In recent years,the demand for real-time data processing has been increasing,and various stream processing systems have *** the amount of data input to the stream processing system fluctuates,the computing resources required by the stream processing job will also *** resources used by stream processing jobs need to be adjusted according to load changes,avoiding the waste of computing *** present,existing works adjust stream processing jobs based on the assumption that there is a linear relationship between the operator parallelism and operator resource consumption(e.g.,throughput),which makes a significant deviation when the operator parallelism *** paper proposes a nonlinear model to represent operator *** divide the operator performance into three stages,the Non-competition stage,the Non-full competition stage,and the Full competition *** our proposed performance model,given the parallelism of the operator,we can accurately predict the CPU utilization and operator *** with actual experiments,the prediction error of our model is below 5%.We also propose a quick accurate auto-scaling(QAAS)method that uses the operator performance model to implement the auto-scaling of the operator parallelism of the Flink *** to previous work,QAAS is able to maintain stable job performance under load changes,minimizing the number of job adjustments and reducing data backlogs by 50%.

Due to concerns about carbon leakage and sectoral competitiveness,the European Union(EU)proposed implementing the carbon border adjustment mechanism(CBAM).The effectiveness and potential negative consequences of CBAM have aroused extensive *** the perspective of the economy-wide analysis,this study uses a global computable general equilibrium model to explore the rationality of CBAM from the aspects of socioeconomic impact and the effects of promoting climate ***,the potential alternative mechanism of CBAM is *** results show that CBAM can reduce the EU's gross domestic product(GDP)loss;however,the GDP loss in all other regions ***,CBAM raises household welfare losses in most regions,including the ***,although CBAM can reduce the marginal abatement cost in eight regions,it comes at the cost of greater economic ***,the economic and household welfare cost of raising emissions reduction targets in regions like the USA and Japan is substantially higher than the impact of passively accepting the CBAM;therefore,CBAM's ability to drive ambitious emission reduction initiatives may be ***,for the potential alternative mechanism,from the perspective of reducing economic cost and household welfare losses,the EU could implement domestic tax cuts in the short-term and promote global unified carbon pricing in the long-term.

This study details an astrometric observation campaign of the Near-Earth Asteroid 1.98 HH49,conducted with the aim of refining our understanding of its physical *** the 50 cm telescope located at the Wumingshan Mountain in Daocheng,Sichuan,images were obtained over four nights,from 2023 October 1. to October *** observations were processed using Astrometrica software,facilitating the precise determination of the asteroid's *** observational results were compared with the ephemerides from three distinct sources to verify accuracy:the Jet Propulsion Laboratory(JPL)Horizons System,the Institut de Mécanique Céleste et de Calcul deséphémérides(IMCCE)Miriade,and the Near-Earth Objects Dynamic Site(NEODyS-2).When compared with the JPL ephemeris,a mean observed-minus-calculated(O-C)result of 0.″07 in the *** and-0.″35 in the *** was ***,the comparison with the IMCCE ephemeris yielded mean O-C results of 0.″08 in the *** and-0.″06 in the *** comparison with the NEODyS-2 ephemeris yielded the mean O-C results of 0.″06 in ***-0.″49 in *** study's findings demonstrate a general consistency between the observed data and the ephemeris predictions,with minor discrepancies observed across the data ***,both the JPL and NEODyS-2 ephemerides show that the residuals in the *** exceed those in the *** disparities may result from atmospheric differential color refraction,ephemeris discrepancies,observational errors,and other ***,it is worth noting that further investigation is required due to the potential influence of additional ***,the Daocheng 50 cm Telescope exhibits the ability to conduct high-precision positional measurements.

