＜正＞ This paper discusses the issue of pollution reduction in metropolises by means of intelligent negotiation in multi-agent systems. For situations of complete information, it gives a stochastic hill-climbing search algorithm for computing the pollution-reduction solutions;For situations of incomplete information, it puts forward a genetic algorithm for computing the best solutions for every plants subjectively and proposes market-mechanism-based algorithm for computing the emission-redistribution solutions objectively.

Eosinophilic oesophagitis(EoE) and gastro-oesophageal reflux disease(GORD) are the most common causes of chronic oesophagitis and dysphagia associated with oesophageal mucosal eosinophilia. Distinguishing between the two is imperative but challenging due to overlapping clinical and histological features. A diagnosis of EoE requires clinical, histological and endoscopic correlation whereas a diagnosis of GORD is mainly clinical without the need for other investigations. Both entities may exhibit oesophageal eosinophilia at a similar level making a histological distinction between them difficult. Although the term proton-pump inhibitor responsive oesophageal eosinophilia has recently been retracted from the guidelines, a relationship between Eo E and GORD still exists. This relationship is complex as they may coexist, either interacting bidirectionally or are unrelated. This review aims to outline the differences and potential relationship between the two conditions, with specific focus on histology, immunology, pathogenesis and treatment.

AIM： To determine the response of the proxima stomach to small intestinal nutrients in critically ill patients. METHODS： Proximal gastric motility was measured in 13 critically ill patients （49.3 ± 4.7 years） and 12.healthy volunteers （2..7 ± 2.9 years） using a barostat technique. Recordings were performed at baseline, during a 60-rain intra-duodenal infusion of Ensure^R （2.kcal/min）, and for 2.h following the infusion. Minimum distending pressure （MDP）, intra-bag volume and fundic wave activity were determined. RESULTS： The MDP was higher in patients （11.7 ± 1.1 vs 7.8 ± 0.7 mmHg; P 〈 0.01）. Baseline intrabag volumes were similar in the 2.groups. In healthy subjects, a ‘bimodal＇ proximal gastric volume response was observed. In patients, the initial increase in proximal gastric volume was small and delayed, but eventually reached a maximal volume similar to that of healthy subjects. In healthy subjects, the proximal gastric volume rapidly returned to baseline level after nutrient infusion （median 18 min）. In contrast, the recovery of volume to baseline was delayed in critically ill patients （median 106 min）. In 6 patients, the volume had not returned to baseline level 2.hours after nutrient infusion. In patients, fundic volume waves were less frequent （P 〈 0.05） and had lower amplitude （P 〈 0.001）, compared to healthy subjects. COnCLUSIOn： In critical illness, proximal gastric motor responses to small intestinal nutrient stimulation are abnormal.

Objective:The effectiveness of adjuvant treatments for resected gallbladder carcinoma(GBC)has remained unclear due to lack of randomized controlled trials;thus,the aim of present study was to evaluate the role of adjuvant treatments,including chemoradiotherapy(CRT)and/or chemotherapy(CTx),in patients with resected ***:A total of 733 GBC patients who received curative-intent surgical resection were identified in a multi-institutional *** 733 patients,372.50.8%)did not receive adjuvant treatment,whereas 2.5(2..3%)and 146(19.9%)received adjuvant CTx and CRT,*** locoregional recurrence-free survival(LRFS),recurrence-free survival(RFS),and overall survival(OS)of the adjuvant treatment groups were compared according to tumor stage(stage II *** III–IV).Results:In stage II disease(n=381),the 5-year LRFS,RFS,and OS were not significantly different among the no-adjuvant therapy,CTx,and CRT groups,and positive resection margin,presence of perineural invasion,and nx classification were consistently associated with worse LRFS,RFS,and OS in the multivariate analysis(Pn=352.,the CRT group had significantly higher 5-year LRFS,RFS,and OS than the no-adjuvant therapy and CTx groups(67.8%,45.2.,and 56.9%;37.9%,2..8%,and 35.4%;and 45.0%,30.0%,and 45.7%,respectively)(Pnclusions:CRT has value as adjuvant treatment for resected GBC with stage III–IV *** study is needed for stage II disease with high-risk features.

