Early changes in corneal densitometry after FS-LASIK combined with accelerated corneal cross-linking for correction of high myopia

AIM:To observe the effects of femtosecond laserassisted excimer laser in situ keratomileusis combined with accelerated corneal cross-linking(FS-LASIK Xtra)on corneal densitometry after correcting for high ***:In this prospectively study,1.0 patients underwent FS-LASIK or FS-LASIK Xtra for high *** right eyes were selected for inclusion in the study,of which 65 cases of 65 eyes in the FS-LASIK group,65 patients with 65 eyes in the FS-LASIK Xtra *** were evaluated for corneal densitometry at 1.3,and 6mo postoperatively using Pentacam Scheimpflug ***:Preoperative differences in corneal densitometry between the FS-LASIK and FS-LASIK Xtra groups in different ranges were not statistically significant(P>0.05).Layer-by-layer analysis revealed statistically significant differences in the anterior(1.0μm),central,and total layer corneal densitometry between the FS-LASIK and FS-LASIK Xtra groups at 1.and 3mo postoperatively(all P1.o postoperatively in the ranges of 0–2,2–6,and 6–1. mm(both P0.05).CONCLUSION:There is an increase in internal corneal densitometry during the early postoperative period after FS-LASIK Xtra for correction of high ***,the densitometry values decreased to the level of conventional FS-LASIK at 6mo after surgery,with the most significant changes observed in the superficial central zone.

Objective This study aimed to examine the role of long non-coding RNA PCED1. antisense RNA 1.PCED1.-AS1.in the development of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Methods A total of 62 pairs of HCC tissues and adjacent non-tumor tissues were obtained from 62 HCC *** interactions of PCED1.-AS1.and microRNA-34a(miR-34a)were detected by dual luciferase activity assay and RNA pull-down *** RNA expression levels of PCED1.-AS1.miR-34a and CD44 were detected by RT-qPCR,and the protein expression level of CD44 was determined by Western *** cell proliferation was detected by cell proliferation assay,and the cell invasion and migration by transwell invasion *** HCC tumor growth after PCED1.-AS1.was downregulated was determined by in vivo animal *** PCED1.-AS1.was highly expressed in HCC tissues,which was associated with poor survival of HCC ***,PCED1.-AS1.interacted with miR-34a in HCC cells,but they did not regulate the expression of each ***,PCED1.-AS1.increased the expression level of CD44,which was targeted by *** cell proliferation and invasion assay revealed that miR-34a inhibited the proliferation and invasion of HCC in vitro,while CD44 exhibited the opposite ***,PCED1.-AS1.suppressed the role of ***,the knockdown of PCED1.-AS1.repressed the HCC tumor growth in nude mice in *** PCED1.-AS1.may play an oncogenic role by regulating the miR-34a/CD44 axis in HCC.

Advances in laser spectroscopy have enabled many scientific breakthroughs in physics,chemistry,biology,and *** frequency combs pushed measurement limits with ultrahigh-frequency accuracy and fast-measurement speed,while tunable-diode-laser spectroscopy is used in scenarios that require high power and continuous spectral *** these advantages of tunable-diode-laser spectroscopy,it is challenging to precisely determine the instantaneous laser frequency because of fluctuations in the scan ***,we demonstrate a simple spectroscopy scheme with a frequencymodulated diode laser that references the laser on-the-fly to a fiber *** fiber cavity's free spectral range is on-the-fly calibrated with sub-1.-Hz frequency *** achieve a relative precision of the laser frequency of 2×1.^(-8)for an 1.-THz frequency range at a measurement speed of 1.THz∕*** is an improvement of more than 2 orders of magnitude compared to existing diode-laser-spectroscopy *** scheme provides precise frequency calibration markers,while simultaneously tracking the instantaneous scan speed of the *** demonstrate the versatility of our method through various applications,including dispersion measurement of a fiber,ultrahigh-Q microresonators,and spectroscopy of a hydrogen fluoride gas *** simplicity,robustness,and low cost of this spectroscopy scheme are valuable for out-of-the-lab applications like lidar and environmental monitoring.

Creating a multi-gene alignment matrix for phylogenetic analysis using organelle genomes involves aligning single-gene datasets manually,a process that can be time-consuming and prone to *** HomBlocks pipeline has been created to eliminate the inaccuracies arising from manual *** processing of a large number of sequences,however,remains a time-consuming *** conquer this challenge,we develop a speedy and efficient method called Organelle Genomes for Phylogenetic Analysis(ORPA).ORPA can quickly generate multiple sequence alignments for whole-genome comparisons by parsing the result files of NCbi BLAST,completing the task just in 1.*** increasing data volume,the efficiency of ORPA is even more pronounced,over 300 times faster than HomBlocks in aligning 60 high-plant chloroplast *** phylogenetic tree outputs from ORPA are equivalent to HomBlocks,indicating its outstanding *** to its speed and accuracy,ORPA can identify species-level evolutionary conflicts,providing valuable insights into evolutionary cognition.

An optimized time-adaptive aerothermal coupling calculation method for aerothermal analysis of disc cavity system

In order to further achieve the balance between the calculation accuracy and efficiency of the transient analysis of the aero-engine disc cavity system,an Optimized Time-adaptive Aerother-mal Coupling calculation(OTAC)method has been *** combines one-dimensional tran-sient calculation of air system,Conventional Sequence Staggered(CSS)method,Time-adaptive Aerothermal Coupling calculation(TAC)method and differential evolution optimization algorithm to obtain an efficient and high-precision aerothermal coupling calculation method of air *** both the heat conduction in the solid domain and the flow in the fluid domain as unsteady states in the OTAC,the interaction of fluid-solid information within a single coupling time step size was implemented based on the CSS ***,the coupling time step size was automatically adjusted with the number of iterations by using the Proportional-Integral-Deri vative(PID)*** show that when compared with the traditional loosely coupling method with a fixed time step size,the computational accuracy and efficiency of the OTAC method are improved by 8.9%and 30%,*** with the tight coupling calculation,the OTAC method can achieve a speedup of 1.to 2 orders of magnitude,while the calculation error is maintained within 6.1..

Risk factors for esophagogastric variceal-related poor outcomes in primary biliary cholangitis:A prospective cohort study

Feedback of Efficient Shock Acceleration on Magnetic-field Structure Inside Young Type Ia Supernova Remnants

Using an effective adiabatic index γ_(eff) to mimic the feedback of efficient shock acceleration,we simulate the temporal evolution of a young type Ia supernova remnant (SNR) with two different background magnetic field(BMF) topologies:a uniform and a turbulent *** density distribution and magnetic-field characteristics of our benchmark SNR are studied with two-dimensional cylindrical magnetohydrodynamic *** γ_(eff)is considered,we find that:(1. the two-shock structure shrinks and the downstream magnetic-field orientation is dominated by the Rayleigh–Taylor instability structures;(2) there exists more quasi-radial magnetic fields inside the shocked region;and (3) inside the intershock region,both the quasi-radial magnetic energy density and the total magnetic energy density are enhanced:in the radial direction,with γ_(eff)=1.1.they are amplified about 1.–26 times more than those with γ_(eff)=5/*** in the angular direction,the total magnetic energy densities could be amplified about 350 times more than those with γ_(eff)=5/3,and there are more grid cells within the intershock region where the magnetic energy density is amplified by a factor greater than 1.0.
