Salinity is a crucial property of water body and is essential for the restoration of paleoecology and ***,the theoretical method of application of elemental geochemical proxies to paleosalinity reconstruction is still ***,accurate determination and reconstruction of paleosalinity and its variation in an offshore lacustrine basin have been extremely challenging thus *** study presents detailed elemental geochemical investigations from the Zhanhua Sag in the southern Bohai Bay Basin to reconstruct the salinity variation in the Paleogene Eocene Shahejie Formation(50.8-33.9 Ma).Based on the variation of strontium barium ratio(Sr/Ba)and boron gallium ratio(B/Ga),we determined three typical salinity types of water body:salty water(Sr/Ba>0.5,B/Ga>6),brackish water(0.22,B/Ga<3),after eliminating carbonate-sourced strontium(Sr).The salinity values following Couch’s paleosalinometer r anged from 3.1 to 11.9,reflecting the overall characteristics of oligohaline(0.5

Wnt signaling are critical pathway involved in organ development, tumorigenesis, and cancer progression. WNT7A, a member of the Wnt family, remains poorly understood in terms of its role and the underlying molecular mechanisms it entails in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). According to the Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA), transcriptome sequencing data of HNSCC, the expression level of WNT7A in tumors was found to be higher than in adjacent normal tissues, which was validated using Real-time RT-PCR and immunohistochemistry. Unexpectedly, overexpression of WNT7A did not activate the canonical Wnt-β-catenin pathway in HNSCC. Instead, our findings suggested that WNT7A potentially activated the FZD7/JAK1/STAT3 signaling pathway, leading to enhanced cell proliferation, self-renewal, and resistance to apoptosis. Furthermore, in a patient-derived xenograft (PDX) tumor model, high expression of WNT7A and phosphorylated STAT3 was observed, which positively correlated with tumor *** findings underscore the significance of WNT7A in HNSCC progression and propose the targeting of key molecules within the FZD7/JAK1/STAT3 pathway as a promising strategy for precise treatment of HNSCC.

The tight tuff reservoir is an unusual type of unconventional reservoir with strong ***,there is a lack of research on the microscopic pore structure that causes the heterogeneity of tuff *** the Chang 7 Formation in Ordos Basin,china as a case study,carbon-dioxide gas adsorption,nitrogen gas adsorption and high-pressure mercury injection are integrated to investigate the multi-scale pore structure characteristics of tuff ***,the fractal dimension is introduced to characterize the complexity of pore structure in tuff *** this multi-experimental method,the quantitative characterizations of the full-range pore size distribution of four tuff types were obtained and compared in the size ranges of micropores,mesopores and *** dimension curves derived from full-range pores are divided into six segments as D1,D2,D3,D4,D5 and D6 corresponding to fractal characteristics of micropores,smaller mesopores,larger mesopores,smaller macropores,medium macropores and larger macropores,*** macropore volume,average macropore radius and fractal dimension D5 significantly control petrophysical *** larger macropore volume,average macropore radius and D5 correspond to favorable pore structure and good reservoir quality,which provides new indexes for the tuff reservoir *** study enriches the understanding of the heterogeneity of pore structures and contributes to unconventional oil and gas exploration and development.

Efficient generation of spin polarization is very important for spintronics and quantum computation. In chiral materials without magnetic order nor spin-orbit coupling, we find a new spin selectivity effect—chiral phonon activated spin Seebeck(CPASS)effect. Starting with the nonequilibrium distribution of chiral phonons under a temperature gradient, the CPASS coefficients are computed based on the Boltzmann transport theory. With both the phonon-drag and band transport contributions, the spin accumulations generated by the CPASS effect exhibit quadratic dependence on the temperature gradient. The strength of the CPASS effect and the relative magnitude of both contributions are tunable by the chemical potential modulation. The CPASS effect, which gives a promising explanation on the traditional chiral-induced spin selectivity effect, provides opportunities for the exploration of advanced spintronic devices based on chiral materials even in the absence of any magnetic order and spin-orbit coupling.

