Theoretical calculation of the finishing rolling elongation in alloying non-quenched and tempered steel

The finishing rolling elongationδof the alloying non-quenched and tempered steel is calculated with the covalent electron number nA of the strongest bond of the alloying phases and the interface electron density differenceΔρof the phase interfaces. The calculations show that the elongationδα-Fe of the matrixα-Fe decreases with rolling refinement, the elongationδα-Fe-C-M of solid solution phases (M denotes alloying element) is inversely proportional to the covalent electron number nAα-Fe-C-M of the strongest bond, the elonga tion decrementΔδα-Fe/α-Fe-C-M caused by interface strengthening is directly proportional to the interface electron density differenceΔρα-Fe/α-Fe-C-M, but the elongation decrementsΔδα-Fe/MCC1 andΔδα-Fe-C/MCC2 caused by dispersion strengthening and precipitation strength- ening respectively are directly proportional to the ratio of the electron density differenceΔρα-Fe/MCC1 andΔρα-Fe/MCC2 of the strengthening interfaces toΔρα-Fe/α-Fe-C of the basic interfaceα-Fe/α-Fe-C. Therefore, the finishing rolling elongation of the alloying non-quenched and tempered steel is considered to be subtracting all the elongation decrements of solution strengthening, interface strengthening, dispersion strengthening and precipitation strengthening from the elongation of the refinedα-Fe matrix. The calculation formulas in this paper are integrated with the proposed ones ofσS,σb and ofαK delivered in another paper, the finishing rolling mechanical properties can be achieved and the calculated results agree well with the measured ones.

Aiming at the nozzle blocking problem in rectangular bloom production, analyze the reason, and put forword to using non-aluminium producing process to solve this problem. By analysis the experiment data, that indicate using non-aluminium process we can get good desulfurization and white slag, also get good castability and best quality. This process can fulfill the requirement of produce, it is reasonable and feasible.

Coupled with hot-continuous rolling technology and based on the calculation of the finishing rolling impact work in the non-quenched and tempered Si-Mn steel, the calculations of the finishing rolling impact work in the alloying non-quenched and tempered steel with the elements of Cr, Ni, Mo, W, Cu, V, Nb and Ti are studied with the covalent electron number nA of the strongest bond in alloying phases, the smallest electron density difference ?ρ of phase interfaces, and the number of atom states σ (σ′) which keep the interface electron density continuous. The calculated results show that the finishing rolling impact work of the alloying non-quenched and tempered steel intensely depends on strengthening mechanisms. The solution strengthening, interface strengthening, precipita- tion strengthening of pearlite, and dispersion strengthening will result in the decrease of the finishing rolling impact work; the refinement strengthening, the precipitation strength- ening of V, Nb and Ti in α-Fe-C-V(Nb, Ti), and the residual austenite containing Ni on the boundary of α-Fe-C-Ni will increase the impact work; and the increments or decrements can be calculated with nA, ?ρ, σ (σ′) and weights of alloying elements. The calculation formulas of the finishing rolling impact work in this paper are intergraded with the sug- gested ones of the finishing rolling tensile strength, yield strength, and elongation of the non-quenched and tempered steel. The calculated results agree well with the measured ones.

Analysis on Change Characteristics of Sunshine in Benxi Mountainous Area in Recent 57 Years

[Objective] This study aimed to analyze the change characteristics of sunshine hours in Benxi mountainous area in recent 57 years.[Method] Based on the data of monthly sunshine hours,total cloudiness,vapor pressure and ≥0.1 mm precipitation days from Caohekou weather station during 1954-2010,by using linear tendency,Mann-Kendall method and wavelet analysis,the change characteristics of sunshine hours in Benxi mountainous area in recent 57 years were analyzed,as well as the possible climatic factors resulting in the decrease of sunshine hours.[Result] In recent 57 years,except for the slight increase of sunshine hours in winter,annual sunshine hours and sunshine hours in other seasons showed significantly decreasing trend,and annual sunshine hours varied abruptly in *** addition,total cloudiness,vapor pressure and ≥0.1 mm precipitation days affected sunshine hours obviously,but sunshine hours didn’t simply increase as the reduction of total cloudiness and ≥0.1 mm precipitation days,which showed that the influencing factors of sunshine hours were complex.[Conclusion] The research could provide scientific references for the reasonable utilization of light energy,adjustment of agricultural industrial structure and sustainable development of agricultural economy in mountainous areas.

[Objective] The research aimed to study the variation characteristics of temperature and precipitation in Benxi area under the background of climate warming.[Method] Based on the monthly mean temperature and precipitation data of four routine meteorological stations in Benxi area from 1953 to 2010,by using linear tendency rate,linear regression equation,wavelet analysis,Mann-Kendall detection and so on,the variation characteristics of temperature and precipitation under the background of climate warming in the area were analyzed.[Result] The annual average temperature during 1953-2010 in Benxi area presented rise trend,and the linear tendency rate was 0.28 ℃/10 *** was temperature increase trend in four *** temperature rise rate in winter was the maximum and was the minimum in *** annual rainfall presented decrease trend,and the linear tendency rate was-18.16 mm/10 *** in spring,it was decrease trend in other ***-Kendall mutation detection showed that the mutation of annual average temperature in Benxi area in recent 58 years appeared in *** was no mutation phenomenon in *** mutation appeared in 1974,and autumn mutation appeared in *** mutation was in *** annual and seasonal precipitation didn’t have the mutation *** wavelet analysis found that the annual average temperature had the periodic variations of 12-14,5-6 and 2 years in Benxi area in recent 58 *** annual rainfall had the periodic fluctuations of 8-12,5-6 and 2 years.[Conclusion] The research provided the scientific basis for exploration and sustainable development of the climate resources in the mountain area.

Based on the phase transformations and strengthening mechanisms during rolling, the strength increments Δσbunder different strengthening mechanisms are calculated with the covalent electron number nAof the strongest bond in phase cells of alloys and the interface electron density difference Δρ matching the interface stress in alloys. The calculation method of the finishing rolling yield strength is proposed, and it is integrated with the proposed calculation formulas of strength of non quenched-tempered steel. Therefore, the general formulas to simultaneously calculate both the finishing rolling strength and the yield strength of the continuous casting-rolling and non quenched-tempered steel are given. Taken the pipeline steel X70 as an example, the predictions of properties and technological parameters are performed before production or online.

In the present paper,the two-dimensional comprehensive model,which integrates the temperature model developed by the authors using finite difference methods and microstructural evolution model,has been *** using different microstructural evolution equations developed by Sellars,Senuma et *** Easka et al.,the comparison studies have been made,which present that (1) the calculated γ-grain sizes show good agreements with the measured;(2) these equations show consistencies at the end of finishing stands.
