BACKGROUND: Atrophy of skeletal muscle is found under the condition of muscular disuse or in the process of fixation. It is affected by fixation, and electromyogram (EMG) discharge and muscular strength levels will be significantly decreased with accelerating tendency. Electrical stimulation (ES) therapy can release the velocity of muscular disuse atrophy effectively, so it is an effective method for preventing and treating muscular disuse atrophy and accelerating rehabilitation velocity following removal of fixation. OBJECTIVE: To observe the effect of ES therapy at different time points following the fixation of rat models of muscular disuse atrophy on muscular strength and EMG of quadriceps femoris. DESIGN: A randomized and controlled animal experiment. SETTING: Department of Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy, guangzhou General Hospital of guangzhou Military Area Command of Chinese PLA; College of Sports Science,{2.. MATERIALS: Male SD rats, of clean grade, aged 4 months old, weighing (2.0±10) g, were provided by the Animal Experimental Center of Sun Yat-sen university. EMG measurement and analysis system (NEC Company, Japan) and four-channel recorder (NEC Company, Japan) were used in this experiment. METHODS: This experiment was carried out in the Laboratory of Human Sports Science,{2. between September 2.03 and March 2.04. Totally 12. successful SD rat models of muscular disuse atrophy were randomly divided into 5 groups with 2. rats in each by a lot: normal control group, in which, the rats were untouched; ES 2. hours, 1, 2.and 3 weeks groups: the knees of rats in these four groups were fixed. Rats in four groups underwent ES therapy at 2. hours, 1, 2.and 3 weeks after fixation. T90-Ⅱ computer ES muscular strength training instrument was used in ES therapy every other day. To improve the performance, the surface of 12.n2.4 was coated with very fine MgO , Al2.3 and ZnO by solgel method, respectively. The structure and morphology of the coated materials were investigated by X-ray diffraction （ XRD ）, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy （ XPS ） and scanning electron microscopy （SEM）. The charge and discharge performance of uncoated and surfnce modified 12.n2.4 spinel at 2.℃ and 55 ℃ were tested, using a voltage window of 3.0-4.35 V and a current deasity of 0. 1 C rate. There is a slight decrease in the initial discharge capacity relative to that of uncoated UMn2.O4, bat the cycle ability of 12.12.n2.4 coated by metal-oxide has remarkably been improved. The EIS measuremeuts of uncoated and Al2.3 -coated 12.n2.4 were carried out by a model 2.3 A potentiostatl galvanistat controUed by a computer using M2.0 software, and using a freqnency response analyzer （ Zsimpwin ） combined with a potentiostate （ PAR 2.3）. Coaseqnently, the reason for the improved cycle properties is that the surface modification reduces the dissolution of Mn , which results from the suppression of the electrolyte decomposition, and suppresses the formation of passivation film that acts as an electronic insulating layer. In conclusion, the use of surface modification is an effective way to improve the electrochemical performance of 12.n2.4 cathode material for lithium batteries.

The climate over the closed inland Barkol Lake,which is located in northeastern Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region,is significantly influenced by westerly winds *** improve our understanding of past climate processes in westerly wind influenced regions in northwestern china,a 2.0-cm sediment section was retrieved from this *** taking the carbon reservoir effect into consideration,the chronological sequence of this section was reconstructed based on seven conventional radiocarbon dates of bulk samples,and the bottom age of this section was determined to be about 9400 cal a ***-proxy datasets,includingδ18O car,δ13C car of authigenic carbonate,and total organic carbon were examined using wavelet analysis and singular spectrum analysis *** show that the Holocene in the Barkol Lake region can be divided into four stages:(1) a cold and dry early stage before～8000 cal a BP;(2. a moderately warm and wet middle stage between～8000 and 6000 cal a BP;(3) a warm and dry stage,along with a cooling-wetting tendency from 6000 to 2.00 cal a BP;and(4) a fluctuating cooling and wet stage between 2.00-800 cal a BP,and a drier stage since 800 cal a *** general trend of Holocene climatic changes revealed by Barkol Lake sediments was in agreement with that of adjacent *** infer that climatic changes during the Holocene in the Barkol Lake region were influenced not only by high latitudes,especially the North Atlantic region climate,but also tropical low-latitude processes,such as the El Nio/La Nia-southern *** study demonstrates that the enhanced activities of ENSO may have played an important role in climatic changes in northeastern Xinjiang during the *** results also suggest that climatic patterns may be temporally different in the northern Xinjiang area in response to the changing predominant control of either the Westerly or the Asian summer monsoon,depending on the contrast of their relative strengths.

Based on the characteristics of Thin slab casting and rolling (TSCR) process,using test methods such as SEM,EDS and measuring content of inclusions, the influencing factor of controlling inclusions during producing middle and high carbon steel was studied. The technologies of electric furnace smelting, LF refining and controlling inclusions of tundish were proposed. The inclusions control level of middle and high carbon steel in which the carbon content is 0.3-1.0%, The level reached and even exceeded the level of like product producing with conventional process at home and abroad.

In this paper, we investigate the pth moment uniformly asymptotic stability of impulsive stochastic ftmctional differential systems by extending some Razumikhin-type theorems. Based on the Lyapunov functions and Razumikhin techniques, some criteria are established and their applications to impulsive stochastic delay systems are proposed. An illustrative example shows the effectiveness of our results.