本文在分析农用土地分等、定级目的基础上,以广州市天河区为例探讨了大城市郊区农用土地定级的思路、方法、对象及其参评因素因子体系等,并进行了实际研究。结果表明:大城市郊区农用土地定级:(1)除耕地(主要为菜地)外,定级对象还应包括园地、林地等农用土地类型;(2. 应采用将土地相对稳定和易变两大类因素因子影响作用同时评定并进行综合的方法,而不宜采用对土地分等指数进行易变因素因子订正得到定级指数的做法;(3) 宜采用多种方法并相互比较和印证,从而提高定级结果的精确性。

Antioxidant and anti-glycation activities correlates with phenolic composition of tropical medicinal herbs

To determine the contribution of total phenolic content(TPC) in glycation inhibitory activity of common tropical medicinal food and spices with potential antioxidative properties. Methods:In vitro glucose-bovine serum albumin(BSA) assay was *** extracts of ten common household condiments/herbs(Allium *** *** rulgaris, Petroselinum crispum,Murraya koenigii Spreng,Mentha piperita L.,Curcuma longa L.,Allium cepa L.,Allium fistulosum and Coriandrum sativum L.) were evaluated for antinxidative activity by 2.2.diphenyl-2.picrylhydrazyl(DPPH),and ferric reducing antioxidant power(FRAP) and the *** and tannins content were ***:Findings showed good correlation between TPC/DPPH(r= 0.8).TPC/FRAP(r= 0.8).TPC/Anti-glycation(r=0.9).DPPH/Anti-glycation (r= 0.6),FRAP/Anti-glycation(r = 0.9),Flavonoid/Anti-glycation(r=0.7) and Tannina/Antiglycation (r = 0.8) and relatively fair correlation for TPC/Flavonoids(r = 0.5) and TPC/Tannina(r = 0.5).Results imply that these plants are potential sources of natural antioxidants which have free radical scavenging activity and might be used for reducing oxidative ***:The positive glycation inhibitory and antioxidative activities of these tropical herbs suggest a possible role in targeting ageing,diabetic complications and oxidative stress related diseases.

Diffusivity Models and Greenhouse Gases Fluxes from a Forest,Pasture,Grassland and Corn Field in northern Hokkaido,Japan

Information on the most influential factors determining gas flux from soils is needed in predictive models for greenhouse gases emissions. We conducted an intensive soil and air sampling along a 2.000 m transect extending from a forest, pasture, grassland and corn field in Shizunai, Hokkaido （Japan）, measured CO2. CH4, n2. and nO fluxes and calculated soil bulk density （Pb）, air-filled porosity （fa） and total porosity （Ф）. Using diffusivity models based on either fa alone or on a combination of fa and 4, we predicted two pore space indices： the relative gas diffusion coefficient （Ds/Do） and the pore tortuosity factor （T）. The relationships between pore space indices （Ds/Do and T） and C02. CH4, n2. and nO fluxes were also studied. Results showed that the grassland had the highest Pb while fa and Ф were the highest in the forest. CO2. CH4, n2. and nO fluxes were the highest in the grassland while n2. dominated in the corn field. Few correlations existed between fa, Ф, Pb and gases fluxes while all models predicted that Ds/Do and T significantly correlated with CO2.and CH4 with correlation coefficient （r） ranging from 0.2. to 0.80. Overall, diffusivity models based on fa alone gave higher Ds/Do, lower τ, and higher R2.and better explained the relationship between pore space indices （Ds/Do and τ） and gases fluxes. Inclusion of Ds/Do and τ in predictive models will improve our understanding of the dynamics of greenhouse gas fluxes from soils. Ds/Do and τ can be easily obtained by measurements of soil air and water and existing diffusivity models.

Meshless Method for Analysis of Permeable Breakwaters in the Proximity of A Vertical Wall

In the present work, the improved version of the meshless singular boundary method(ISBM) is developed for analyzing the performance of bottom standing submerged permeable breakwaters in regular normally incident waves and in the proximity of a vertical wall. Both single and dual prismatic breakwaters of rectangular and trapezoidal forms are examined. The physical problem is cast in terms of the Laplace equation governing an irrotational flow and incompressible fluid motion with appropriate mixed type boundary conditions, and solved numerically using the ISBM. To model the permeability of the breakwaters fully absorbing boundary conditions are assumed. numerical results are presented in terms of hydrodynamic quantities of the reflection coefficients. These are firstly validated against the results of a multi-domain boundary element method(BEM) developed independently for a previous study. The agreement between the results of the two methods is excellent. The coefficients of reflection are then computed and discussed for a variety of structural conditions including the breakwaters height, width, spacing, and absorbing permeability. Effects of the proximity of the vertical plane wall are also investigated. The breakwater's width is found to have only marginal effects compared with its height. Permeability tends to decrease the minimum reflections. These coefficients show periodic variations with the spacing relative to the wavelength. Trapezoidal breakwaters are found to be more cost-effective than the rectangular breakwaters. Dual breakwater systems are confirmed to perform much better than single structures.
