The development of functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMrI) technology has made it possible to carry out functional brain imaging experiments in small animals. Usually, group data is required to form the assessment of population, which can not only increase the sensitivity of the overall experiment, but also allow the generalization of the conclusion to the whole population. In order to average the signals of functional brain images from different subjects, it is necessary to put all the mapping images into the same standard space (template image). However, up to now, most animal brain templates remain unavailable and it must be done by ourselves. In this study, a template image based on the brains of eight male Wistar rats is obtained, and it is successfully used in our present Alzheimer disease (AD)-like rat model studies as template for spatially normalizing images to the same stereotaxical space. The fMrI results processed with statistical parametric mapping (SPM99) software are in agreement with the results from immunohistochemical experiment, which proves that this method is universally applicable to the pathologic models of other small animals and to human brain lesion studies.

The Properties of Solution Precursor Plasma Spray Nanostructured Thermal Barrier Coatings

About 3.0 μm thickness uniform thermal barrier coatings （TBCs） were deposited on the 1Cr18Ni9Ti samples by solution precursor plasma spray （SPPS）.The analysis methods,such as TEM,SEM,and XrD were used to characterize the coatings in the aspects of microstructure and phase *** samples were quenched from 112. ℃ to room temperature by forced-air to measure the thermal cycling *** density were measured by means of water *** experimental results show that grain size of the SPPS TBCs is about 3. nm with desired tetragonal phase ZrO2.and the SPPS TBCs（with 16% porosity） consist of arcuate pores,gelatin and melted *** hardness of the coatings is Hr45Y3..5 and bond strength between coatings and substrates is 2..2.*** thermal shock test show the coatings have a average life of 500 cycles which is about 2.5 times than that of conventional air plasma spray （APS） TBCs.

A new family of windows is constructed by convolutions via a few rectangular windows with same time width and is thus referred to as convolution windows. The expressions of the second-order up to the eighth-order convolution windows in both the time and frequency domains are derived. Their applications in high accuracy harmonic analysis of periodic signals are investigated. Comparisons between the proposed windows and some known windows with the same width shows that, when the synchronous deviation of data sampling is slight, the proposed ones have the least effect of spectral leakage. Therefore, the new windows are well suited for high accuracy harmonic analysis and parameter estimation for periodic signals. The error analysis and computer simulations show that the estimation errors, corresponding to frequency, amplitude and phase of every harmonic component of a signal, are proportional to the pth power of the relative frequency deviation in case of the pth-order convolution window is applied to windowing signal of approximately p cycles. By introducing real time adjustment in sampling interval, the proposed algorithm can adaptively trace signal frequency and lead to less sampling synchronous deviation. The proposed approach has the advantages of easy implementation and high measure precision and can be used in harmonic analysis of quasi-periodic signals whose fundamental frequency drifts slowly with time.

Aim: To investigate the anticancer effects and the molecular mechanisms of deguelin on human U93. leukemia cells, and to explore the underlying mechanism regulating nucleoporin 98 （Nup98） and nucleoporin 88 （Nup88） in vitro. Methods: The effects of deguelin on the growth of U93. cells were studied by MTT assay. The effect of deguelin on the cell cycle of U93. cells was studied by using a propidium iodide method. The localization of the nuclear pore complex proteins Nup98 and Nup88 was investigated by using immunofluorescence and immunoelectron microscopy. The expression of Nup98 and Nup88 in U93. cells was investigated by using flow cytometry and Western blot. results: The prolif eration of U93. cells was inhibited in the deguelin-treated group, with a 2.-h IC50value of 2..61 nmol/L and a 3.-h IC50value of 17.07 nmol/L. U93. cells treated with deguelin had reduced percentages of cells in the G0/G1phase, whereas cells accumulated in the S and G2.M phases. Nup88 and Nup98 were found on both the nuclar and cytoplasmic sides of the U93. cells by using immunofluorescence and immunoelectron microscopy. The expression of Nup98 was upregulated and that of the Nup88 protein was downregulated in U93. cells treated with deguelin. Conclusion: Deguelin is able to inhibit the proliferation of U93. cells by regulating the cell cycle such that cells are arrested at the S and G2.M phases, so that the proportion of cells in the G0/G1phase decreases. The antitumor effects of deguelin are related to upregulating the expression of Nup98 and downregulating the expression of Nup88 protein in U93. cells.

