Decoupling of surface and subsurface sutures in the Dabie orogen and a continent-collisional lithospheric-wedging model: Sr-Nd-Pb isotopic evidences of Mesozoic igneous rocks in eastern china

There are significant differences of Nd and Pbisotopic compositions between Mesozoic mafic igneous rocks from the North china Block (NCB) and the South chinaBlock (SCB). Mesozoic mantle-derived igneous rocks fromthe North china Block have very low e Nd values (-15 to -21), and 206Pb/204Pb ratios ( -10 and 206Pb/204Pb > 18.3. The verylow e Nd values (-16 to -20) and 206Pb/204Pb ratios (< 17.3) of the early Cretaceous mafic-ultramafic intrusions developedin the north part of the Dabie orogen (NDZ) suggest that the deep lithosphere underneath the NDZ belongs to the NCBbut not the SCB. Therefore, although the surface suture be-tween the NCB and SCB is located on the north side of theNDZ, the subsurface suture between the NCB and SCBshould be located to the south side of the NDZ. This is con-sistent with the previous suggestion that the subsurface su-ture in the Sulu terrane east of the Tanlu fault was the south displacement, but contradictory to northward continentalsubduction of the SCB. A continent-collisional lithospheric-wedging model can interpret the decoupling of the surface and subsurface sutures in the Dabie-Sulu orogen. After slabbreak-off, the continuing convergence of two continental blocks must increase the compression force acting on the suture zone, which might induce the lithosphere splitting of SCB. Thus, the lower crust and lithospheric mantle on thesouth margin of the NCB can wedge into the north margin of the lithosphere of the SCB along the Dabie-Sulu collisionzone. This process caused the overthrust of the mid-upper continental crust with exhumed ultrahigh pressure meta-morphic (UHPM) rocks and underthrust of the deep litho-sphere of the SCB. It could be an important mechanism re-sponsible for the second rapid cooling and uplifting of theUHPM rocks and lithospheric delamination as well as thecorresponding magmatism in Jurassic in the Dabie *** southward movement of subsurface suture

Abstract We investigate negacyclic codes over the Galois ring GR（2a,m） of length N = 2kn, where n is odd and k≥0. We first determine the structure of u-constacyclic codes of length n over the finite chain ring GR（2a, m）[u]/〈u2k ＋ 1〉. Then using a ring isomorphism we obtain the structure of negacyclic codes over GR（2a, m） of length N = 2kn （n odd） and explore the existence of self-dual negacyclic codes over GR（2a, m）. A bound for the homogeneous distance of such negacvclic codes is also given.

Antisense-Induced Blockade of GATA-3 Expression Could Inhibit Th2 Excursion of Tumor Cells in vitro and in vivo

Previous studies have shown that tumor cells predominantly express Th2 type cytokines and transcription factors. GATA-3, as a Th2-specific transcription factor, plays a central role in positive-regulating Th2 development. So whether the expression of GATA-3 in tumor cells has any effect on tumor development is a question of interest. In the present study, we inhibited the expression of GATA-3 in tumor cells through antisense RNA blockade technique, and observed its effects on tumor in vitro and in vivo. Our results showed that antisense GATA-3 treatment could inhibit the expression of TNF-α and Th2 cytokines in tumor cells, and antisense-induced blockade of GATA-3 could also depress tumor growth in tumor-bearing mice. We suggest that the ratio of T-bet/GATA-3 can be evaluated as a more important marker of the status of Thl/Th2 type. And our results might provide some evidence about the molecular regulatory mechanisms in tumor cell development. Cellular ＆ Molecular Immunology. 2005 ;2（3 ）： 189-196.

Entropy Assessment on Environmental Influence of Condense Heat in Recovery System in Air-Conditioning Refrigerating Machine

This paper presented an entropy evaluation method for the influences of condense heat recovery system on the *** at the damage of the condense heat to the environment,an entropy of resource loss and an emission entropy from the condense heat recovery system in the air conditioning refrigerating machine were *** the evaluation of the entropies,we developed a new algorithm for the parameter identification,called the composite influence coefficient,based on the Least Squares Support Vector Machine *** simulation,the numerical experiments shows that the Least Squares Support Vector Machine method is one of the powerful methods for the parameter identification to compute the damage entropy of the condense heat,with the largest training error being-0.025(the relative error being-3.56%),and the biggest test error being 0.015(the relative error being 2.5%).

Characteristics of low-frequency oscillation intensity of airsea turbulent heat fluxes over the northwest Pacific

Based on the daily turbulent heat fluxes and related meteorological variables datasets (1985-2006) from Objectively Analyzed air-sea Fluxes (OAFlux) Project of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI), characteristics of low-frequency oscillation intensity of air-sea turbulent heat fluxes over the northwest Pacific are analyzed by linear perturbation method and correlation analysis. It can be concluded that: 1) the distribution of low-frequency oscillation intensity of latent heat flux (LHF) over the northwest Pacific is mainly affected by that of low-frequency oscillation intensity of anomalous air-sea humidity gradient (Δq′) as well as mean air-sea humidity gradient ( Δ q), while the distribution of low-frequency oscillation intensity of sensible heat flux (SHF) is mainly affected by that of low-frequency oscillation intensity of anomalous air-sea temperature gradient (ΔT′). 2) The low-frequency oscillation of turbulent heat fluxes over the northwest Pacific is the strongest in winter and the weakest in summer. And the seasonal transition of low-frequency oscillation intensity of LHF is jointly influenced by those of low-frequency oscillation intensity of Δq′, low-frequency oscillation intensity of anomalous wind speed (U′), Δ q and mean wind speed (U ), while the seasonal transition of low-frequency oscillation intensity of SHF is mainly influenced by those of low-frequency oscillation intensity of ΔT′ and U . 3) Over the tropical west Pacific and sea areas north of 20°N, the low-frequency oscillation of LHF (SHF) is mainly influenced by atmospheric variables qa′ (Ta′) and U′, indicating an oceanic response to overlying atmospheric forcing. In contrast, over the tropical eastern and central Pacific south of 20°N, qs′ (Ts′) also greatly influences the low-frequency oscillation of LHF (SHF).

