This study investigates the effects of displacement damage on the dark signal of a pinned photodiode CMOS image sensor (CIS) following irradiation with back-streaming white neutrons from white neutron sources at the China spallation neutron source (CSNS) and Xi'an pulsed reactor (XAPR). The mean dark signal, dark signal non-uniformity (DSNU), dark signal distribution, and hot pixels of the CIS were compared between the CSNS back-n and XAPR neutron irradiations. The non-ionizing energy loss and energy distribution of primary knock-on atoms in silicon, induced by neutrons, were calculated using the open-source package Geant4. An analysis combining experimental and simulation results showed a noticeable proportionality between the increase in the mean dark signal and the displacement damage dose (DDD). Additionally, neutron energies influence DSNU, dark signal distribution, and hot pixels. High neutron energies at the same DDD level may lead to pronounced dark signal non-uniformity and elevated hot pixel values.

Herein,a method of true-temperature inversion for a multi-wavelength pyrometer based on fractional-order particle-swarm optimization is proposed for difﬁcult inversion problems with unknown ***-order calculus has the inherent advantage of easily jumping out of local extreme values;here,it is introduced into the particle-swarm algorithm to invert the true *** improved adaptive-adjustment mechanism is applied to automatically adjust the current velocity order of the particles and update their velocity and position values,increasing the accuracy of the true temperature *** results of simulations using the proposed algorithm were compared with three algorithms using typical emissivity models:the internal penalty function algorithm,the optimization function(fmincon)algorithm,and the conventional particle-swarm optimization *** results show that the proposed algorithm has good accuracy for true-temperature *** experimental results from a rocket-motor plume were used to demonstrate that the true-temperature inversion results of this algorithm are in good agreement with the theoretical true-temperature values.

Accurate and efficient floor localization with scalable spiking graph neural networks

Floor localization is crucial for various applications such as emergency response and rescue,indoor positioning,and recommender *** existing floor localization systems have many drawbacks,like low accuracy,poor scalability,and high computational *** this paper,we first frame the problem of floor localization as one of learning node embeddings to predict the floor label of a ***,we introduce FloorLocator,a deep learning-based method for floor localization that integrates efficient spiking neural networks with powerful graph neural *** approach offers high accuracy,easy scalability to new buildings,and computational *** results on using several public datasets demonstrate that FloorLocator outperforms state-of-the-art ***,in building B0,FloorLocator achieved recognition accuracy of 95.9%,exceeding state-of-the-art methods by at least 10%.In building B1,it reached an accuracy of 82.1%,surpassing the latest methods by at least 4%.These results indicate FloorLocator’s superiority in multi-floor building environment localization.

Objective: This study aimed to investigate the orientated effective components of Astragali Radix Huangqi(HQ) in HQ Jianzhong Tang(HQJZ), a classical formula of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) used for treating chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG), using HQ as a monarch medicine. Materials and Methods: The spectra of HQJZ containing different polar parts of HQ were obtained using ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography-Q-Exactive mass spectrometry. Furthermore, the efficacy of HQJZ, which contains different polar parts of HQ, in treating rats with CAG was evaluated using traditional pharmacodynamic and nuclear magnetic resonance-based metabonomics. Grey relation analysis and partial least squares analysis were applied to analyze the spectrum–effect relationship and to screen out the orientated effective components related to HQ in the treatment of CAG. Results: Spectrum–effect relationship analysis showed that 24 compounds identified from the fingerprint spectrum were strongly correlated with efficacy. Compounds 8(calycosin-7-O-glc-6”-O-acetate), 9(3.hydroxy-9, 10-dimethoxyptercarpan), and 22(astragaloside II) were ranked among the top three. Conclusions: This study showed that integrating metabolomics and spectrum–effect relationship analysis is a powerful tool for obtaining orientated effective components of Chinese medicine in a given TCM formula.

Body color polyphenism is common in Diaphorina *** studies compared physiological characteristics in ***,but the ecological and biological significance of its body color polyphenism remains poorly *** studied the ecological and molecular effects of stressors related to body color in *** or low temperature induced a high proportion of gray morphs,which had smaller bodies,lower body weight,and greater susceptibility to the insecticide *** performed transcriptomic and metabolomics analysis of 2 color morphs in *** expression dynamics revealed that the differentially expressed genes were predominantly involved in energy metabolism,including fatty acid metabolism,amino acid metabolism,and carbohydrate *** these genes,plexin,glycosidase,phospholipase,take out,trypsin,and triacylglycerol lipase were differentially expressed in 2 color morphs,and 6 hsps(3.hsp70,hsp83.hsp90,hsp68)were upregulated in gray *** metabolome data showed that blue morphs exhibited a higher abundance of fatty acid and amino acid,whereas the content of carbohydrates was elevated in gray *** study partly explains the body color polyphenism of *** and provides insights into the molecular changes of stress response of ***.

The Steel Catenary Riser(SCR)is a vital component for transporting oil and gas from the seabed to the floating *** harsh environmental conditions and complex platform motion make the SCR’s girth-weld prone to fatigue *** structural stress fatigue theory and Master S-N curve method provide accurate predictions for the fatigue damage on the welded joints,which demonstrate significant potential and compatibility in multi-axial and random fatigue ***,we propose a new frequency fatigue model subjected to welded joints of SCR under multiaxial stress,which fully integrates the mesh-insensitive structural stress and frequency domain random process and transforms the conventional welding fatigue technique of SCR into a spectrum analysis technique utilizing structural ***,a full-scale FE model of SCR with welds is established to obtain the modal structural stress of the girth weld and the frequency response function(FRF)of modal coordinate,and a biaxial fatigue evaluation about the girth weld of the SCR can be achieved by taking the effects of multi-load correlation and pipe-soil interaction into *** research results indicate that the frequency-domain fatigue results are aligned with the time-domain results,meeting the fatigue evaluation requirements of the SCR.
