Human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) integrase (IN) is an essential enzyme in the lifecycle of this virus and also an important target for the study of anti-HIV drugs. The binding mode of the wild type IN core domain and its G140S mutant with L-Chicoric acid (LCA) inhibitor were investigated by using multiple conformation molecular docking and molecular dynamics (MD) simulation. Based on the binding modes, the drug resistance mechanism was explored for the G140S mutant of IN with LCA. The results indicate that the binding site of the G140S mutant of IN core domain with LCA is different from that of the core domain of the wild type IN, which leads to the partial loss of inhibition potency of LCA. The flexibility of the IN functional loop region and the interactions between Mg2+ ion and the three key residues (i.e., D64, D116, E152) stimulate the biological operation of IN. The drug resistance also lies in several other important effects, such as the repulsion between LCA and E152 in the G140S mutant core domain, the weakening of K159 binding with LCA and Y143 pointing to the pocket of the G140S mutant. All of the above simulation results agree well with experimental data, which provide us with some helpful information for designing the drug of anti-HIV based on the structure of IN.

In this paper, we will study the temporal-spatial landscape change from 1978 to 2001 in Daqing City, based on the mul- ti spectral scanner (MSS) and thematic mapper (TM) images of remote sensing (RS) of 1978, 1988, 1992, 1996 and 2001. In order to explain the effects of the component change on the whole landscape, we make a statistic analysis about the transfer probability matrix of the component types of the landscape by using the ARCGIS platform through the overlay analysis of different landscape components. Based on the transfer probability matrix, we calculate the in-transfer ratio, the out-transfer ratio and the contributor ratio of the special transfer process of the main landscape components. The results illustrate that the cultivated-land, grassland, swamp, and alkaline land are the main contributors resulting in the landscape change: the out-transfer ratios of grassland and swamp are much higher than the in-transfer ones; the in-transfer ratio of alkaline land is much higher than the out-transfer one; the in-transfer ratio of the land-lot is always higher than its out-transfer with the highest rate per year, although there is a small difference among the in-transfers and the out-transfers per year. The main landscape changing processes are the salination of cultivated-land, salination or desertification of grassland, salination and degeneration of swamp. Results in this paper can provide scientific basis for investigating the landscape change mechanism of resources-based city.

A near generalized balanced tournament design, or an NGBTD(k,m) in short, is a (km+1,k,k-1)-BIBD defined on a (km+1)-set V . Its blocks can be arranged into an m×(km+1) array in such a way that (1) the blocks in every column of the array form a partial parallel class partitioning V\{x} for some point x, and (2) every element of V is contained in precise k cells of each row. In this paper, we completely solve the existence of NGBTD(4,m) and almost completely solve the existence of NGBTD(5,m) with four exceptions.

The peroxotitanium-substituted heteropolytungstate (-K7GaW11(TiO2)O39(11H2O has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, UV, 183W NMR and electrochemistry. 183W NMR spectrum consists of six lines with intensity ratio 2:2:1:2:2:2, indicated that the TiO2 occupied the empty octahedral site of the GaW11 anion forming a polyanion with Cs symmetry. The characteristic charge-transfer absorption band O22-?Ti at 385 nm occurs in the UV spectrum. The polarographic reduction potential of O22- at ca.+0.87 V has been found.

Cubic boron nitride (cBN) is a kind of artificial (synthetic) crystal. Transverse electro-optic modulation in a minute cBN sample was carried out. Basing on the practical form of the crystal, we established the theoretical and experimental method according to the sample. For the first time, the linear electro-optic effect was observed in cBN, and half-wave voltage of the cBN sample was measured successfully. Furthermore, its linear electro-optic coefficient was calculated at 1.17×10?14 m/V.

A quantum secret sharing scheme between an m-party group and an n-party group is proposed using three conjugate bases.A sequence of single photons,each of which is prepared in one of the six states,is used directly to encode classical information in the quantum secret sharing *** this scheme,each of all m members in group 1 chooses randomly his/her own secret key individually and independently,and directly encodes his/her respective secret information on the states of single photons via unitary operations,then the last one sends 1/n of the resulting qubits to each member of group *** measuring their respective qubits,all members in group 2 share the secret information shared by all members in group *** renders impossible a Trojan horse attack with a multi-photon signal,a fake-signal attack with EPR pairs,an attack with single photons,and an attack with invisible *** give the upper bounds on the average success probabilities for dishonest agent eavesdropping encryption using the fake-signal attack with any two-particle entangled states.

Distant hybridization makes it possible to transfer the genome of one species to another, which results in changes in phenotypes and genotypes of the progenies. This study shows that distant hybridization or the combination of this method with gynogenesis or androgenesis lead to different ploidy fishes with genetic variation, including fertile tetraploid hybrids, sterile triploid hybrids, fertile diploid hybrids, fertile diploid gynogenetic fish, and their derived progenies. The formations of the different ploidy fishes depend on the genetic relationship between the parents. In this study, several types of distant hybridization, including red crucian carp (Carassius auratus red var.) (2n=100, abbreviated as RCC) (♀)×common carp (Cyprinus carpio L.) (2n=100, abbreviated as CC) (♂), and RCC (2n=100) (♀)×blunt snout bream (Megalobrama amblycephala) (2n=48, abbreviated as BSB) (♂) are described. In the distant hybridization of RCC (♀)×CC (♂), bisexual fertile F3–F18 allotetraploid hybrids (4n=200, abbreviated as 4nAT) were formed. The diploid hybrid eggs and diploid sperm generated by the females and males of 4nAT developed into diploid gynogenetic hybrids and diploid androgenetic hybrids, respectively, by gynogenesis and androgenesis, without treatment for doubling the chromosome. Improved tetraploid hybrids and improved diploid fishes with genetic variation were derived from the gynogenetic hybrid line. The improved diploid fishes included the high-body RCC and high-body goldfish. The formation of the tetraploid hybrids was related to the occurrence of unreduced gametes generated from the diploid hybrids, which involved in premeiotic endoreduplication, endomitosis, or fusion of germ cells. The sterile triploid hybrids (3n=150) were produced on a large scale by crossing the males of tetraploid hybrids with females of diploid fish (2n=100). The thermal decomposition of Tb_2(O-MBA)_6(PHEN)_2 (O-MBA: o-methylbenzoate;PHEN: 1,10-phenanthroline) and its kinetics were studied under the non-isothermal condition bythermogravimetry-derivative thermogravimetry (TG-DTG) techniques. Kinetic parameters were obtainedfrom analysis of TG-DTG curves by the Achar method and the Madhusudanan-Krishnan-Ninan (MKN) *** most probable mechanism function was suggested by comparing the kinetic parameters. The kineticequation for the first stage can be expressed as dα/dt = Aexp(-E/RT)·3(1 - α)^(2/3). Thelifetime equation at mass loss of 10% was deduced as lnτ= -28.7429 + 19797.795/T by isothermalthermogravimetric analysis.
