Effect of electrolytes on electrochemical properties of graphene sheet covered with polypyrrole thin layer

Graphene sheet(GS) was successfully covered with a polypyrrole(PPy) thin layer through in situ chemical oxidative polymerization of pyrrole monomers in aqueous solution by using GS as a support material and ferric trichloride as an *** resulting nanocomposite was studied by field emission scanning electron microscopy(FE-SEM),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR) and electrical measurements,including cyclic voltammetry(CV),galvanostatic charge/discharge experiment (GCD),and impedance spectroscopy(EIS).It has been found that the nanocomposite exhibited a typically curved and layer-like structure,and conformational change of PPy chains occurred due to the n-n stacking interaction between the graphitic structures in GS and aromatic rings of the PPy *** attention was paid to the effect of electrolytes on electrochemical properties of the nanocomposites,as expected,electrochemical performance was dependent on the nature of the electrolyte,and the neutral electrolytes containing alkali metal ions were found to be very suitable for GS/PPy *** with the pure PPy,the nanocomposite possessed larger specific capacitance and lower internal impedance,indicating that the nanocomposite can be a promising candidate as electrode material for supercapacitors.

Besides gas sensitivity,NASICON （Na super ion conductor） material has luminescence *** this paper,the photoluminescence properties of NASICON and doped-NASICON material are *** NASICON material was synthesized by conventional sol-gel process,and doped with Er2O3,Tm2O3,Dy2O3,CsCl by 1%,3%,5% （mass ratio）,*** ultraviolet light （325 nm,He-Cd laser） excited luminescent emissions of the resulted powders are recorded *** in the 330 nm to 650 nm *** main peak of the pure NASICON is found at the wavelength of 474 nm （blue light）,the transition energy is 2.616 *** luminescent intensity is weakened obviously after doping with Er2O3and Tm2O3,but is increased after doping with Dy2O3and 3% CsCl.

A theoretical analysis of an ultra-short pulse converted to Terahertz radiation via optical rectification in nonlinear optical crystal is presented here;several factors that affect optical-to-THz conversion efficiencies are discussed;pulse durations affect the conversion efficiency effectively:when crystal length is equal to the optimal crystal length lc,optical-to-THz conversion efficiency is the highest,but for the periodically-inverted electro-optic crystals,conversion efficiency is almost proportional to the crystal length when absorption can be *** account of the absorption of crystals,effective length of crystal is Leff=0.63/α,there is no apparent increase of conversion efficiency and the conversion efficiency approaches to a constant eventually when the crystal length is increased.

A pig BAC library was constructed with genomic DNA from a male Erhualian pig. After partial digestion with HindⅢor BamHⅠthe fragments obtained were cloned into the pBeloBAC11 vector. The library consists of 184320 clones which stored in 480 pieces 384-well plates (20 plates per superpool). A two-step 4-dimension PCR screening system was established to screen the positive clones. An average insert size of 128 kb was estimated from 105 randomly isolated clones, which indicates that the library is more than five times of genomic coverage. For the demonstration of the probability to pick out any unique genes or DNA markers from the library, 10 single-copy genes were screened out and the positive clones were yielded between 1 and 8 with an average of 3.6. Positive superpools were obtained for 32 microsatellite markers selected from different regions of pig genome. The number of positive superpools for each marker varies from 1 to 9 with an average of 4.78. This BAC library provides an additional resource for pig physical mapping and gene identifica-

Objectives:To explore the role of Toll-like receptor 4(TLR4) and immunomodulatory hormones played in bovine ***:The bovine endometrial epithelial cell line BEnEpC was used in the *** BEnEpCs were contaminated by ***,BenEpCs were randomly divided into several groups according to the different concentration of 17-p estradiol(E2) 1treatment and the different stimulation,lipopoly saccharide(LPS) or lipoteichoic acid(LTA).The expressions of TLR4 mRNA and COX-2 were determined by quantitative real-time PCR(qRT-PCR).And PGF and PGE were evaluated by radioimmunoassay. Results:A significant difference was observed in TLR4 expression of bacterial contaminated BEnEpCs among low, middle and high-dose E2 treated group(p 2 and COX-2 mRNA expression in BEnEpCs among low,middle and high-dose E2 treated group(p 2 and COX-2 mRNA expression was achieved in the LPS-stimulated BEnEpCs compared with those stimulated with LTA. Conclusions:Our findings suggested that TLR4 was activated in bovine endometritis,and then led to more prostaglandin production as regulation of local inflammatory’ response,however,this response was dependent on and influenced by the immunomodulatory hormones.

