In order to research the possibility of digital close-range photogrammetric surveying in small scale physical simulation experiment, physical model coinciding with engineering practice was constructed based on similar theory. The datum processing method and surveying precision of digital close-range photogrammetric were analyzed. And the function relationship between overburden subsidence factor qr and the ratio z/H of stratum horizon z and mining depth H was researched. The results show that surveying points position mean error along horizontal direction is ±0.131 mm and vertical direction is ±0.192.mm. Therefore, multi-taking station cross direction digital close-range photogrammetric can completely satisfy the precision need of physical simulation experiment. And the empirical formula can be utilized to represent evolution law of stratum subsidence factor.

In mining industries no mines are identical and each mine has its own unique set of mining conditions. In order to study thecondition of mines for efficiency, safety and economy reasons, a fuzzy model is presented based on fuzzy evaluation. Relevant data fromfive mines were collected and the model was used to evaluate the mining condition of these mines. The evaluation results are in conformity with the real situation.

An algorithm, Clustering Algorithm Based On Sparse Feature Vector (CABOSFV),was proposed for the high dimensional clustering of binary sparse data. This algorithm compressesthe data effectively by using a tool 'Sparse Feature Vector', thus reduces the data scaleenormously, and can get the clustering result with only one data scan. Both theoretical analysis andempirical tests showed that CABOSFV is of low computational complexity. The algorithm findsclusters in high dimensional large datasets efficiently and handles noise effectively.

The present status of deep sea bed mining technology for polymetallic nodules has been critically examined in light of its history of development the UNCLoS (the United Nation Convention on the Law of the Sea) regime and the current trends in *** critical technologies have been highlighted and the need for system integration underscored. The deep sea bed environment and the {2. challenge were presented and the necessary features of the deep sea bed mining system for commercial mining was analyzed. The key accomplishments, problems and future bends in research in the development of the mining system are also discussed. Finally, it points out that the technology gaps can be filled by the bine commercial mining is undertaken as a result of market conditions in its favor.

Silica is the major component of the acid leaching residue of asbestos tailing. The waterglass solution can be prepared by the reaction of the residue with sodium hydroxide aqueous solution. Compared to the high temperature reaction method, this process is environmental friendly and low cost. In this paper, the reaction process of the residue and the sodium hydroxide aqueous solution is optimized. The optimum reaction process parameters are as follows: the usage of sodium hydroxide is 2..4 g/100 g acid leaching residue, the reaction temperature is 90℃, the reaction time is 1 h, and the ratio of the liquid/solid is 2.0. The significance sequence of the process parameters to the alkali leaching reaction effect is the usage of sodium hydroxide > the ratio of the liquid/solid > the reaction time > the reaction temperature. The significance sequence to the leaching ratio of SiO2.is the ratio of the liquid/solid > the usage of sodium hydroxide > the reaction time > the reaction temperature. The significance sequence to the modulus of the sodium silicate is the ratio of the liquid/solid > the usage of sodium hydroxide > the reaction time > the reaction temperature. Under the optimum conditions, the leaching ratio of the SiO2.is 77.5%, and the modulus of the sodium silicate is 3.15. The XRD analysis result indicates that the major components of the alkali leaching residue are serpentine, talc, quartz and some albite.

By comprehensively analyzing the data of geology and mining, Kriging algorithm was introduced to analyze the thematic information of geological data, to rapidly extract mining parameters for predicting mining subsidence, and to effectively integrate geomorphology and predict information. As a result, the change information of water body is successfully detected from the prediction of surface subsidence due to mining activity. Analysis shows that the elevation of farmland in the west side of water body will be lower than ever, and the west part farmland will be submerged. However, there is no evidence for impacting the villages. All the information provides a reference for efficiently assessing environmental impact due to mining activity, which can help to govern the subsidence of the area reasonably.

Effect of Preparation Methods on Mechanical Properties of PVA/HA Composite Hydrogel

Poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA)/hydroxyapatite (HA) composite hydrogel specimens were prepared with 15% PVA and 1%,2., 3%, 4% and 5% HA by repeated freezing-thawing. The tests of static and dynamic mechanical properties were carried out todiscuss the influence of different contents of HA and freezing-thawing cycles on the mechanical properties of PVA/HA compositehydrogel. The results of static mechanical tests showed that the PVA/HA composite hydrogel with 3% HA and ninefreezing-thawing cycles had excellent stress relaxation properties, higher relaxation ratio, lower stress equilibrium value andpresented better properties of creep and recovery. The results of dynamic mechanical test showed that the PVA/HA compositehydrogel with nine freezing-thawing cycles had higher storage modulus and loss modulus, so was the PVA/HA compositehydrogel with 3% HA.

Jinchuan nickel mine is the largest nickel mine in china. Cut-and-fill mining method with high density cementing materials is used in the mine. The original mining design divided the mining operation into two steps. The first step stopped the mining rooms and the second step stopped the pillars. Because the two-step method made big trouble for finally mining pillars and strongly limited the mining speed and production, it was successfully changed to a continuous cut-and-fill method without pillars. However, the mining operation in the mine has been down to 800 m and the mining condition is getting worse and more complicated. Through systematical field investigations and 3-D FEM analysis, it is proved that the mining method without pillars is feasible for mining deeper orebodies in Jinchuan nickel mine.

Flue gas pollution is a serious environmental problem that needs to be solved for the sustainable development of *** surface chemical properties of carbon have great influence on its desulphurization performance.A series of activated carbons (ACs) were prepared using HNO3,H2.2.NH3·H2. and steam as activation agents with the aim to introduce functional groups to carbon surface in the ACs preparation *** ACs were physically and chemically characterized by iodine and SO2.adsorption,ultimate analysis,Boehm titration,and temperature-programmed reduction (TPR).Results showed that the iodine number and desulphurization capacity of NH3·H2. activated carbon (AC-NH3) increase with both activation time,and its desulphurization capacity also increases with the concentration of activation ***,HNO3 activated carbon (AC-HNO3) and H2.2.activated carbon (AC-H2.2. exhibit more complex *** their iodine numbers increase monotonously with activation *** with steam activated AC (AC-H2.),the nitrogen content increases 0.2.2. in AC-NH3 and 0.077% in *** amount of total basic site on AC-HNO3 is 0.19 mmol·g-1 higher than that on AC-H2..H2.2.activation introduces an additional 0.08 mmol·g-1 carboxyl groups to AC surface than that introduced by steam *** desulphurization capacity of ACs in simulate flue gas desulphurization decreases as follows: AC-NH3 > AC-HNO3 > AC-H2.2.> *** sequence is in accord with the SO2.catalytic oxidation/oxidation ratio in the absence of oxygen and the oxidation property reflected by *** the presence of oxygen,all adsorbed SO2.on ACs can be oxidized into *** desulphurization capacity increases differently according to the activation agents;the desulphurization capacity of AC-NH3 and AC-HNO3 improves by 4.8 times,yet AC-H2. increases only by 2.62.as compared with the desulphurization of corresponding ACs in absence of oxygen.
