Aim:The present study aimed to elucidate the role of T-subtype calcium channels（Cav3.1,Cav3.2,and Cav3.3）in the pathogenesis of neuropathic pain at spinal ***:The chronic compression of the dorsal root ganglion（CCD）rat modelwas *** antisense oligonucleotide of Cav3.1,Cav3.2,and Cav3.3 or nor-mal saline（NS）were intrathecally administered twice per day from the first day tothe fourth day after *** mechanical withdrawal threshold and pawthermal withdrawal latency were measured to evaluate the tactile allodynia andthermal hyperalgesia,***:CCD rats developed reliable tactileallodynia and thermal hyperalgesia after *** administration ofantisense oligonucleotide of Cav3.2 and Cav3.3 significantly relieved tactileallodynia and thermal hyperalgesia in CCD rats,but not ***:Cav3.2and Cav3.3 subtype calcium channels in the spinal cord may play an important rolein the pathogenesis of neuropathic pain,which may contribute to the manage-ment of the neuropathic pain.

BACKGROUND:Harmine has antitumor and antinociceptive effects,and inhibits human DNA *** no detailed data are available on the mechanisms of action of harmine in hepatocellular *** study aimed to investigate the effects of harmine on proliferation and apoptosis and the underlying mechanisms in the human hepatocellular carcinoma cell line ***:The proliferation of HepG2 cells was determined by the cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8) assay and the clone formation *** morphology of HepG2 cells was examined using fluorescence microscopy after Hoechst 33258 staining Annexin V/propidium iodide (PI) was used to analyze apoptosis and PI to analyze the cell *** blotting was used to assess expression of the apoptosis-regulated genes Bcl-2,Bax,Bcl-xl,Mcl-1,caspase-3,and caspase-9 Mitochondrial transmembrane potential (Ψ m) was determined using ***:Harmine inhibited the proliferation of HepG2 cells in a dose-dependent *** 33258 staining revealed nuclear fragmentation and chromosomal condensation,cell shrinkage,and attachment loss in HepG2 cells treated with *** percentage of the sub/G1 fraction was increased in a concentration-dependent manner,indicating apoptotic cell *** staining showed that harmine changed the cell cycle distribution,by decreasing the proportion of cells inG0/G1 and increasing the proportion in S and G2/*** induced apoptosis in a concentration-dependent manner,with rates of 20.0%,32.7% and 64.9%,***-1 revealed a decrease in Ψ *** of HepG2 cells was associated with caspase-3 and caspase-9 activation,down-regulation of Bcl-2,Mcl-1,and Bcl-xl,and no change in ***:Harmine had an anti-proliferative effect in HepG2 cells by inducing *** signal pathways were involved in the *** cancer-specific selectivity shown in this study suggested that harmine is a promising novel drug for human hepatocellular carcinoma.

Changes in erythrocyte membrane ATPases and plasma lipid peroxides（LPO） were studiedperioperatively in 15 abdominal surgical patients under intravenous procaine-balanced *** resultsrevealed that erythrocyte membrne Na+-K+ATPase,Mg2+ATPase and Ca2+-Mg2+ATPase activities werenot significantly changed at 60～90 min after incision as compared with 30 min before anesthesia,but weredecreased markedly at 10 rain and 24 hours after completion of operation（P0.05）.These correlations are suggested to be inducedby neuroendoerine responses after anesthesia and/or surgical trauma.

Hypoxia inducible transcription factor (HIF)-1α plays an important role in the development ofhypoxic pulmonary hypertension,but little is known about HIF-2α and HIF-3α with respect to transcriptionalregulation by *** examine the expression patterns of all HIF-α subunits (HIF-α,HIF-2α andHIF-3α) in pulmonary arteries of rats undergoing systemic hypoxia,five groups of healthy male Wistarrats were exposed to normoxia (N) and hypoxia for 3 (H),7 (H),14 (Hand 21 (*** arterial pressure (mPAP),vessel morphometry and right ventricular hypertrophy index *** were inflation fixed for immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization,and homogenizedfor Western blot. mPAP increased significantly after 7 d of hypoxia [(18.4±0.4) vs. (14.4±0.4) mmHg,Hvs.N],reached its peak after 14 d of hypoxia,then remained *** artery remodeling and rightventricular hypertrophy developed significantly after 14 d of *** normoxia,HIF-1α and HIF-3αstaining were slightly positive regarding mRNA levels.A substantial alteration of HIF-1α and HIF-3α stainingoccurred in puhnonary arteries after 14 d and 7 d of hypoxia,respectively,but HIF-2α staining showed aninversed trend after 14 d of *** levels of all HIF-α subunits except HIF-3α showed a markedincrease corresponding to the duration of hypoxia,which was obtained by Western *** study foundthat HIF-1α. HIF-2α and HIF-3α may not only confer different target genes,but also play key pathogeneticroles in hypoxic-induced pulmonary hypertension.