Expression of the Tribolium castaneum (Coleoptera: Tenebrionidae) hsp83 gene and its relation to oogenesis during ovarian maturation

Heat shock proteins （HSP） can protect organisms and cells from thermal damage. In this study, we cloned the full length cDNA encoding the HSP83 protein （the homologue of HSP90） of Tribolium castaneum（red flour beetle）. The isolated cDNA contains the full coding sequence, a partial 5＇ untranslated region of 55 bp and the complete 3＇ untranslated region. We found the hsp83 gene is located on chromosome 5 of the T. castaneum genome. The predicted HSP83 protein sequence has a high similarity （on average 86.77%） with that of other insect species. The expression of the hsp83 gene in the whole body and in the ovary could be induced with heat stress （40℃ for 1 h） in newly hatched （within 3 h post emergence） and mature （10 days post emergence） beetles. Under normal conditions, the hsp83 expression in the ovary is about 3-fold higher than in the whole body at both stages. No significant difference in hsp83 expression was observed between the two ovarian developmental stages regardless if the beetles were treated with heat shock or not. The expression of the HSP83 protein in the whole body could also be induced with heat stress in newly hatched and mature beetles. However, in the ovary, HSP83 was only expressed in the follicle cells of mature beetles and not in newly hatched beetles, regardless if the beetles were treated with heat shock or not. Furthermore, the females were not able to produce mature oocytes after knock-down of the hsp83 expression by injecting dsRNA. These results suggest that the HSP83 protein is involved in protection against heat stress and could be involved in oogenesis during ovarian maturation of T. castaneum.

Dynamic damage and stress-strain relations of ultra-high performance cementitious composites subjected to repeated impact

Ultra-high performance cementitious composites (UHPCC) were prepared by replacing 60% of cement with ultra-fine industrial waste *** dynamic damage and compressive stress-strain relations of UHPCC were studied using split Hopkinson pressure bar (SHPB).The damage of UHPCC subjected to repeated impact was measured by the ultrasonic pulse velocity *** show that the dynamic damage of UHPCC increases linearly with impact times and the abilities of repeated impact resistance of UHPCC are improved with increasing fiber volume *** stress waves on impact were recorded and the average stress,strain and strain rate of UHPCC were calculated based on the wave propagation *** effects of strain rate,fibers volume fraction and impact times on the stress-strain relations of UHPCC were *** show that the peak stress and elastic modulus decrease while the strain rate and peak strain increase gradually with increasing impact times.

Effect of Zn^(2+) Content on the Microstructure and Magnetic Properties of Nanocrystalline Ni_(1-x)Zn_xFe_2O_4 Ferrite by a Spraying-coprecipitation Method

Nanocrystalline Ni1-xZnxFe2O4 ferrites with 0≤x≤1 were successfully prepared by a spraying-coprecipitation *** microstructure was investigated by using XRD and *** properties were measured with vibrating sample magnetometer（VSM） at room *** results show that the grain size of nanocrystalline Ni1-xZnxFe2O4 ferrite calcined at 600 ℃ for 1.5 h is about 30 *** parameter and specific saturation magnetization Ms of nanocrystalline Ni1-xZnxFe2O4 ferrite increase with the Zn^2＋ ions content at room temperature,and maximum Ms is 66.8 A·m^2·kg^-1 as the Zn^2＋ ions content is around 0.5,and coercivity Hc of the nanocrystalline Ni1-xZnxFe2O4 ferrite decreases with Zn^2＋ ions content.

Effect of Fe Particle on the Surface Peeling in Cu-Fe-P Lead Frame

Under the surface peeling of Cu- Fe- P lead frame alloy larger Fe particles were observed by energy dispersive spectroscopy. By using the large strain two-dinension plane strain model and elastic plastic finite element method, the cause for peeling damage of Cu-Fe-P lead frame aUoy was investigated. The results show that when the content of Fe particles is more than 30% at local Fe-rich area the intense stress coacentration in the Fe particle would make the Fe particle broken up. The high equivalent stress mutation and the mismatch of equivalent strain 10% at the two sides of intefrace make it easy to develop the crack and peeling damage on finish rolling. The larger Fe particles in the Cu-Fe-P alloy should be avoided.

Three-dimensional elasticity solution of simple-supported rectangular plate on point supports, line supports and elastic foundation

This paper studies the bending of simple-supported rectangular plate on point supports, line supports and elastic foundation. On the basis of three-dimensional elasticity theory, the exact expressions of the displacement functions, which satisfy the governing differential equations and the simply supported boundary conditions at four edges of the plate, are analytically derived. The reaction forces of the in- termediate supports are regarded as the unknown external forces acting on the lower surface of the plate. The unknown coefficients are then determined by the boundary conditions on the upper and lower surfaces of the plate. Comparing the numerical results obtained from the proposed method to those obtained from Kirchhoff plate theory, Mindlin plate theory and those obtained from the commer- cial finite element software ANSYS, the high accuracy of the present method has been demonstrated.
