The sea level in coastal areas of China reached the second highest in 2021,just after that recorded in *** force and dynamic analyses based on tide gauges,satellite observations,reanalysis data and regional numerical outputs were conducted to understand these abnormally high sea levels and determine their possible *** show that the coastal sea level of China had increased at an annual rate of 3.4.0.3 mm during 1980-2021,with an acceleration of 0.06±0.02 mm per *** superposition of significant oscillations of quasi-2,3-7,quasi-9,quasi-11,quasi-19 and 20-30 years contributed to the anomalously high sea *** negative-phased El Nino/Southern Oscillation was correlated with the anomalously high sea level and the north-south anti-phase pattern of the coastal sea level in ***,phase lags of 1-4.months occurred with the sea-level *** a decadal timescale,the Pacific Decadal Oscillation(PDO)was negatively correlated with the anomalous mean sea level(MSL),and the negative-phased PDO contributed to the anomalous sea-level change in ***,the monthly MSL peaked in April and July,and the contribution of wind stress to the anomalously high sea level was 38.5%in the south of the Taiwan Strait in April and 30%along the coast of China in *** results were consistent with the tide gauge and satellite *** agreement was also observed between the coastal sea-level fingerprint and the air and sea surface temperatures.

Aberrant expression of circular RNAs(circ RNAs)is frequently linked to colorectal cancer(CRC).Here,we identified circ ZFR as a promising biomarker for CRC diagnosis and *** ZFR was upregulated in CRC tissues and serum exosomes and its level was linked to cancer incidence,advanced-stages,and *** both in vitro and in vivo settings,circ ZFR promoted the growth and spread while suppressing apoptosis of *** with circ ZFR overexpression promoted the proliferation and migration of cocultured CRC ***,epithelial splicing regulatory protein 1(ESRP1)in CRC cells may enhance the production of circ ***2-associated transcription factor 1(BCLAF1)bound to circ ZFR,which prevented its ubiquitinated ***,circ ZFR sponged mi R-3127-5p to boost rhotekin 2(RTKN2)*** TCP1-CD-QDs nanocarrier was able to carry and deliver circ ZFR si RNA(si-circ ZFR)to the vasculature of CRC tissues and cells,which inhibited the growth of tumors in patient-derived xenograft(PDX)*** together,our results show that circ ZFR is an oncogenic circ RNA,which promotes the development and spread of CRC in a BCLAF1 and mi R-3127-5p-dependent *** ZFR is a possible serum biopsy marker for the diagnosis and a desirable target for further treatment of CRC.

The Cretaceous was a significant greenhouse period in Earth's history with higher atmospheric CO_(2) levels and temperatures than today. Although evidence of combustion has been widely described from the Cretaceous deposits, our understanding of the spatiotemporal diversification pattern and process of the Cretaceous wildfires is still limited. In this study, we comprehensively synthesize a total of 271 published Cretaceous wildfire occurrences based on the by-products of burning, including fossil charcoal, pyrogenic inertinite(fossil charcoal in coal), and pyrogenic polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs). Spatially, the dataset shows a distinctive distribution of reported wildfire evidence characterized by high concentration in the middle latitudinal areas of the Northern Hemisphere(30°N-60°N) over the Cretaceous. Temporally, an overall increasing trend of the reported wildfire data from the Early Cretaceous to the Late Cretaceous is coincident with higher atmospheric O_(2) levels. However, the spatial and temporal patterns may result from many types of factors, such as taphonomy, preservation, and researcher biases, instead of a real picture of the Cretaceous wildfire evolution. To better understand the spatiotemporal diversification of the Cretaceous wildfire, more investigations on the record of wildfire occurrences during this period would be necessary in the future.

Proposing a machine learning approach to analyze and predict basic high-temperature properties of iron ore fines and its factors

The basic high-temperature properties of iron ore play a crucial role in optimizing sintering and ore blending,but the testing process for these properties is complex and has significant lag time,which cannot meet the actual needs of ore blending.A prediction model for the basic high-temperature properties of iron ore fines was thus proposed based on a combination of machine learning algorithms and genetic ***,the prediction accuracy of different machine learning models for the basic high-temperature properties of iron ore fines was ***,a random forest model optimized by genetic algorithms was built,further improving the prediction accuracy of the *** test results show that the random forest model optimized by genetic algorithms has the highest prediction accuracy for the lowest assimilation temperature and liquid phase fluidity of iron ore,with a determination coefficient of 0.903 for the lowest assimilation temperature and 0.927 for the liquid phase fluidity after *** trained model meets the fluctuation requirements of on-site testing and has been successfully applied to actual production on site.

Influence of cerium and yttrium addition on strength and electrical conductivity of pure aluminum alloys

To develop pure aluminum alloys with high conductivity and strength, Al-0.2Ce and Al-0.2Ce-0.1Y alloys were prepared by rolling and annealing processes in this study. The effects of trace rare earth elements on the strength and electrical conductivity of the pure aluminum alloys were investigated. It is revealed that the addition of Ce and Y to pure aluminum can effectively enhance the strength and electrical conductivity of the alloys. In Al-0.2Ce, the addition of Ce can effectively refine the grain size of a-Al, with an average grain size of 90.68 μm in the as-cast state. The grain size of the alloy is further reduced to 87.55 μm by the simultaneous addition of Y. The synergistic addition of Ce and Y changes the properties of the alloy. The addition of Ce and Y also produces the Al_(11)Ce_(3) and Al_(3)Y second phases, which have coherent relationship with a-Al. The two-dimensional mismatch degree was calculated to be only 4.4.%and 0.85%, respectively, which can provide a certain amount of nucleation substrate for a-Al in the incubation stage. The interfacial match between the L1_(2)structure of Al_(3)Y and a-Al was calculated using first-principles simulations. The results indicate that Al_(3)Y has a strong bonding effect with a-Al. Nanoscale second phases at grain boundaries can be effective in reducing resistivity due to dislocation *** second phases with better matching interfaces to the substrate have no positive effect on the scattering motion of electrons.

