Circumscription of Primula subgenus Auganthus (Primulaceae) based on chloroplast DNA sequences

Recent molecular phylogenetic analyses of Primula have greatly enhanced our understanding of the infrageneric relationships of the genus,but the subgenera Auganthus and Carolinella remain meagerly sampled and poorly *** the present study,nucleotide sequence data of three chloroplast DNA regions (matK,rps16,and trnL-F) were used to infer phylogenetic relationships of the subgenera Auganthus and *** data were acquired and analyzed for 70 species of Primula and its close *** data matrix included 29 species (42%) of subgenus Auganthus and five species (50%) from subgenus *** analyses on these data showed that the sampled species of the subgenus Carolinella do not form a monophyletic clade,but are dispersed among the species of the subgenus ***,neither subgenus Auganthus nor Carolinella is monophyletic under their current *** distinctive calyptrate capsule that was previously used as a diagnostic criterion for subgenus Carolinella was inferred to have evolved multiple times in Primula based on the *** analysis also confirmed that Cortusa is nested within subgenus *** therefore suggest a revised circumscription of subgenus Auganthus to include subgenus Carolinella and the genus *** clades were identified with this broadly defined subgenus Auganthus by the phylogenetic analyses,but their relationships remain incompletely resolved.

Study on ChemFET NO2 Gas Sensor Array

Based on conventional metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor （MOSFET）,a novel kind of chemical field-effect transistor （ChemFET） gas sensor array has been designed and *** obtained sensor consists of self-assembly polyaniline （PAN） composite film containing poly（acrylic acid）（PAA） which was used as gate material of MOSFET instead of conventional metallic *** UV-Vis absorption spectra of PAN/PAA films were *** NO2gas sensitive property of the ChemFET sensor array was also *** show that the drain current of devices increases with increasing of back-side voltage,and decreases with the increase of NO2concentration when the NO2concentration is below 20μg/*** temperature dependence of ChemFET sensor array shows that the drain current of ChemFET sensor decreases with increasing of temperature.

THE STRICT POSITIVITY IN A NONSTANDARD HULL AND ITS APPLICATIONS TO ECONOMICS

The purpose of this paper is to study the strict positivity in a nonstandard hull of an internal normed Riesz space. Several characterizations are obtained for an element of the hull to be strictly positive. Particularly, it is shown that a nonstandard hull of an internal normed Riesz space has strictly positive elements if and only if it has an order unit. This result has an application to the double infillity problem in economics. It follows that the existence of equilibria in a nonstandard double infinity economy is equivalent to the existence of finite equilibria.

Preparation and Reaction Mechanism of Red Mud based Ceramic Simple Bricks

In order to utilize solid wastes,ceramic simple bricks with high performances were made from industrial solid wastes such as red mud,fly ash and poor clay shale as main raw materials in this *** phase compositions and microstructures were tested by XRD,SEM and *** experimental results show that the water absorption is 45.64%,the porosity is 58.91%,bulk density is 1.29 g·cm-3.compressive strength is 54.91 MPa,bending strength is 29.52 MPa,freeze-thaw resistance is 29.28 MPa,specific heat capacity at constant pressure is 1.3. J·g-1·K-1,thermal diffusivity is 5.89×10-3.cm2·s-1,and thermal conductivity is 1.15×10-2 W·cm-1·*** effects of additives and preparation process to the properties and microstructures were discussed in *** reaction mechanism was also *** results of the reaction mechanism show that there has wollastonite and feldspar generated during the process of firing while Ca gathered around the feldspar,and then Ca would displace K and generated cacoclasite.

Comprehensive benefit of flood resources utilization through dynamic successive fuzzy evaluation model: A case study

Taking the flood resources utilization in Baicheng, Jilin during 2002–2007 as the research background, and based on the entropy weight and multi-level & multi-objective fuzzy optimization theory, this research established a multi-level & semi-constructive index system and dynamic successive evaluation model for comprehensive benefit evaluation of regional flood resources utilization. With the year 2002 as the base year, the analyzing results showed that there existed a close positive correlation between flood utilization volume and its benefits, comprehensive evaluation value and its comparison increment. Within the six successive evaluation years, the comprehensive benefit of 2003.was the best, in which the benefit evaluation increment reached 82.8% whereas the year of 2004 was the worst, in which the increment was only 18.2%. Thus the sustainability and correctness of the evaluation were verified by six years successive evaluation and increment comparison. The analyzing results showed that the economic benefits, ecological benefits and social benefits of flood utilization were remarkable, and that the comprehensive benefit could be improved by increasing flood utilization capacity, which would promote the regional sustainable development as well. The established dynamic successive evaluation provides a stable theoretical basis and technical support for further flood utilization.

RAPD-PCR Analysis on Genetic Relationships Between Cultivars of Tree Peony

Random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) was used to analyze genetic polymophism of 3. Tree Peony cultivars with 7 different color groups. Thirty four primers amplified 418 DNA fragments and 3.7 polymorphic bands (80.6%), including specific DNA markers for 18 cultivars that could be used to differentiate cultivars. The UPCMA method was used to analyze the genetic relationship among cultivars. The results showed that 3. Peony cultivars could be divided into 2 cluster groups when using similarity criteria of 1.5, and into 4 cluster groups when using similarity criteria of 1.0. The result confirmed that the flower color has no relation to the genetic clusters and the Tree Peony cultivars originated from the same area has close genetic relationship. Therefore, genetic background has no large effect on the genetic relationship. The sequence based on polymorphic rate from high to low was Blue groups > Yellow groups > Bark red groups > Blake groups > White groups>Green groups>Red groups.

A study on energy transfer among chlorophylls（Chls）in the trimeric unit of the major light-harvesting complex Ⅱ（LHC Ⅱ）from Bryopsis corriculan,was carried out using time-correlated singlephoton *** the chlorophyll Q region of LHC Ⅱ,six molecules characterized as Chlb628,Chlb646,Chlb652654,657,Chla664666,Chla674677.680and Chla682683.ere discriminated according to their absorption spectrumand fluorescence emission ***,excited by pulsed light of 628 nm,fluorescence kinetics spectrain the chlorophyll Q region were *** accordance with the principles of fluorescence kinetics,thesekinetics data were analyzed with a multi-exponential *** constants on energy transfer were *** overwhelming percentage of energy transfer among chlorophylls undergoes a process longer than 97picoseconds（ps）,which shows that,before transferring energy to another Chl,the excited Chl might convertenergy to vibrations of a lower state with different multiplicity（intersystem crossing）.Energy transfer at thelevel of approximately 10 ps was also obtained,which was interpreted as the excited Chls may go throughinternal conversion before transferring energy to another *** with a higher standard deviation,timeconstants at the femtosecond level can not be entirely excluded,which can be attributed to the ultrafastprocess of direct energy *** to the arrangement and direction of the dipole moment of Chls inLHC Ⅱ,the probability of these processes is *** fluorescence lifetimes of Chlb652654,657,Chla664666,Chla674677.680and Chla682683.ere determined to be 1.44ns,1.43.ns,63. ps and 713.ps,*** of energy dissipation in the pathway of fluorescence emission were no more than 40% in thetrimeric unit of LHC Ⅱ.These results are important for a better understanding of the relationship between thestructure and function of LHC Ⅱ.
