In this paper, to overcome the drawbacks of POT which minimize the reminder, not only the optimal functional with minimal residual is put forward, but also the method of global optimization is used. Under the condition of large reminder, the optimal bases can also be obtained through the method of POTres without the approaching of initial conditions. In addition, compared with local optimization, the advantage of global optimization is remarkable. On the one hand, we can expect that the dynamical system based on the global optimal bases will include more information than the ones based on the local optimal bases, since the global optimal bases are much more precise than the local optimal bases. On the other hand, from the point of view of error, the global optimal bases are independent of the choice of the object functional and the initial bases.

The estimation problem for diffusion coefficients in diffusion processes has been studied in many papers,where the diffusion coefficient function is assumed to be a 1-dimensional bounded Lipschitzian function of the state or the time *** is no previous work for the nonparametric estimation of time-dependent diffusion models where the diffusion coefficient depends on both the state and the *** paper introduces and studies a wavelet estimation of the time-dependent diffusion coefficient under a more general assumption that the diffusion coefficient is a linear growth Lipschitz *** the properties of martingale,we translate the problems in diffusion into the nonparametric regression setting and give the Lr convergence rate.A strong consistency of the estimate is *** this result one can estimate the time-dependent diffusion coefficient using the same structure of the wavelet estimators under any equivalent probability *** example,in finance,the wavelet estimator is strongly consistent under the market probability measure as well as the risk neutral probability measure.

The monomer of phosphorylcholine derivative, O-(5-（2-methacryloxy）-3, 3-dimethyl-3-azapentyl)-O’-（ω-hydroxy-octyl）-phosphatequaternary ammonium salt, was designed and synthesized successfully. It was characterized by the spectra ofHNMR and Mass spectra （ESI+）, and every signal was assigned. Then the lubricating characteristics of the phosphorylcholinederivative were investigated on the tribological setup of ball-oh-flat. The Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene（UHMWPE） flat was rotated against a stainless steel ball with 6 mm diameter. The load was 2.3 N, which corresponded to amaximal Hertz contact pressure of 29 MPa. Water, phosphorylcholine derivative, and Acrylic Acid （AA） solution were used aslubricants, respectively. Compared with AA, the phosphorylcholine derivative shows significant lubrication. It can be stronglyhydrated under water due to the charged segment in chemical structure. The thick water layers within the chains serves asboundary lubricants, and this is thought to be the molecular origins of lubricating behavior.

An adaptive version of immersed boundary method for simulating flows with complex stationary and moving boundaries is *** method employs a ghost-cell methodology which allows for a sharp representation of the immersed *** simplify the implementation of the methodology,a volume-of-fluid method is introduced to identify the immersed *** addition,the domain is spatially discretized using a tree-based discretization which is relatively simple to implement a fully flexible adaptive refinement ***,the methodology is validated by comparing it with numerical and experimental results on three cases:(1) the flow passing a circular cylinder at Re=40 and Re=100,(2) a periodic oscillation of a circular cylinder in fluid at rest and(3) the self-propelled fish-like swimming at Re=6400.

The interannual-to-interdecadal relationship between the Pacific sea surface temperature (SST) and the northern hemispheric midlati- tude’s atmosphere represented by the circumpolar vortex was documented with the global oceanic and atmospheric reanalysis data of recent 50 *** covarying modes of the Pacific SST and northern circumpolar vortex anomalies during winter were examined using the sin- gular value decomposition and wavelet analysis *** is the interannual,ENSO-related mode and the other is the interdecadal, North Pacific SST-related mode with a period of around 20 *** two modes exhibit distinct spatial *** the interannual mode,the SST anomaly is characterized by a typical ENSO pattern with the principal signature in the tropical eastern Pacific and secondary one in the central North Pacific,while the atmospheric anomaly is regional,characterized by a Pacific-North American *** the inter- decadal mode,large SST anomaly is located in the central North Pacific,while the atmospheric anomaly is zonally global,associated with the midlatitute’s standing long-wave *** the central North Pacific is colder,the long-wave is stronger,and vice *** investigations suggest that the interdecadal mode could involve an interaction between "two oceans and an atmosphere".

At the end of the 1950s,Sun Yingzhou considered that the 'chazi'(damaged colour)on Chenghua doucai imperial porcelain as a defect was originally produced in firing process during Chenghua period(1465―1487).Researchers in china have accepted his *** any fragment with the 'chazi' has never been found in several tons of Chenghua imperial sherds excavated from Ming imperial kiln site in *** china,few scholars have questioned the formation of 'chazi',and further investigated *** researchers at the Research Laboratory in the British Museum,employing unde-structive EDXRF,have analyzed the chemical composition of the 'chazi'(damaged colour)on a Chen-ghua doucai stem cup in the museum,and they have confirmed that the 'chazi'(damaged colour)was caused by the fire of the Jianfu palace in the Forbidden City in *** on their research,the authors studied the colour chemical principle of the 'chazi's' formation *** to the ceramic technology principle,scientific reasoning for the 'chazi' was carried *** the help of the history of Qing court,the brainteaser of the 'chazi' was totally uncovered,the misunderstanding for the 'chazi' has also been *** research also suggests that employing modern science and technology is a direction to study Chinese ancient ceramic further.

The variational adjoint method was applied to retrieving the turbulivity of the atmospheric Ekman boundary layer along with the regularization principle, The validity of the method was verified by using the idealized data, and then the turbulivity profile and the geostrophic wind profile were retrieved through it for real observational wind filed data.

The dimensionless roughness length derived from dimensional analysis bears a relation to wave age,and the dimensionless form of roughness length can be expressed with the relation with a significant wave *** on six experiments(HEXMAX,RASEX,BIO steady platform,Lake Ontario data analysis FETCH,CBLAST low wind),we verified that the Charnock parameter,Zch,and dimension- less roughness length,z0/Hs,are dependent on wave age,u*/***,we constructed a new scheme for roughness length,and explored its sensitivity to friction velocity and wave *** the newly developed parameterization scheme(PS07)with COARE (Coupled Ocean-Atmosphere Response Experiment V.3.0)algorithm,we calculated the data from the North Sea platform experiment in December,1985,and made an attempt to validate the suitability of the PS07 compared to the other three schemes of *** found that the calculated results based on the PS07 are close to the *** also conducted an experiment in which the PS07 was combined with the nested model of waves coupling in datasets of 3 typhoons that occurred at the Zhanjiang *** comparison results between the calculated and observed waves around the Naozhou Island indicate that the new parameterization scheme(PS07)has a good applicability.

NEW WAVE-DEPENDENT FORMULAE FOR SEA SPRAY FLUX AT AIR-SEA INTERFACE

A bubble-derived Sea Spray Generation Function （SSGF） was deduced, which was integrated into the new wave-dependent SSGF. The effect of sea spray feedback was parameterized by the feedback coefficients A and B. The relationship of A（B） and the wind-sea Reynolds number was derived, which shows that the feedback effect of sea spray is decreasing with the wave developing. New sea spray flux formulae, including the new SSGF and new feedback coefficients, were proposed, which can reveal clearly the influence of wave state on sea spray fluxes. Spray fluxes in the Humidity Exchange Over the Sea （HEXOS） experiment were simulated again, and results show that spray momentum flux is small in this experiment, but spray heat flux is large. Comparisons of the sea spray fluxes calculated by two kinds of formulae in different wave states show that previous wave-independent spray flux formulae are the special cases of the presented new wave dependent formulae for sea spray flnx.