Objective To explore the rapid antidepressant potential and the underlying mechanism of Chaihu Shugan San(CSS)in female *** Liquid chromatography mass spectrometry(LC-MS)/MS was used to determine the content of main components in CSS to determine its *** C57BL/6J mice were randomly divided into 4.groups,including control(saline),vehicle(saline),CSS(4.g/kg)and ketamine(30 mg/kg)*** were subjected to irregular stress stimulation for 4.weeks to establish the chronic mild stress(CMS)model,then received a single administration of *** hours later,the behavioral tests were performed,including open field test,tail suspension test(TST),forced swimming test(FST),novelty suppression feeding test(NSF),and sucrose preference test(SPT).Western blot analysis was used to detect the expression levels of N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor(NMDA)subtypes[N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor 1(NR1),NR2A,NR2B],synaptic proteins[synapsin1 and post synaptic density protein 95(PSD95)],and brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF).Moreover,the rapid antidepressant effect of CSS was tested by pharmacological technologies and optogenetic interventions that activated glutamate receptors,*** Compared with the vehicle group,a single administration of CSS(4.g/kg)reversed all behavioral defects in TST,FST,SPT and NSF caused by CMS(P<0.05 or P<0.01).CSS also significantly decreased the expressions of NMDA subtypes(NR1,NR2A,NR2B)at 2 h in hippocampus of mice(all P<0.01).In addition,similar to ketamine,CSS increased levels of synaptic proteins and BDNF(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Furthermore,the rapid antidepressant effects of CSS were blocked by transient activation of NMDA receptors in the hippocampus(all P<0.01).Conclusion Rapid antidepressant effects of CSS by improving behavioral deficits in female CMS mice depended on rapid suppression of NMDA receptors and activation of synaptic proteins.

Although green light(GL)is located in the middle of the visible light spectrum and regulates a series of plant developmental processes,the mechanism by which it regulates seedling development is largely *** this study,we demonstrated that GL promotes atypical photomorphogenesis in Arabidopsis thaliana via the dual regulations of phytochrome B(phyB)and *** the Pr-to-Pfr conversion rates of phyB and phyA under GL were lower than those under red light(RL)in a fluence rate-dependent and time-dependent manner,long-term treatment with GL induced high Pfr/Pr ratios of phyB and ***,GL induced the formation of numerous small phyB photobodies in the nucleus,resulting in atypical photomorphogenesis,with smaller cotyledon opening angles and longer hypocotyls in seedlings compared to *** abundance of phyA significantly decreased after short-and long-term GL *** determined that four major PHYTOCHROME-INTERACTING FACTORs(PIFs:PIF1,PIF3,PIF4.and PIF5)act downstream of phyB in GL-mediated cotyledon *** addition,GL plays opposite roles in regulating different *** example,under continuous GL,the protein levels of all PIFs decreased,whereas the transcript levels of PIF4.and PIF5 strongly increased compared with dark *** together,our work provides a detailed molecular framework for understanding the role of the antagonistic regulations of phyB and phyA in GL-mediated atypical photomorphogenesis.

Global warming and algal blooms have been two of the most pressing problems faced by the world *** recent decades,numerous studies indicated that global warming promoted the expansion of algal ***,research on how algal blooms respond to global warming is *** warming coupled with eutrophication promoted the rapid growth of phytoplankton,which resulted in an expansion of algal *** blooms are affected by the combined effects of global warming,including increases in temperatures,CO_(2)concentration,and nutrient input to aquatic systems by extreme weather *** the growth of phytoplankton requires CO_(2),they appear to act as a carbon ***,algal blooms will release CH4.CO_(2),and inorganic nitrogen when they die and *** substrate nitrogen increases from decompose algal biomass,more N2O will be released by nitrification and *** comparison to CO_(2),CH4.as 28-fold and N2O has 265-fold greenhouse ***,algal blooms in the polar regions may contribute to melting glaciers and sea ice(will release greenhouse gas,which contribute to global warming)by reducing surface albedo,which consequently would accelerate global ***,algal blooms and global warming could form feedback loops which prevent human survival and *** researches shall examine the mechanism,trend,strength,and control strategies involved in this mutual ***,it will promote global projects of environmental protection combining governance greenhouse gas emissions and algal blooms,to form a geoengineering for regulating the cycles of carbon,nitrogen,and phosphorus.

Effects of the Tensile and Shear Properties of Bolts on the Shear Properties of Bolted Rock Joints

The mechanical properties of bolts are important factors affecting the shear behavior of bolted *** this study,tensile and pure shear tests were conducted on five kinds of bolts made from different materials to measure their tensile and shear *** shear tests were conducted to analyze the effects of tensile and shear strength parameters on the shear behavior of bolted *** test results showed that the mechanical properties of bolts made from different materials were clearly different and that these differences mainly affected the plastic deformation stage of the bolted *** larger the bolt elongation was,the larger the joint shear displacement at bolt *** tensile and shear strengths of the bolts were positively correlated with the shear strength of the bolted *** to the standard regression analysis,the bolt shear strength had a greater influence than the bolt tensile strength on the bolt contributions when the bolts were perpendicular to the joint *** on the empirical equation for the bolt contribution proposed by Spang,the maximum shear loads in the pure shear test were introduced,and a new equation was established to predict the contributions of *** prediction results obtained using the modified equation were in good agreement with the experimental results.
