While every effort has been made to obtain the most accurate current values of the listed quantities the table does not represent a critical review or adjustment of the constants, and is not intended as a primary reference. The values and uncertainties for the cosmological parameters depend on the exact data sets, priors, and basis parameters used in the fit. Many of the derived parameters reported in this table have non-Gaussian likelihoods. Parameters may be highly correlated, so care must be taken in propagating errors. Unless otherwise specified, cosmological parameters are derived from 6-parameter fits to a flat ACDM cosmology Planck 2015 temperature （TT）＋ low g polarization data （lowP）＋ lensing [2]. Enterolithiasis or formation of gastrointestinal concretions is an uncommon medical condition that develops in the setting of intestinal stasis in the presence of the intestinal diverticula, surgical enteroanastomoses, blind pouches, afferent loops, incarcerated hernias, small intestinal tumors, intestinal kinking from intra-abdominal adhesions, and stenosing or stricturing Crohn’s disease and intestinal tuberculosis. Enterolithiasis is classified into primary and secondary types. Its prevalence ranges from 0.3% to 10% in selected populations. Proximal primary enteroliths are composed of choleic acid salts and distal enteroliths are calcified. Clinical presentation includes abdominal pains, distention, nausea, and vomiting of occasionally sudden but often fluctuating subacute nature which occurs as a result of the enterolith tumbling through the bowel lumen. Thorough history and physical exam coupled with radiologic imaging helps establish a diagnosis in a patient at risk. Complications include bowel obstruction, direct pressure injury to the intestinal mucosa, intestinal gangrene, intussusceptions, afferent loop syndrome, diverticulitis, iron deficiency anemia, gastrointestinal hemorrhage, and perforation. Mortality of primary enterolithiasis may reach 3% and secondary enterolithiasis 8%. Risk factors include poorly conditioned patients with significant obstruction and delay in diagnosis. Treatment relies on timely recognition of the disease and endoscopic or surgical intervention. With advents in new technology, improved outcome is expected for patients with enterolithiasis.

Asymmetric dimethylarginine as a mediator of vascular dysfunction in cirrhosis

Cirrhosis is associated with marked abnormalities in the circulatory function that involve a reduction in systemic vascular resistance. An important cause of this vasodilatation is the increased production or activity of nitric oxide(NO) in the splanchnic circulation. During portal hypertension and cirrhosis an increased endothelial NO synthase(e NOS) activity is demonstrated in splanchnic vessels. In contrast, the activity of e NOS in the cirrhotic liver is decreased, which suggests a different regulation of e NOS in the liver and in the splanchnic vessels. Asymmetric dimethylarginine(ADMA) is an endogenous NO inhibitor and higher plasma levels of ADMA are related to increased cardiovascular risk in both the general population and among patients with cirrhosis. It has been demonstrated that the liver is a key player in the metabolism of ADMA. This observation was further supported by investigations in human patients, showing a close correlation between ADMA plasma levels and the degree of hepatic dysfunction. ADMA is degraded to citrulline and dimethylamine by dimethylarginine dimethylaminohydrolases(DDAHs). DDAHs are expressed as type 1 and 2 isoforms and are widely distributed in various organs and tissues, including the liver. In this review, we discuss experimental and clinical data that document the effects of dimethylarginines on vascular function in cirrhosis. Our increasing understanding of the routes of synthesis and metabolism of methylarginines is beginning to provide insights into novel mechanisms of liver disease and allowing us to identify potential therapeutic opportunities.

Refining Linked Data with Games with a Purpose

With the rise of linked data and knowledge graphs,the need becomes compelling to find suitable solutions to increase the coverage and correctness of data sets,to add missing knowledge and to identify and remove *** approaches-mostly relying on machine learning and natural language processing techniques-have been proposed to address this refinement goal;they usually need a partial gold standard,i.e.,some“ground truth”to train automatic *** standards are manually constructed,either by involving domain experts or by adopting crowdsourcing and human computation *** this paper,we present an open source software framework to build Games with a Purpose for linked data refinement,i.e.,Web applications to crowdsource partial ground truth,by motivating user participation through fun *** detail the impact of this new resource by explaining the specific data linking“purposes”supported by the framework(creation,ranking and validation of links)and by defining the respective crowdsourcing tasks to achieve those *** also introduce our approach for incremental truth inference over the contributions provided by players of Games with a Purpose(also abbreviated as GWAP):we motivate the need for such a method with the specificity of GWAP *** crowdsourcing;we explain and formalize the proposed process,explain its positive consequences and illustrate the results of an experimental comparison with state-of-the-art *** show this resource’s versatility,we describe a set of diverse applications that we built on top of it;to demonstrate its reusability and extensibility potential,we provide references to detailed documentation,including an entire tutorial which in a few hours guides new adopters to customize and adapt the framework to a new use case.

SIRENE: A Spatial Data Infrastructure to Enhance Communities' Resilience to Disaster-Related Emergency

Planning in advance to prepare for and respond to a natural hazard-induced disaster-related emergency is a key action that allows decision makers to mitigate unexpected impacts and potential damage. To further this aim, a collaborative, modular, and information and communications technology-based Spatial Data Infrastructure(SDI)called SIRENE—Sistema Informativo per la Preparazione e la Risposta alle Emergenze(Information System for Emergency Preparedness and Response) is designed and implemented to access and share, over the Internet, relevant multisource and distributed geospatial data to support decision makers in reducing disaster risks. SIRENE flexibly searches and retrieves strategic information from local and/or remote repositories to cope with different emergency phases. The system collects, queries, and analyzes geographic information provided voluntarily by observers directly in the field(volunteered geographic information(VGI) reports) to identify potentially critical environmental conditions. SIRENE can visualize and cross-validate institutional and research-based data against VGI reports,as well as provide disaster managers with a decision support system able to suggest the mode and timing of intervention, before and in the aftermath of different types of emergencies, on the basis of the available information and in agreement with the laws in force at the national andregional levels. Testing installations of SIRENE have been deployed in 18 hilly or mountain municipalities(12 located in the Italian Central Alps of northern Italy, and six in the Umbria region of central Italy), which have been affected by natural hazard-induced disasters over the past years(landslides, debris flows, floods, and wildfire) and experienced significant social and economic losses.