Peptide drugs are known for their high biological ***,compared with small molecule drugs,peptide drugs are easily oxidized and hydrolyzed as well as short in ***,inspired by the long circulation of albumin in blood,we screened albumin binding peptides(ABPs)from a one-bead one-compound(OBOC)peptide library to increase the half-life of peptide *** displaying random peptides were screened using fluorescent labeled human serum *** beads with specific binding to albumin were isolated for *** selected ABPs can effectively bind to albumin,thus possessing the long circulation of *** dissociation constant(K_(D))of ABPs to albumin is up to 1.1.^(-8)mol/*** one of ABPs(ABP2)was coupled to triptorelin,the circulation half-life of triptorelin in mice was significantly prolonged to 263.50 h much longer than that of triptorelin alone(1.9.07 h).In addition,the combination therapy using ABP-conjugated triptorelin and doxorubicin(DOX)can effectively inhibit the proliferation of tumor cells in *** OBOC screening strategy and resulting ABPs showed great potential for enhancing the delivery efficiency of peptide drugs.

Competitive diving is a popular sport that attracts numerous participants worldwide;unfortunately,competitive divers experience a notable frequency of injuries during training and *** this,injuries in diving often received less attention compared to those in other aquatic *** purpose of this study was to conduct a systematic review to update the scientific evidence on injury incidence in competitive divers to offer insights into the prevalent injury patterns and help develop injury prevention *** involved analyzing injury data collected from the Injury Surveillance Programme(ISP)across various levels of competition events and assessing case reports involving a wide spectrum of diving *** online bibliographical databases were consulted:Google Scholar,PubMed,Scops,and Web of Science from their inception until December 6,2023.81. studies were initially identified,and 1. studies were finally included in this *** Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses(PRISM)guidelines and PRISMA in Exercise,Rehabilitation,Sport Medicine,and Sport Science(PERSiST)were *** independent reviewers evaluated the methodological quality of the *** majority of diving injuries are concentrated on the upper body/trunk,including the shoulder,spine,hand/wrist,head/face,and neck,with overuse injury being a main *** diving incidence,the actual injury rate in competitive athletes could be even higher than currently reported,primarily due to limitations in implementing injury surveillance protocol for diving *** latest injury data for diving in big competition events is absent,and there is a strong expectation for more new injury surveillance data to be published in the ***,the specific injury pattern,prevention strategy,and rehabilitation training plan for diving injury are severely deficient in the current literature.

BACKGROUND Endoscopic rubber band ligation(ERBL)is a nonsurgical technique for the treatment of symptomatic internal hemorrhoids but is limited by recurrence and post-procedural *** To evaluate satisfaction,long-term recurrence,and post-procedural pain in managing internal hemorrhoids using a combination of polidocanol foam sclerotherapy and *** This was a prospective,multicenter,randomized study.A total of 1.5 consecutive patients diagnosed with grade II-III internal hemorrhoids were enrolled from four tertiary hospitals and randomly divided into a cap-assisted endoscopic polidocanol foam sclerobanding(EFSB)or an ERBL *** patients were followed-up for 1. ***-based severity and post-procedural pain were assessed using a hemorrhoid severity score(HSS)and a visual analog scale(VAS).Continuous variables were reported as medians and interquartile *** One hundred and ninety-five patients were enrolled,with 98 in the EFSB *** was lower in the EFSB group than in the ERBL group at 8 weeks[4.0(3.0-5.0)vs 5.0(4.0-6.0),P=0.003]and 1.-month[2.0(1.0-3.0)vs 3.0(2.0-3.0),P1.of *** prolapse recurrence rate was lower in the EFSB group at 1. months(1..2%vs 21.6%,P=0.038).Multiple linear regression analysis demonstrated that EFSB treatment[B=-0.91.,95%confidence interval(CI):−1.301.to−0.530,P=0.001.and rubber band number(B=0.843,95%CI:0.595-1.092,P1.were negatively and independently associated with the VAS score 24 hours *** median VAS was lower in the EFSB group than in the ERBL[2.0(1.0-3.0)vs 3.0(2.0-4.0),P1..CONCLUSION Cap-assisted EFSB provided long-term satisfaction and effective relief from the recurrence of prolapse and pain 24 hours post-procedure.