Interface Stability of the SiC Particles/Fe Matrix Composite System

The interface reaction between the SiC particles （ SiCp ） and Fe was stndicd during sintering the SiCp reinforced Fe matrix composites at 1423 K for 1 h. In the composite having 3wt% （weight ratio） SiCp （the 3SiCp/ Fe composite）, the interface reaction products of Fe3 Si, the carbon precipitates, and Fe3 C or pearlite were generated. Fe3 Si coustructs the bright matrix of the reaction zone in the original situation of the SiCp. The carbon precipitates are randondy embedded in the reaction zone. Fe3 C or pearlite exists at the grain boundaries of the Fe matrix. As increasing the SiCp concentration in the SiCp/ Fe composite, the inteusity of the interface reaction between SiCp and Fe iacreases. After the 10SiCp/ Fe composite （ having 10wt .% SiCp ） sintered at 1423 K for 1 h, all of SiCp are decomposed, and replaced by the reaction zone composed of Fe3 Si and the carbon precipitates. No Fe3 C or pearlite was genertaed during the reaction. The effects of the techniques of oxidizing of SiCp , coating SiCp by interaction with the Cr powder, and alloying the Fe matrix by adding the Cr element on the interface stability of the SiCp/ Fe composite system were also investigated, respectitely. The oxide membrane and the coating layer on SiCp can inhibit the interface reaction between SiCp and Fe by isolating SiCp from the Fe matrix during sintering. The interface reaction does not occur in the 3 SiCp/ Fe- 10 Cr composite but in the 3 SiCp/ Fe-5 Cr composite. In the SiCp/ Fe-Cr alloy composites, the interface reaction between SiCp and the Fe- Cr alloys is weaker than that between SiCp and Fe . The Cr element behaves as a diluent, it causes a redaction in the interface reaction, which is proportional to the amount of the element added.

Uniqueness and local stability for the inverse scattering problem of determining the cavity

Considering a time-harmonic electromagnetic plane wave incident on an arbitrarily shaped open cavity embedded in infinite ground plane, the physical process is modelled by Maxwell's equations. We investigate the inverse problem of determining the shape of the open cavity from the information of the measured scattered field. Results on the uniqueness and the local stability of the inverse problem in the 2-dimensional TM (transverse magnetic) polarization are proved in this paper.

The complementary DNA （cDNA） amplified fragment length polymorphism technique wasused to isolate transcript-derived fragments corresponding to genes involved in the flowering of tea *** sequence analysis of an approximately 300 bp differential fragment amplified by primer combi-nation E11M11revealed 80%-84% similarity to the corresponding part of an α-tubulin gene of other *** complete cDNA sequence of this α-tubulin was cloned by the rapid amplification of cDNA ends technique;its full length is 1537 bp and contains an open reading frame of 450 amino acid residues with two N-glycosylation sites and four protein kinase C phosphorylation *** deduced amino acid sequences didshow significant homology to the α-tubulin from other plants that has been reported to be a pollen-specificprotein and could be correlated with plant cytoplasm-nucleus-interacted male *** named this completecDNA *** nucleotide and amino acid sequence data of Tual have been recorded in the GenBanksequence database with the accession *** Tual gene was cloned into the pET-32aexpression system and expressed in Escherichia coli BL21trxB（DE3）.The molecular weight of expressedprotein was deduced to be approximately 49 *** blot analysis was used to identify the temporalexpression of Tual in tea *** studies of the effect of Tual protein on pollen tube growth indicatedthe Tual solution obviously promoted the growth of tea pollen tube.

Alterations in circadian rhythms of melaton in and cortisol in patients with bronchial asthma

AIM: To investigate the possible relationships between alterations in circadian rhythm of melatonin, cortisol andbronchial asthma. METHODS: Salivary melatonin and cortisol were measured simultaneously by radioimmunoas-say in 10 mild intermittent or persistent patients, 11 moderate-to-severe persistent asthma patients, and 15 controlsubjects. Twelve salivary samples were collected in a series during a 24-h period in each subject. RESULTS: Theresults showed overall lower levels of salivary melatonin in asthma patients compared with control subject(P24-h mean level of salivary cortisol was greatly lower and the acrophase was markedly delayedin patients with mild intermittent or persistent asthma (P<0.01) and moderate-to-severe persistent asthma (P<0.05, P<0.01) compared with control subject. CONCLUSION: Disordered circadian rhythms of salivary melato-nin and cortisol were found in asthma patients, which may be involved in the pathogenesis of bronchial asthma.
