Immunogenic dying tumor cells hold promising prospects as cancer vaccines to activate systemic immunity against both primary and metastatic ***,X-ray-induced dying tumor cells are rich in highly immunogenic tumor-associated antigens and self-generated dsDNA as potent ***,we found that the X-ray induction process can result in the excessive exposure of phosphatidylserine in cancer vaccines,which can specifically bind with the MerTK receptor on macrophages,acting as a“checkpoint”to facilitate immune silence in the tumor ***,we developed a novel strategy combining X-ray-induced cancer vaccines with UNC2.50,a macrophage MerTK“checkpoint inhibitor,”for treating peritoneal carcinomatosis in colon *** incorporating UNC2.50 into the treatment regimen,immunosuppressive efferocytosis of macrophages,which relies on MerTK-directed recognition of phosphatidylserine on vaccines,was effectively ***,the immune analysis revealed that this combination strategy promoted the maturation of dendritic cells and M1-like repolarization of macrophages,thereby simultaneously eliciting robust adaptive and innate *** innovative approach utilizing X-ray-induced vaccines combined with a checkpoint inhibitor may provide valuable insights for developing effective cancer vaccines and immunotherapies targeting colon cancer.

Despite the growing demand for transparent conductive films in smart and wearable electronics for electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding,achieving a flexible EMI shielding film,while maintaining a high transmittance remains a significant ***,a flexible,transparent,and conductive copper(Cu)metal mesh film for EMI shielding is fabricated by self-forming crackle template method and electroplating *** Cu mesh film shows an ultra-low sheet resistance(0.18Ω□^(-1)),high transmittance(85.8%@550 nm),and ultra-high figure of merit(>13,000).It also has satisfactory stretchability and mechanical stability,with a resistance increases of only 1.3%after 1,000 bending *** a stretchable heater(ε>30%),the saturation temperature of the film can reach over 110°C within 60 s at 1.00 V applied ***,the metal mesh film exhibits outstanding average EMI shielding effectiveness of 40.4 dB in the X-band at the thickness of 2.5μ*** a demonstration,it is used as a transparent window for shielding the wireless communication electromagnetic ***,the flexible and transparent conductive Cu mesh film proposed in this work provides a promising candidate for the next-generation EMI shielding applications.

Traumatic brain injury results in neuronal loss and glial scar *** neurons and eliminating the consequences of glial scar formation are essential for treating traumatic brain *** reprogramming is a promising strategy to convert glial scars to neural ***,previous studies have reported inconsistent *** this study,an AAV9P1 vector incorporating an astrocyte-targeting P1 peptide and glial fibrillary acidic protein promoter was used to achieve dual-targeting of astrocytes and the glial scar while minimizing off-target *** results demonstrate that AAV9P1 provides high selectivity of astrocytes and reactive ***,neuronal reprogramming was induced by downregulating the polypyrimidine tract-binding protein 1 gene via systemic administration of AAV9P1 in a mouse model of traumatic brain *** summary,this approach provides an improved gene delivery vehicle to study neuronal programming and evidence of its applications for traumatic brain injury.

We propose for the first time,to the best of our knowledge,an on-chip integrated few-mode erbium–ytterbium co-doped waveguide amplifier based on an 800 nm thick Si_(3)N_(4)platform,which demonstrates high amplification gains and low differential modal gains(DMGs)*** eccentric waveguide structure and a co-propagating pumping scheme are adopted to balance the gain of each mode.A hybrid mode/polarization/wavelengthdivision(de)multiplexer with low insertion loss and crosstalk is used for multiplexing and demultiplexing in two operation wavebands centered at 1550 nm and 980 nm,where the light in these two bands serves as the signal light and pump light of the amplifier,*** results demonstrate that with an input signal power of 0.1 mW,TE_(0)mode pump power of 300 mW,and TE_(1)mode pump power of 500 m W,the three signal modes(TE_(0)∕TM_(0)∕TE_(1))all exhibit amplification gains exceeding 30 dB,while maintaining a DMG of less than 0.1 dB.
