The construction of stable and efficient materials that emit blue and green light remains a *** the blue light materials reported,metal-organic framework(MOF)materials are rarely reported as blue phosphors due to their weak luminescence *** on the construction of CsPbBr_(3)@MOF(CPB@MOF),an innovative idea was proposed to simultaneously enhance the green luminescence of CPB and the blue luminescence of MOF through the interaction between CPB and MOF for the first *** expected,the blue luminescence from CPB:7%SCN−@0.5%MOF:Eu as well as the green luminescence from 5%CPB:7%SCN−@MOF:Eu was sufficient to construct high-performance light-emitting diode(LED)devices and further excite solar cells to generate stable photoelectric *** white LED(WLED)device with excellent color quality(color rendering index(CRI)=96.2)and correlated color temperature(CCT=9688 K)can be constructed by using the obtained blue-emitting CPB:7%SCN-@0.5%MOF:Eu,green-emitting 5%CPB:7%SCN−@MOF:Eu,and red-emitting PPB:30%Mn^(2+).The density functional theory(DFT)theoretical calculation results indicate that the p orbital of Pb plays the major role in the conduction band,and the p orbital of Br plays the major role in the valance band of CPB and CPB:SCN−.While the p orbital of O plays the major role in both the conduction band and valance band of *** heat capacity of CPB and CPB:SCN−separately reaches the Dulong–Petit limit at 200 and 400 K,indicating that the thermal stability of CsPbBr_(3)increases after SCN−doping.

Earth’s magnetopause is a thin boundary separating the shocked solar wind plasma from the magnetospheric plasmas,and it is also the boundary of the solar wind energy transport to the *** X-ray imaging allows investigation of the large-scale magnetopause by providing a two-dimensional(2-D)global view from a *** performing 3-D global hybrid-particle-in-cell(hybrid-PIC)simulations,we obtain soft X-ray images of Earth’s magnetopause under different solar wind conditions,such as different plasma densities and directions of the southward interplanetary magnetic *** all cases,magnetic reconnection occurs at low latitude *** soft X-ray images observed by a hypothetical satellite are shown,with all of the following identified:the boundary of the magnetopause,the cusps,and the *** X-ray emissivity in the magnetosheath is characterized by large amplitude fluctuations(up to 160%);however,the maximum line-of-sight-integrated X-ray intensity matches the tangent directions of the magnetopause well,indicating that these fluctuations have limited impact on identifying the magnetopause boundary in the X-ray ***,the magnetopause boundary can be identified using multiple viewing *** also find that solar wind conditions have little effect on the magnetopause *** Solar wind Magnetosphere Ionosphere Link Explorer(SMILE)mission will provide X-ray images of the magnetopause for the first time,and our global hybrid-PIC simulation results can help better understand the 2-D X-ray images of the magnetopause from a 3-D perspective,with particle kinetic effects considered.

Interactions of phenol and benzaldehyde in electrocatalytic upgrading process

Biomass pyrolysis oil can be improved effectively by electrocatalytic hydrogenation(ECH).However,the unclear interactions among different components lead to low bio-oil upgrading efficiency in the conversion ***,benzaldehyde and phenol,as common compounds in bio-oil,were chosen as model *** interactions between the two components were explored in the ECH process by combining experiments and theoretical *** showed that phenol could accelerate the conversion of benzaldehyde in the *** selectivity of benzyl alcohol was increased from 60.9%of unadded phenol to 99.1%with 30 mmol/L phenol concentration at 5 *** inhibited the ECH of *** the presence of benzaldehyde,the conversion rate of phenol was below 10.0%with no cyclohexanone and cyclohexanol formation at 5 *** density functional theory(DFT)calculations revealed that the phenol could promote the adsorption of benzaldehyde and facilitate the targeted conversion of benzaldehyde on the active site by lowering the reaction energy *** research on the interaction between phenol and benzaldehyde in the ECH provides a theoretical basis for the application of ECH in practical bio-oil upgrading.

Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a degenerative disease of the central nervous system. It results in cognitive dysfunction due to the loss of functional neurons and a deficit of new neurons， which can lead to death in severe cases. Repairing damaged neurons by promoting hippocampal neurogenesis has become therapeutic modality to combat neurodegenerative diseases. The novel isoflavone alkaloid LY01， found in the edible fruits of Sophora alopecuroides L.， has various neuroprotective effects. However， the molecular mechanism by which it promotes the proliferation of endogenous neural stem cells (NSCs) is not yet precisely known. The effects of LY01 were investigated in vivo and in vitro. In vivo experiments showed that LY01 could counteract the toxic damage of Aβ， enhance the learning ability and memory capacity of 5×FAD mice， and improve the morphology of neurons in the hippocampal region. In vitro experiments showed that LY01 was effective against antioxidant damage， improved the cell morphology of C17.2 mouse NSCs after hydrogen peroxide injury， and increased cell viability. Both in vitro and in vivo experiments promoted NSC proliferation by upregulating the mRNA and protein levels of the critical genes of the Wnt/β-catenin pathway， which increased levels of doublecortin to facilitate new neuronal generation. This indicates that the ability of LY01 to counteract Aβ toxicity and alleviate oxidative damage in early AD is associated with activation of the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway to promote NSC proliferation and thus repair damaged neurons.

Flax is a crucial fiber crop that exhibits excellent textile properties and serves as a model plant for investigating phloem fiber development. The regulation of multiple genes significantly influences fiber development, notably involving NAC(NAM, ATAF1/2, CUC2) transcription factors in forming the fiber secondary cell wall(SCW).Overexpression of luNAC61 in flax resulted in sparse top meristematic zone leaves and significantly reduced stem cellulose content. Scanning electron microscopy and staining observations revealed a significant reduction in fiber bundles. β-Glucuronidase(GUS) staining analysis demonstrated high activity of the luNAC61 promoter in the bast fibers of the flax stem. Additionally, several members of the luPLATZ and luCesA families exhibited significant coexpression with luNAC61. Subcellular localization indicated the presence of luPLATZ24 protein in the nucleus and cytoplasm, luNAC61 protein exclusively in the nucleus, and luCesA10 in the nucleus and endoplasmic reticulum. luPLATZ24 positively regulates luNAC61, whereas luNAC61 negatively affects luCesA10, suggesting the involvement of a metabolic network in regulating flax fiber development. In conclusion, this study provides a critical opportunity for a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of the mechanisms governing flax fiber development and the potential use of biotechnology to enhance flax fiber yield.

Two-layer Lagrange-based relay network topology and trajectory design for solar system explorations

Exploration targeting outer planets and even the edge of the solar system is an emerging direction for the deep-space exploration in the next decades. To address this challenge, a novel two-layer Lagrangebased relay network topology is proposed in this study. Specifically, we utilize the sun-Mars and sun-Saturn Lagrange points(LPs) L4 and L5 to build a two-layer backbone relay network, which ensures continuous and high-efficiency communication capability for the exploration of the solar system. Furthermore, we utilize the planetary gravity assist and design the transfer trajectory of backbone relays with the help of planetary celestial body motion equations and Kepler's laws. Moreover, we conduct link budget analysis for multihop relay transmission under Gamma-Gamma distribution, shadowed Rician fading, and additive white Gaussian noise channels in several typical exploration scenarios and validate that the LP relays can effectively support future deep-space exploration missions.

A nitrogen-rich halogen-bonded organic framework(XOF) for efficient iodine capture and security printing

The escalating utilization of nuclear energy and nuclear medicine raises concerns about the environmental impact of radioactive iodine, necessitating the development of effective iodine adsorbents, especially under a real-world scenario with extremely low iodine concentration and elevated temperature. Herein, we have presented the construction of a nitrogen-abundant two-dimensional（2D） halogen-bonded organic framework, XOF-TNP, characterized by exceptional crystallinity, thermal stability, and nitrogen-rich structures. XOF-TNP exhibits strong binding to iodine, thanks to the fact that iodine can be pre-enriched into the framework through N···I interactions. The nitrogen-rich framework and I+synergistically have extremely high binding force to iodine, enabling the rapid and efficient capture of iodine in both vapor and solution phases, with significant recyclability. Further flow-through adsorption experiments using an XOF-TNP-packed column achieve 99% iodine removal from hexane and aqueous solutions, surpassing traditional activated carbon. This highlights its potential for environmental remediation. XOFTNP enables the development of a novel rewritable security paper, utilizing its iodine adsorption properties to encrypt and decrypt QR codes. This research expands the application scope of halogen-bonded organic frameworks, providing insights into the design of materials for environmental remediation and security applications.