In this study, a series of acrylic ester resins with different pore size distribution were prepared successfully by varying the type and the amount of pore-forming agents. In order to inves-tigate the adsorption behavior and mechanism of surfactants on acrylic ester resins, three kinds of surfactants were utilized as adsorbates that were sodium 6-dodecyl benzenesulfonate (6-NaDBS), sodium 1-dodecyl benzene sulfonate (1-NaDBS) and sodium 1-dodecyl sulfonate, respectively. It was observed that the surface area was available in a particular pore size and an appropriate pore size of resins appeared to be more important for the adsorption of surfactants. As compared to commercial acrylic ester resins XAD-7 and HP2.G, 50# and 3.# resins exhibited more excellent adsorption properties toward 1-NaDBS and 6-NaDBS. The experimental equilibrium data were fitted to the Langmuir, and double-Langmuir models. Two models provided very good fittings for all resins over the temperature range studied. The investigation indicated that electrostatic attraction and hydrogen bond between resins and surfactants were the main forces and had an obvious effect on adsorption proc-ess.

Indoor imitation experimental study on driving factors of rainfall-runoff process

The driving actions of rainfall-runoff process can be attributed to two aspects. The first is the influence of precipitation process, and the second is that of the ground pad. The re- search results of 179 indoor experiments conducted to imitate rainfall-runoff process indicate that both precipitation duration and intensity play important roles in affecting confluence lag time, which is obviously inconsistent with the traditional hypotheses. The nonlinear relationship is of great significance to the confluence curve especially when the precipitation duration is less than the total confluence time or the precipitation intensity is small. Therefore it can be concluded that the unit hydrograph (UH) can be applied to rainfall-runoff process imitation in the humid areas in the south china region. However, the UH application should be strictly modified in accordance with precipitation conditions in the arid and semiarid region of north china where the precipitation duration is short and the intensity is unstable. It will be hard to get ideal imitation results if the UH is applied blindly without considering specific conditions in the north china region. This also explains the unsatisfactory imitation results caused by using various hydrological models in the north china region. When the precipitation duration is short, and the watershed has not reached total watershed concentration, the characteristics of confluence change greatly, which reflects the actual situation in the north china region. Therefore necessary nonlinear corrections should be made when UH is applied. If the duration is longer than the total confluence time and the balance between pondage and discharge is stricken, the imitation research results will be applicable to both rainfall-runoff relation with longer duration in the south china region and the basic theoreti- cal research on runoff generation and concentration. The Influence of Additives on Crystallization of Polyvinyl Chloride

Acetanilide, adipic acid and potassium hydrogen phthalate were chosen as nucleating agents of polyvinyl chloride（PVC）, and their effects on PVC crystallization were studied by differential scanning calorimetry, wide angle X-ray diffraction and fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The experimental results indicate that all of the three additives are compatible with PVC to some extent, but adipic acid＇s compatibility with PVC is less satisfactory. The three additives can improve PVC crystallinity, and acetanilide can decrease PVC glass transition temperature（T）and narrow PVC melting range, while adipic acid and potassium hydrogen phthalate rise T of PVC and widen its melting range. All additives do not affect PVC crystal system and all g samples are in orthorhombic system. All additives can improve （2.0）, （110）, （2.0） and （2.1, 111） planes growing. Moreover, acetanilide and adipic acid can shrink PVC spacings and improve the crystal perfection of PVC, but potassium hydrogen phthalate swells spacings and reduces the perfection of PVC crystal.
