Peer-to-peer (P2P) based content distribution systems have emerged as the main form for content distribution on the Internet,which can greatly reduce the distribution cost of content providers and improve the overall system ***,the mismatch between the overlay and underlay networks causes large volume of redundant traffic,which intensifies the tension between P2P content providers and ***,how to efficiently use network resources to reduce the traffic burden on the ISPs is crucial for the sustainable development of P2P *** paper surveys the state-of-art P2P traffic optimization technologies from three perspectives:P2P cache,locality-awareness and data *** details,comparison between these technologies and their applicabilities are presented,followed by a discussion of the issues that remain to be addressed and the direction of future content distribution research.

SUPERCONDUCTING Bi2Sr2Ca1CU2O7-x（BSCCO） films have been prepared in-situ on Si substrates with yttria stabilized zirconia （YSZ） buffer layers by rf magnetron sputtering. Although the dams produce remarkable social and economic benefits, the threat made by unsafe dams to the life and property of people who live in the lower river area is un-negligible. Based on the monitoring data which reflect the safety condition of dams, the risk degree concept is proposed and the analysis system and model for evaluating risk degree (rate) are established in this paper by combining the reliability theory and field monitoring data. The analysis method for risk degree is presented based on Bayesian approach. A five-grade risk degree system for dam operation risk and corresponding risk degree is put forward according to the safety condition of dams. The operation risks of four cascade dams on some river are analyzed by the model and approach presented here and the result is adopted by the owner.

The shear strength parameters property of rock-soil aggregates in embankment slope of reservoir,that is,the relationship between cohesion and gravel content,between friction angle and gravel content,and the relationship between cohesion and water content,between friction angle and water content,is studied based on the direct shear test results,the shear strength change law of the rock-soil aggregates is given,and the unsaturated shear strength formulation of rock-soil aggregates that could consider suction and saturation degree influence is put forward in this paper,through which the sliding or failure physical mechanism of this type of slope under the condition of rainfall infiltration is studied. Also the 3D unsteady saturated-unsaturated seepage field and its FEM resolving mode are established based on the analysis of the slope rainfall infiltration process. Case study with this method indicates that the minimum safety factor of the accumulated rock-soil aggregates dose not arrive at the moment of rainfall cessation,but appears several hours after the rainfall cessation,this phenomenon is in accordance with the practical slope engineering's failure process and could explain appropriately the slope failure caused by rainfall infiltration. Research results in this paper have an important reference value for the research on stability of the accumulated rock-soil aggregates in embankment slope of reservoir,and can enrich the stability analysis method and relevant theory of reservoir embankment slope.

Influence of mesoscale topography on vortex intensity

The effect of mesoscale topography on multi-vortex self-organization is investigated numerically in this paper using a barotropic prim- itive equation model with topographic *** the initial field there are one DeMaria major vortex with the maximum wind radius rm of 80 km at the center of the computational domain,and four meso-b vortices in the vicinity of rm to the east of the major vortex center. When there is no topography present,the initial vortices self-organize into a quasi-final state flow pattern,i.e.a quasi-axisymmetric vor- tex whose intensity is close to that of the initial major ***,when a mesoscale topography is incorporated,the spatial scale of the quasi-final state vortex reduces,and the relative vorticity at the center of the vortex and the local maximum wind speed remarkably *** possible mechanism for the enhancement of the quasi-final state vortex might be that the negative relative vorticity lump, generated above the mesoscale topography because of the constraint of absolute vorticity conservation,squeezes the center of positive vorticity towards the mountain slope area,and thus reduces the spatial range of the major ***,because the total kinetic energy is basically conservative,the squeezing directly leads to the concentration of the energy in a smaller area,*** strengthening of the vortex.

