目的调查粤东地区放疗物理技术及QA的基本情况,为促进基层单位放疗学科建设、资源合理配置提供参考。方法 2.16年3—5月利用互联网技术结合现场调查方式,对粤东地区放疗单位的一般情况、设备配置、开展技术和治疗QA方面进行了调查和统计分析。结果截止2.16年5月31日,共有放疗单位8家,开放病床数966张,日均放疗632.次,放疗从业人员2.2.。共有直线加速器12.,后装治疗机5台,γ刀1台,CT模拟机8台,放疗计划系统9套。5个单位开展包括IMrT/VMAT、IGrT、ArT技术,精确放疗计划除1个单位外治疗前全部进行剂量验证。直线加速器、CT模拟机、后装治疗机等设备QA项目存在缺漏,专业技术人员职业培训以短期进修及老带新为主。结论调查显示粤东地区放疗资源配置处于较低水平。地区内各单位放疗技术及QA存在明显差距,需加强放疗QA规范的建立和执行,重视专业技术人员的职业培训。

postop.r.tive radiotherapy (prT) is widely advocated for patients with squamous cell carcinomas of the head and neck that are considered to be at high risk of recurrence after surgical resection. The aims of this study were to evaluate the treatment outcomes of prT for patients with laryngeal carcinoma and to identify the value of several prognostic factors. We reviewed the records of 2.6 patients treated for laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma between January 1993 and December 2.05. Disease-free survival (DFs) and overall survival (Os) were estimated using the Kaplan-Meier method. Log-rank test was employed to identify significant prognostic factors for DFs and Os. The Cox prop.r.ional hazards model was applied to identify covariates significantly associated with the aforementioned endpoints. Our results showed the 3-, 5-, and 10-year DFs for all patients were 69.9%, 59.5%, and 34.9%, respectively. The 3-, 5-, and 10-year Os rates were 80.8%, 68.6%, and 38.8%, respectively. significant prognostic factors for both DFs and Os on univariate analysis were grade, primary site, T stage, N stage, overall stage, lymph node metastasis, overall treatment times of {2., the interval between surgery and radiotherapy, and radiotherapy equipment. Favorable prognostic factors for both DFs and Os on multivariate analysis were lower overall stage, no cervical lymph node metastasis, and using 60Co as radiotherapy equipment. In conclusion, our data suggest that lower overall stage, no cervical lymph node metastasis, and using 60Co as radiotherapy equipment are favorable prognostic factors for DFs and Os and that reducing the overall treatment times of {2. to 6 weeks or less and the interval between surgery and radiotherapy to less than 3 weeks are simple measures to remarkably improve treatment outcome.

The incidence of pancreatic cancer has been rising worldwide,and its clinical diagnosis and treatment remain a great *** present the update and improvements in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic cancer in recent years,Chinese pancreatic Association,the Chinese society of surgery,Chinese Medical Association revised the Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of pancreatic cancer in China(2.14)after reviewing evidence-based and problem-oriented literature published during 2.15-2.2.,mainly focusing on highlight issues regarding diagnosis and surgical treatment of pancreatic cancer,conversion strategies for locally advanced pancreatic cancer,treatment of pancreatic cancer with oligo metastasis,adjuvant and neoadjuvant therapy,standardized processing of surgical specimens and evaluation of surgical margin status,systemic treatment for unresectable pancreatic cancer,genetic testing,as well as postop.r.tive follow up of patients with pancreatic *** recommendation items were finally proposed based on the above issues,and the quality of evidence and strength of recommendations were graded using the Grades of recommendation,Assessment,Development,and Evaluation *** guideline aims to standardize the clinical diagnosis and therapy,especially surgical treatment of pancreatic cancer in China,and further improve the prognosis of patients with pancreatic cancer.

Background:The scored patient-Generated subjective Global Assessment(pG-sGA)has been widely used to assess the nutritional status of cancer *** p.r.ose of this study is to comp.r. the differences in pG-sGA scores and the 7 domain scores of the pG-sGA in male and female cancer ***:This study was conducted at 72.hospitals from July 2.13 to December 2.18,a p.r. of the Investigation on Nutritional status and its Clinical Outcomes of Common *** pG-sGA was recorded to evaluate the nutritional status of patients.A total of 19,52. patients with 13 common malignancies were included in this *** t test and the χ^(2. test were applied to analyze the sex diferences in the 7 domain *** cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)database was used to analyze the expression levels of symptom-related ***:There were significant sex dfferences in the pG-sGA(p=0.032.,notably in patients with gastric cancer(male vs female:9.09±4.86 vs 9.58±5.07,p=0.005)and esophageal cancer(9.64±4.90 vs 10.46±4.96,p=0.011)and the average total pG-sGA of female patients was slightly higher than that of male patients(7.64±4.98 vs 7.77±5.14).The differences were mainly related to the weight,eating,symptom,as well as activity and physical function scores in the stratified *** causes of the sex differences were the rates of nausea,vomiting,dry mouth,and other symptoms,in both gastric and esophageal cancer *** of the TCGA database suggested that most of the related genes were sex neutral,except for genes related to dysphagia in gastric cancer(VEGFC was higher in female patients,VEGFA and VEGFB higher in male patients).Conclusions:There are sex differences in the pG-sGA scores in patients with various tumor types(female patients generally had higher scores than male patients),with differences mainly in the weight,eating,symptom,as well as activity and physical function *** sex differences in pG-sGA scores might be due to the differences i
