Seryl-Histidine dipeptide(Ser-His) has been previously reported to be capable of cleaving DNAs and carboxyl esters,as well as *** protein cleavage mechanism has not been addressed *** an initial step of protein cleavage activity,the non-covalent binding affinity of Ser-His for proteins is a crucial *** this work,we took cyclophilin A(CyPA) as a substrate protein,and evaluated the non-covalent interaction between CyPA and Ser-His using a combination of NMR spectroscopy and molecular modeling *** independent Ser-His binding sites on CyPA were detected using 15N-1H heteronuclear single-quantum coherence(HSQC) *** binding site binds one Ser-His *** constants,Kd1 and Kd2.were estimated to be 2.07 and 6.66 mmol/L,respectively,indicative of the weak non-covalent interaction between Ser-His and *** on molecular modeling results,we suggest that both the α-amino and the side chain hydroxyl group of Ser-His are crucial for the non-covalent interaction between Ser-His and *** work sheds light on the molecular mechanism of Ser-His and its analogues cleaving proteins.

The newly developed multi-protocol label switching transport profile （MPLS-TP） fails to actively alarm the fault in advance when conducting restoration in network, or to avoid the false-alarm when equipped with the active-fault-alarm （AFA） to support carrier-grade reliability. In order to solve this problem, a new AFA based pre-restoration mechanism （AFABPRM） is proposed for MPLS-TP controlled optical network, along with the three levels quality-of-service （QoS） based shortest path first rerouting algorithm （TQ-SPF） in this article. The AFABPRM takes full advantage of the AFA technologies, and can solve the false-alarm problem. analytical and experimental results suggest the better performances of the new mechanism when compared restoration mechanism with or without AFA function, and show that the AFABPRM can solve the false-alarm problem efficiently.

In this study,an experimental agricultural catchment of Wuchuan,with an area of 9.4km,and a nested smallcatchment,with an area of 1.7 km,were selected for investigating nitrogen(N)sources and export in *** that the mean N input rate over the big catchment was 471.5kg/ha,and 42..4kg/ha over the small one in *** portion of the N entered the catchment was not eventually applied to surface soil of agricultural *** N fromanimal manure and domestic wastes was deposited partially in the residential lands of the three villages,or volatilized ***,a high N input rate was observed in the residential lands of the three villages and the river *** N export rate from the big catchment in stormflows was 2..8 kg/ha in 2.02.compared to a smaller value of 2..8kg/ha from the nested *** is obvious that the bigger N export rate from the large catchment resulted from both the largerwater flows and the higher N concentration through the *** the N sources and export in these catchmentscan provide a knowledge base for remediation of agricultural diffuse pollution.

This paper reports a series solution of wave functions for two-dimensional scattering and diffraction of plane SH waves induced by a symmetrical V-shaped canyon with different shape ratios. A half-space with a symmetrical V-shaped canyon is divided into two sub-regions by using a circular-arc auxiliary boundary. The two sub-regions are represented by global and local cylindrical coordinate systems, respectively. In each coordinate system, the wave field satisfying the Helmholtz equation is represented by the separation of variables method, in terms of the series of both Bessel functions and Hankel functions with unknown complex coefficients. Then, the two wave fields are described in the local coordinate system using the Graf addition theorem. Finally, the unknown coefficients are sought by satisfying the continuity conditions of the auxiliary boundary. To consider the phase characteristics of the wave scattering, a parametric analysis is carried out in the time domain by assuming an incident signal of the Ricker type. Surface and subsurface transient responses demonstrate the characteristics and mechanisms of wave propagating and scattering.

Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) encoded latent membrane protein 1 (LMP1) is considered to be the major oncogenic protein of EBV encoded proteins, and also it has always been the core of the oncogenic mechanism of EBV. Traditional receptor theory demonstrates that cell surface receptors exert biological functions on the membrane, which neither enter into the nucleus nor directly affect the transcription of the target genes. But, advanced studies on nuclear transloca-tion of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) family have greatly developed our knowl-edge of the biological function of cell surface receptors. In this study, we used Tet-on LMP1 HNE2.cell line as a cell model, which is a dual-stable LMP1 integrated NPC cell line and the ex-pression of LMP1 in which could be regulated by Tet system. We found that LMP1 could regulate the nuclear translocation of EGFR in a dose-dependent manner from both quantitative and qualitative levels through the Western blot analysis and the immunofluorescent analysis with a laser scanning confocal microscope. We further demonstrated that the nuclear localization se-quence of EGFR played some roles in the location of the protein within the nucleus under LMP1 regulation, and the nuclear accumulation of EGFR regulated by LMP1 was in a ligand-independent manner. These findings provide a novel view that the regulation of LMP1 on the nuclear translocation of EGFR is critical for the process of nasopharyngeal carcinoma.

1997年8月、1998年2.3月和1998年8月,调查分析了台湾海峡微微型浮游植物的时空分布(平面、垂直、总日和季节)及其调控机制。结果表明,微微型浮游植物丰度的平面分布不均匀,各类群具有不同的密集区,并存在明显的地理差异,垂直分布存在6种模式,以标准单峰和弱单峰为主,分布类型的多样化是由于微微型浮游植物固有的垂直分布模式和研究海域复杂的地形及水动力(如跃层等)条件相互作用的结果,微微型浮游植物的丰度存在明显的随时间变化现象;在季节变化方面,各类群存在较为明显的差异,温度是影响台湾海峡微微型浮游植物平面分布的重要因子,而光辐照度、温盐跃层是影响垂直分布的重要因子,微微型浮游植物不同类群在时空分布上存在“位移”现象,此与不同类群对温度敏感性不同、对光的利用能力不同以及生存空间的互补性等因素有关。

Trace of Pb(Ⅱ) has been on-line separated and enriched from environmental samples and wastewater by using the self-made alizarin violet functionalized silica gel micro-column coupling with a sequential injection sampling technology. The determination is based on the color reaction of Pb(Ⅱ) with iodide and crystal violet to form an ionic association complex in the presence of polyvinyl alcohol and hydrochloric acid. The use of the microcolumn can prevent the interference of most familiar metal ions, and therefore improve the selectivity and sensitivity of this analytical technique. The proposed method was used for the determination of Pb(Ⅱ) in environmental samples and wastewater. No statistically significant difference was observed between the results determined by the present method and atomic absorption spectrometry.