Study on specific interaction of new ferrocene-substituted carborane conjugates with hemoglobin protein

The interactions between the new organometallic complexes, ferrocenesubstituted dithioocarborane conjugates （denoted as FcSB1, FcSB2 and FcSBCO） and hemoglobin （Hb） are investigated by electrochemistry, fluorescence and UVvis absorption spectroscopy. The results demonstrate that FcSB1, FcSB2 and FcSBCO can bind to the heme iron center through the replacement of the weakly bound H20/02 in the distal heme pocket of Hb by their sulfur donor atoms, inducing the allosteric change from the R state （oxygenated conformation, relax） to T state （deoxygenated conformation, tense）. The binding affinity is in the order of FcSBCO〉FeSB2〉FeSB1. Moreover, the fluorescence study illustrates that the three ferrocenecarborane conjugates differently affect the quarterly and tertiary structures as well as the polarity in the surrounding of the Trp and Tyr residues in Hb. Typically, FcSB2 mainly induces alterations of the microenvironment around the 1337Trp residue which is located on the cql32 interface of Hb. Such distinct influences are attributed to the structural features of FcSB1, FcSB2 and FcSBCO containing hydrophobic ferrocenyl and carboranyl units as well as C=O group. Screening the proteinbinding behavior can signify the potential bioactivity of such molecules and may be helpful in the future development of promising multifunctional metallodrugs.

Galactic kinematics and structure defined by open clusters

On the basis of recently published astrophysical parameters of the open clusters, we have selected 301 clusters with measurements of their kinematical parameters to trace the local structure and kinematics of the Galactic disk. The present sample covers a range of over 3.0 kpc from the Sun and gives significant estimates of the disk structure and kinematical parameters of the Galaxy. We derive the disk scale height, vertical displacement of the Sun to the Galactic plane, solar motion with respect to the local standard of rest, circular speed of the Galactic rotation, Galactocentric distance from the Sun, etc. We found that the average scale height of the disk defined by the open clusters is Zh = 58 ± 4pc, with a vertical displacement of the Sun below the Galactic plane of z0 -= - 16±4 pc. Clusters with ages older than 50 Myr are less concentrated in the average plane （Zh=67 ±6pc） than the younger clusters （Zh = 51±5pc）. Using the approximation of axisymmetric circular rotation, we have derived the distance to the Galactic center from the Sun R0 = 8.03 ±0.70 kpc, which is in excellent agreement with the best estimate of the Galactocentric distance. From a kinematical analysis, we found an agedependent rotation of the Galaxy. The older clusters exhibit a lower velocity of vorticity, but have the same shear as the younger clusters. The mean rotation velocity of the Galaxy was obtained as 235 ± 10 km s-1.

Given the limitation of traditional univariate analysis method in processing the multicollinearity of dam monitoring data,this paper reconstructs the multivariate response variables by introducing principal component analysis(PCA) method,explores the ways of determining principal components(PCs),and extracts a few PCs that have major influence on data *** steady observation series,a control field for the whole observation values has been established based upon PCA;for unsteady observation series that have significant tendency,a control field for the future observation values has been constructed according to PC statistical predication *** methods have already been applied to an actual project and the results showed that data interpretation method with PCA can not only realize data reduction,lower data redundancy,and reduce noise and false alarm rate,but also be effective to data analysis,having a broad application prospect.

Estimation of suspended sediment concentration based on bio-optical mechanism and HJ-1 image in Chaohu Lake

Synchronization experiment was conducted in June,2009 to get Inherent Optical Properties(IOP) of water component in Chaohu *** bio-optical mechanism was studied combined with multispectral data of Environmental Satellite 1(CCD),and then inversion models of total suspended matter(TSM),inorganic suspended matter(ISM) and organic suspended matter(OSM) concentration were *** data indicated that:the absorption ratio of suspended particulate matter and CDOM to total were almost no change from band 1 to band 2 with about 85% and 9%,*** ratio of pure water to total increased from 0.4% to 5.6%.Water reflectance in these two bands were influenced by absorption of three kinds of components:algae particles absorption surpassed non-algal particles in band 3,and so played an important role in total absorption with about 35.7%;the proportion of pure water absorption and particles matter backscattering both were 99% in band 4,so these two components decided the main inherent optical properties in band *** models of TSM and ISM concentration inversion based on band combination(band 3 + band 4)/(band 1 + band 2) were built,while OSM concentration was estimated by band 4/(band 1 + band 2) *** by image data,RE of TSM concentration between modeled and measured was 33.4%,and RMSE was 18.68 mg/*** of ISM and OSM concentration were 39.9% and 35.2% *** inversion was more accurate when satellite-ground data were just in the same *** this situation,RE of ISM concentration dropped to 25.4%,and that of TSM and OSM reduced to 26.5% and 26.8% as well.
