Inﬂammatory myoﬁbroblastic tumor(IMT)is a rare neoplasm with intermediate malignancy characterized by a propensity for recurrence but a low metastatic *** challenges arise from the diverse pathological presentation,variable symptomatology,and lack of different imaging ***,IMT is identiﬁed by the fusion of the anaplastic lymphoma kinase(ALK)gene,which is present in approximately 70%of cases,with various fusion partners,including ran-binding protein 2(RANBP2),which allows conﬁrmation of the *** surgery is the preferred approach for localized tumors,the optimal long-term treatment for advanced or metastatic disease is difﬁcult to deﬁ*** therapies are crucial for achieving sustained response to treatment within the context of genetic alteration in ***,an ALK tyrosine kinase inhibitor(TKI),was ofﬁcially approved by the US Food and Drug Administration(FDA)in 2020 to treat IMT with ALK ***,most patients face resistance and disease progression,requiring consideration of sequential *** radiotherapy with targeted therapy appears to be beneﬁcial in this *** promising results have also been achieved with immunotherapy,indicating potential for combined therapy ***,deﬁned recommendations are still *** review analyzes the available research on IMT,including genetic disorders and their impact on the course of the disease,data on the latest targeted therapy regimens and the possibility of developing immunotherapy in this indication,as well as summarizing general knowledge about prognostic and predictive factors,also in terms of resistance to systemic therapy.

Transient Stability Analysis of Grid-connected Converters in Wind Turbine Systems Based on Linear Lyapunov Function and Reverse-time Trajectory

As the proportion of converter-interfaced renewable energy resources in the power system is increasing,the strength of the power grid at the connection point of wind turbine generators(WTGs)is gradually *** research has shown that when connected with the weak grid,the stability of the traditional grid-following controlled converters will deteriorate,and they are prone to unstable phenomena such as *** to the limitations of linear analysis that cannot sufficiently capture the stability phenomena,transient stability must be *** far,standalone time-domain simulations or analytical Lyapunov stability criteria have been used to investigate transient ***,the time-domain simulations have proven to be computationally too heavy,while analytical methods are difficult to formulate for larger systems,require many modelling assumptions,and are often conservative in estimating the stability *** paper proposes and demonstrates an innovative approach to estimating the transient stability boundary via combining the linear Lyapunov function and the reverse-time trajectory *** proposed methodology eliminates the need of time-consuming simulations and the conservative nature of Lyapunov *** study brings out the clear distinction between the stability boundaries with different post-fault active current ramp rate *** the same time,it provides a new perspective on critical clearing time for wind turbine *** stability boundary is verified using time-domain simulation studies.

Influence of processing history on microstructure， mechanical properties， and electrical conductivity of Cu-0.7Mg alloy

The effects of forward extrusion as well as extrusion combined with reversible torsion (KoBo extrusion)， followed by additional deformation via the MaxStrain module of the Gleeble thermomechanical simulator， on the microstructure， mechanical properties， and electrical conductivity of a Cu-0.7Mg (wt.%) alloy， were investigated in this work. The simulation results highlighted the critical influence of processing history in determining the equivalent strain distribution. The sample subjected to forward extrusion at 400 ℃and subsequent MaxStrain processing (FM sample)， possessed 76% lower grain size compared to the sample processed solely with MaxStrain (AM sample). Likewise， the KoBo-extruded and MaxStrain-processed sample (KM sample) exhibited 66% smaller grain size compared to the AM sample. Tensile test results revealed that the AM， FM， and KM samples， respectively， possessed 251%， 288%， and 360% higher yield strength， and 95%， 121%， and 169% higher tensile strength compared to the initial annealed alloy， as a result of grain refinement as well as deformation strengthening. Finally， the electrical conductivity measurements revealed that AM， FM， and KM samples， respectively， possessed electrical conductivity values of 37.9， 35.6， and 32.0 (MS/m)， which， considering their mechanical properties， makes them eligible to be categorized as high-strength and high-conductivity copper alloys.