Study on Clogging Mechanism and Water Sediment Movement Mechanism of Patch-Type Drip Irrigation Emitters

As one of the key components of drip irrigation technology， the existence of sediment particles seriously affects the service life of emitters and restricts the popularization of drip irrigation technology. In this paper， two kinds of patch drip irrigation emitters are used as research object， and the anti-clogging performance experiment is carried out in the laboratory. The dynamic changes in emitters’ clogging characteristics (Dra， Cu) were statistically analyzed. The movement mechanism of emitter clogging and discharging sediment was studied. The effects of emitter structure and position factors on emitter clogging were analyzed. The results show that: (1) The pressure-compensated emitter has better anti-clogging performance， and its service life is 227.8% of the labyrinth channel emitter. (2) Single structural factor can not evaluate the anti-clogging performance of emitters. All factors causing emitter clogging should be considered comprehensively. (3) All emitters have sensitive clogging sediment inside， but only when sediment content is high can it easily cause blockage. The results show that when the sensitive sediment content is 5.46% and 5.54%， it does not affect the clogging characteristics of the emitters. (4) The discharge of sediment V90 from the emitter is affected by the accumulation effect of clogged sediment. The experimental results show that the emitter can discharge up to 50% of the accumulated clogged sediment without clogging. In comparison， the emitter with clogging can only discharge up to 25% of the accumulated clogged sediment. These results could provide references for the application and promotion of drip irrigation technology.

In traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),Euphorbia fischeriana Steud(***)and Euphorbia ebracteolata Hayata(***),commonly referred to as“Langdu”,are widely extensively utilized for treating lymphatic tuberculosis and ringworm[1].Both plant species are perennial herbaceous plants mainly distributed in northeastern china,Mongolia,Russia(Siberia),and Republic of Korea[2].There have been many reports on the chemical constituents and pharmacological effects of the two plant species,which has made more and more researchers realize that there may be differences between *** and *** some cases,long-term improper use of herbal medicines can even lead to life-threatening conditions[3,4].Therefore,it is essential to employ an effective technology to differentiate between these two plants based on their chemical constituents and biological activities,so as to reduce the harm caused by the mixing and misuse of medicinal ***,the present paper describes a study of the differences between *** and ***,using untargeted plant metabolomics and biological activity *** study aims to provide valuable insight into their equivalence and potential interchangeability in TCM and clinical medication.

The innovation of CRISPR/Cas gene editing technology has developed rapidly in recent years. It is widely used in the fields of disease animal model construction, biological breeding, disease diagnosis and screening, gene therapy, cell localization, cell lineage tracking, synthetic biology, information storage, etc. However, developing idealized editors in various fields is still a goal for future development. This article focuses on the development and innovation of non-DSB editors BE and PE in the platform-based CRISPR system. It first explains the application of ideas for improvement such as “substitution”, “combination”, “adaptation”, and “adjustment” in BE and PE development and then catalogues the ingenious inversions and leaps of thought reflected in the innovations made to CRISPR technology. It will then elaborate on the efforts currently being made to develop small editors to solve the problem of AAV overload and summarize the current application status of editors for in vivo gene modification using AAV as a delivery system. Finally, it summarizes the inspiration brought by CRISPR/Cas innovation and assesses future prospects for development of an idealized editor.

Background:Owing to its unique characteristics,the lateral circumflex femoral artery perforator(LCFAP)flap is often preferred for repairing head wounds with exposed ***,given the vascular distribution in the head,particularly the veins,can lead to postoperative complications such as venous congestion of the *** rates of vascular exploration and necrosis in these flaps are significantly higher than in other body ***,it is crucial to identify a safe and effective method for venous anastomosis of free flaps in the head ***:This retrospective case series study included 10 patients with large head soft tissue defects treated at the Burn and Plastic Surgery Department of the Affiliated Hospital of Zunyi Medical university from January 2020 to December *** head defects were reconstructed using LCFAP flaps,with flap veins anastomosed to the external jugular vein in the neck,either directly or via a bridging ***:Among the 10 adult patients with massive head wound defects,7(70%)were *** patients’mean age was 53.0 years(48–59 years).The wound defects were caused by trauma in 6(60%)patients and by tumors in 4(40%)***,no significant complications occurred,and all LCFAP flap survived without ***:The descending branch of the LCFAP flap effectively repairs massive head wound *** venous anastomosis method for this flap is associated with a low incidence of venous complications and a high patency rate,making it a clinically valuable reference.
