scientific and social ***(VTN) is a potential target for diagnosis and treatment of many kinds of ***,with rNA interference technology to silence the expression of VTN in HepG2 and SMMC 7721 cells,we seek to elucidate the differences of growth characteristics between the cells and their VTN-silencing peers in vitro and in *** results indicate that VTN silencing do not affect the growth characteristics of HepG2 and SMMC 7721 cells,but could suppress the colonized growth on soft ***,VTN silencing can inhibit the volume and the weight of the grafted tumor on nude mice and decrease the intratumoral microvessel *** all,the results above indicate that VTN might play significant roles in the malignant growth of hepatocellular carcinoma cells.

This paper reports the kinetics of schistosomiasis in domestic animals in china from 2005 to *** these years,the prevalence of Schistosma japonicum(***) infection decreased significantly from 3.60%to 1.08%,and the estimated number of infected domestic animals reduced from 72223 to *** all estimated 208421 infected domestic animals,80.04%(166820) cases were in bovine species(cattle and buffalos) and 76.2%(158812) were situated in lake-marshland-type endemic regions including Hunan,Hubei,Jiangxi and Anhui *** worst affected were Dongting(Hunan province) and poyang(Jiangxi province) lake regions,where 70.14%of the infected animals detected in 2010 lived in. The results suggest that the prevalence of domestic animal schistosomiasis has been reduced significantly. The study has reinforced the idea that bovine animals are the main infectious source for transmission of schistosomiasis,and that lake-marshland-type endemic regions,especially the poyang and Dongting lake regions,are key regions in which to implement control of schistosomiasis.

Conditional gene expression has greatly facilitated the examination of the functions of particular gene products. Using the Cre/lox p switching expression system, we plan to develop efficient conditional transgeneactivation of hepatitis C virus core protein (HCV-C) cDNA (nucleotide 342–914) in the transgenic mice to overcome “immune tolerance” formed during the embryonic period and “immune escape” against hepatitis virus antigen in our project. To use this system in vivo, the dormant transgenic construct, i.e., pApoE-SCS-EGFp-HCV-C, was generated using techniques of standard molecular biology. The liver- specific human apoE promoter was here used to target expression of genes of interest (EGFp and HCV-C) to murine liver. prior to generating the transgenic mice, the availability of Cre/lox p system and construct functionality were successfully verified by a cell-free recombination system and via checking the expression of EGFp and HCV-C in the human hepatoma cells at the mrNA and protein levels. These results suggest that the Cre/lox p system could tightly control expression of EGFp and HCV-C in vitro, which laid a solid foundation to conditionally activate expression of target gene(s) in transgenic mice by Cre-mediated site-specific recombination.

In this paper,based on a resent result of deterministic learning,we present an approach for the compass gait biped control and *** a compass-like robot is controlled to perform a desired walking pattern,locally-accurate approximation of the closed-loop control system dynamics can be achieved in a local region along the periodic ***,like the learning process of human walking,the learned knowledge can be reused for the same or similar control *** with previous methods,the robot can be easily controlled with little *** paper continues our work on deterministic learning based robot manipulator control,and establishes the foundation for more complex biped robot control and learning problem. Simulation studies are included to illustrate the proposed approach.

职业人员失眠症综合疗法疗效对比分析

目的　探讨综合疗法治疗职业人员失眠症的疗效。方法　随机选择不同职业人员失眠症患者 3 7例 (治疗组 ) ,采用综合疗法 (耳穴贴压与音乐疗法 )治疗 3个疗程后 ,与 3 1例失眠症患者采用针刺疗法治疗 (对照组 ) 3个疗程后的疗效进行比较。结果　治疗组总有效率 ( 94 5 9% )显著高于对照组 ( 74 19% ) ,差异有显著性 (p p <0 0 5 )。治疗组症状改善随治疗天数增加而更为明显 ,停止治疗也不易反弹。结论　综合疗法治疗失眠症的疗效高、起效快、作用时间持久、不易引起反弹 ,未见明显的不良反应。

Formaldehyde is an important carcinogen commonly found *** indoor sources have been intensively *** study on outdoor formaldehyde concentration,which is potentially an important source to indoors,remains *** study attempts to characterize temporal and spatial distribution of the atmospheric formalde-hyde concentration in Chinese *** variation of ambient formaldehyde was examined in 6 cities and peak hours were identified between 12:00 pm and 3:00 ***,outdoor formaldehyde concentrations were measured in the peak hours in 30 cities during the summer months of Jul.-Aug.,*** formaldehyde concentrations in the peak hours fell into a range of 0.005-0.087 mg/m^(3)(median value is 0.027 mg/m^(3)),87.7%of which have exceeded the chronic reference exposure criteria of 0.009 mg/m^(3) set by Office of Environmental Health Hazard *** risk analysis suggests that exposure to ambient formaldehyde could cause a median carcinogenic risk of 1.9×10^(−5)(3.17×10^(−6)-6.13×10^(−5)),higher than threshold limit of 10−*** correlation analysis of the 30 cities shows that ambient summertime atmospheric formaldehyde concentrations of the city are positively correlated with its Gross Domestic product(r=0.48).We also found that the outdoor formaldehyde concentrations in urban areas(median:0.017 mg/m^(3))is slightly higher than those in suburban areas(median:0.013 mg/m^(3)).results here prove that outdoor formaldehyde is ubiquitous in Chinese cities and reduces effectiveness of ventilation in dilution indoor *** it would underestimate air cleaner capacity needed by a factor of about *** should be accounted for in health analysis and air quality engineering control design of built environment in the future.