Surgical and non-surgical risk factors affecting the insufficiency of ileocolic anastomosis after first-time surgery in Crohn’s disease patients

BACKGROUND Crohn's disease(CD)often necessitates surgical intervention,particularly when it manifests in the terminal ileum and ileocecal *** undergoing radical surgery,a subset of patients experiences recurrent inflammation at the anasto-motic site,necessitating further medical *** To investigate the risk factors associated with anastomotic insufficiency following ileocecal resection in CD *** This study enrolled 77 patients who underwent open ileocolic resection with pri-mary stapled *** were stratified into two groups:Group I co-mprised individuals without anastomotic insufficiency,while Group II included patients exhibiting advanced anastomotic destruction observed endoscopically or those requiring additional surgery during the follow-up *** and non-surgical factors potentially influencing anastomotic failure were evaluated in both *** Anastomotic insufficiency was detected in 12 patients(15.6%),with a mean time interval of 30 months between the initial surgery and *** predomi-nant reasons for re-intervention included stenosis and excessive perianastomotic *** associated with a heightened risk of anastomotic failure encompassed prolonged postoperative obstruction,anastomotic bleeding,and clinically confirmed ***,patients in Group II exhibited preoperative malnutrition and early recurrence of symptoms related to *** Successful surgical outcomes hinge on the attainment of a fully functional anastomosis,optimal metabolic status,and clinical remission of the underlying *** endoscopic surveillance following primary resection facilitates the timely identification of anastomotic failure,thereby enabling noninvasive interventions.

Synthesis and properties of novel nitro-based thermally stable energetic compounds

This paper reviews the achievements in the field of synthesis of new thermally resistant explosive compounds in the years 2009 through 2019. The performance characteristics of these compounds(sensitivity, thermal decomposition parameters, and detonation parameters) were compared with those of 1,3,5-triamino-2,4,6-trinitrobenzene, which still seems to be an unrivalled model of a thermally resistant and generally low-sensitivity explosive material. New thermally stable explosives(TSEs) were found among macromolecular compounds with tri-and dinitrophenyl groups, nitro and amine-nitro derivatives of azoles, and polynitro derivatives of calixarenes. Some of them match TATB in terms of thermal resistance and additionally have higher detonation parameters.

Theoretical Modelling of Metallurgical Defect Closing-Up Processes During Forming a Forging

Computer modelling using an FEM-based program, i.e. Forge 2008, was carried out. Laboratory model-ling of the process of free hot forging in shaped anvils was conducted to close up metallurgical defects. Results ob- tained from the simulation modelling were processed by using a commercial statistical package, i.e. Statistica 6.0 PL. The influence of the anvil shape and main parameters of the forging process on closing up metallurgical defects were determined. On the basis of the investigation carried out, the optimal values of main forging technologieal parameters and suitable groups of anvils to be used in particular forging tages are proposed for the elimination of metallurgical defects.

Assessment of individual costs of the anti-predator defence translating into changes in population parameters is *** is because prey responses are likely to be modulated by additional factors,commonly present in the environment,but often neglected in experimental *** evaluate the effect of external factors on prey behavior and physiology,we exposed amphipods Dikerogammarus villosus and Gammarus jazdzewskii to the predation cue of Perca fluviatilis in different densities and light *** of both species exposed to the predation cue in light modified their oxygen consumption(***:reduction,***:increase)compared to their respiration in predator-free ***,in the presence of conspecifics or in darkness,their respiration became insensitive to the predation *** the other hand,the swimming activity of prey was reduced in the presence of the predation cue irrespective of prey density and light conditions,but singletons were consistently more active than ***,external factors,such as conspecifics and darkness,constantly or periodically occurring in the field,may reduce the costs of predator non-consumptive effects compared to the costs measured under laboratory conditions(in light or absence of conspecifics).Moreover,we showed that behavioral and physiological parameters of prey may change differently in response to predation ***,conclusions drawn on the basis of single defence mechanisms and/or results obtained in artificial conditions,not reflecting the environmental complexity,strongly depend on the experimental design and endpoint selection and therefore should be treated with care.
