in the last few decades,the treatment strategy for locally advanced resectable gastric cancer(GC)has shifted to a multimodal approach,which potentially decreases recurrence risk and improves survival *** therapy leads to downstaging,increased curative resection rates,and prolonged disease-free and overall survival,by preventing micrometastases in patients with resectable *** of neoadjuvant therapy provides information about tumor biology and in vivo sensitivity.A consensus regarding the therapeutic approach for non-metastatic GC does not exist,and many clinical trials aim to clarify this *** in precision medicine and the role of immunotherapy have been the focus of research in GC ***,the current status and possible future developments of perioperative therapy for locally advanced resectable GC are reviewed,based on the most recent randomized clinical trials.

Objective The present study was aimed to determine the effect of penile prosthesis implantation(PPi)surgery on penile sensation by evaluating the penile electromyography(EMG)*** The research was designed as a prospective *** patients who were diagnosed with organic erectile dysfunction and had underwent PPi surgery between January 2017 and January 2018 in the Urology Clinic of Antalya Training and Research Hospital were included in this *** sensory EMG was performed on each patient 1 day prior to the surgery by the Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation ***,the control EMG study was also performed in the 3rd and 6th postoperative *** We included 27 patients in this study who attended regular follow-ups and had complete EMG *** of the 27 patients,23(85.2%)patients had received malleable(ProMedon)penile prosthesis,one(3.7%)patient had received a two-piece inflatable(Ambicor)penile prosthesis,and three(11.1%)patients had received a three-piece inflatable(AMS 700 CXR)penile *** mean nerve conduction value(NCV)of the patients was 29.85(standard derivation:22.54;range:0-78.4)m/s during the preoperative period,whereas it was 27.64(standard derivation:24.72;range:0-83.3)m/s in the 3rd postoperative month and 24.80(standard derivation:22.31;range:0-88.4)m/s in the 6th postoperative *** was no significant difference between preoperative NCV and 3rd postoperative month NCV(p=0.607).Similarly,no significant difference was observed between preoperative NCV and 6th postoperative month NCV(p=0.276).Additionally,the change between NCV values at postoperative 3rd and 6th months was not statistically significant(p=0.553).Conclusion Significant loss of penile sensation does not occur in patients who undergo PPi surgery.

Effect of taxifolin on cold-shock damages in spermatozoa in rabbits

Objective:To investigate the effect of taxifolin added to rabbit semen on freezing-induced cold-shock damages in ***:Semen was collected from six adult New zealand rabbits once a week by artificial *** collected semen was pooled at 38℃ and divided into four equal *** were diluted with 0,50,100 and 200μM taxifolin-containing Tris+egg yolk extender at 38℃ and their temperatures were lowered to 4℃.Following equilibration,semen drawn into 0.25 mL straws were frozen in an automatic semen freezing device and stored in liquid nitrogen container at-196℃.Samples were thawed in 38℃ water for 25 s and the analyses of motility,kinematic parameters,morphological deformities,changes in membrane integrity,mitochondrial membrane potential,dead-live ratio,acrosomal damages and as well as oxidative stress analyses were performed in ***:Addition of 50μM taxifolin significantly improved motility(total,progressive,rapid and static),high mitochondrial membrane potential and the ratios of spermatozoa with acrosomal damage compared to the control *** to the control group,malondialdehyde(MDA)levels in the 50 and 100μM taxifolin groups were significantly lower,while the MDA level was high and viable spermatozoa ratio was low in the 200μM taxifolin *** were no significant differences between the groups in terms of kinematic parameters,morphological deformities,membrane integrity and antioxidant ***:The low dose of taxifolin(50μM)has a positive effect and the high dose(200μM)has a negative ***,it is concluded that the addition of low-dose(50μM)taxifolin to the extenders would be a useful additive in reducing cold-shock damage that occurs during freezing of rabbit semen.

The Diş Kayalıkları is one of the largest and most striking examples of crests in the world and is located between Eskidere and Boğazören villages of the imranlı district of the Sivas province in Turkey. The crests, which resemble castle walls when viewed from afar, have a real wall pattern due to the right-angled crack system of the bedrock when viewed closely. This study aims at investigating the geomorphological features of the Diş Kayalıkları and determining how the geological and geomorphological evolution of the Diş Kayalıkları took place and how the current formation mechanism continues. in the region, the mid-latitude continental climate prevails with cold humid winters and warm dry summers. The bedrock consists of Miocene bedded deposits of different resistance, folded by young tectonic movements. Diş Kayalıkları was formed by selective erosion of less resistant terrain around a pack of resistant rock on the steeper southern slope of an asymmetrical anticline. it has a length of 4750 m in the approximately northwest-southeast direction, a maximum height of 30 m, and a width varying between 5 and 8 m. in the present morphological appearance of the Diş Kayalıkları, it can be stated that the structure formed after the tectonic formation process was eroded under the control of the local climate and crest formation was realized. in the following process, the crest experienced a polycyclic process where different landforms were formed. There are smaller landforms such as karren, cave and rock window on Diş Kayalıkları, and macrofossil beds in some places. This highly attractive geomorphosite, unknown to wider public, should be investigated from various scientific aspects and should be brought to regional tourism by making the necessary infrastructure and promotion studies.

Amine-based absorption/stripping is one of the promising technology for CO2 capture from natural and industrial gas *** the process,amines and CO2 undergo irreversible reactions to produce undesired compounds,which cause corrosion,foaming,increased viscosity and breakdown of equipment,ultimately contributing to the economic loss and environmental *** this study,the thermal degradation of aqueous diethanolamine in the presence and absence of dissolved CO2 was *** experiments were performed in stainless steel *** results show that thermal degradation in the absence of CO2 was a slow process;triethanolamine,and tris(2-aminoethyl)amine were only the degradation products identified in the mixture in addition,the rate of degradation was very low,only 3%degradation was observed after 4 *** in the presence of CO2,sixteen degradation products were identified,nine of which were new degradation products reported for the first time in this *** 3-(2-hydroxyethyl)-2-oxazolidinone,1,4-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)piperazine and triethanolamine were the most abundant degradation *** remaining DEA concentration after 4 weeks was about 20%of the total amine *** most probable degradation reactions and their mechanisms are also proposed.

分析了采用耐热细菌ldH酶制备的生物传感器对汞和镍的响应性。将酶纯化、固定在一个涂有PGA-吡咯聚合材料的金箔上作为工作电极,在增加溶液中乳酸浓度的情况下测定生物传感器对两种不同浓度的汞和镍溶液的响应性。当溶液中含25×10-7mmol/L汞和17×10-5mmol/L镍时,生物传感器的电流响应分别从0.32μA下降到0.09μA和从4.13μA下降到2.63μA。在含25×10-7mmol/L汞溶液中,生物传感器的敏感性从0.0102μA/(mmol·L-1)下降到0.0043μA/(mmol·L-1)。另一方面,镍的存在并没有导致传感器敏感性的降低。结果表明,制备的生物传感器适合用于含汞和镍溶液中的汞检测。
