Slip distribution inversion of seismic sub-fault dip iteration using gradient based optimizer algorithm

This paper considers setting different dips for different sub-faults to fit the actual rupture situation based on the fault rupture of the 201. Lushan M_(S)7.0 ***,combined with the coseismic GNSS data of the Lushan earthquake,the source parameters and sliding distribution of the Lushan earthquake fault are ***,we use the gradient based optimizer(GBO)in nonlinear inversion to obtain the source parameters of this seismic *** inversion results indicate that the strike of the fault is 206.52°,the dip is 44.1.°,the length is 21.92 km,and the depth is 1..79 *** refine the sliding distribution of the seismic fault,the seismic fault is divided into 3×3 ***,we fix the central sub-fault dip of 44.1.°;the dip of other sub-faults is obtained by *** that,the model is further divided into a fault layer model composed of 23×1. sub fault slices,and using the Matlab fitting function is used to fit the dip of the 23×1. sub ***,the Lushan seismic fault plane is established as a shovel structure with steep upper and gentle lower,steep south and gentle *** slip distribution inversion results indicate that the depth of the slip peak is 1. km,the corresponding maximum slip momentum is 0.67 m,the seismic moment is 1.1.×1.^(1.)N·m and the corresponding moment magnitude is *** results above are consistent with the research results of seismology.

How the enhanced East Asian summer monsoon regulates total gross primary production in eastern China

Recognizing the relationship between gross primary production(GPP)and precipitation in eastern China,the East Asian Summer Monsoon(EASM)plays a crucial role in shaping *** confirmation of the strong link between EASM and GPP,there remains a notable research gap in understanding the specific impact of the EASM on GPP in different regions of eastern *** we used simulations from Trends in Net Land-Atmosphere Carbon Exchanges(TRENDY)models from 1.51.to 201. and divided eastern China into five subregions for the *** also used the New East Asian Summer Monsoon Index(NEWI)as a quantitative metric to distinguish between periods of strong and weak *** on this,this study aims to investigate the response of GPP in different subregions of eastern ***,under strengthened EASM years(1.54,1.57,1.65,1.69,1.77,1.80,1.83,1.87,1.93 and 1.98),East China experienced the most pronounced increase in GPP at 1.±21.mean±1.sigma)gC m^(-2) mon^(-1. compared to the weak EASM years(1.58,1.61.1.72,1.73,1.78,1.81.1.85,1.94,1.97 and 2004).In contrast,Southwest China showed a decline in GPP at-4±1. gC m^(-2) mon^(-1..Moreover,GPP also increased in Northeast and North China when EASM strengthened,while South China showed a decline in *** indicated that GPP changed with monsoon *** to the mechanism analysis,during strong EASM,there was intense moisture convergence through alterations in the atmospheric circulation field over East China and abundant precipitation,which further contributed to the increase in *** solar radiation in Southwest China decreased with EASM enhancement,which suppressed GPP and hindered vegetation ***,the results highlight the importance of accurately predicting the impact of different EASM intensities of regional carbon fluxes.

Communication Resource-Efficient Vehicle Platooning Control With Various Spacing Policies

Platooning represents one of the key features that connected automated vehicles may possess as it allows multiple automated vehicles to be maneuvered cooperatively with small headways on roads. However, a critical challenge in accomplishing automated vehicle platoons is to deal with the effects of intermittent and sporadic vehicle-to-vehicle data transmissions caused by limited wireless communication resources. This paper addresses the co-design problem of dynamic event-triggered communication scheduling and cooperative adaptive cruise control for a convoy of automated vehicles with diverse spacing policies. The central aim is to achieve automated vehicle platooning under various gap references with desired platoon stability and spacing performance requirements, while simultaneously improving communication efficiency. Toward this aim, a dynamic event-triggered scheduling mechanism is developed such that the intervehicle data transmissions are scheduled dynamically and efficiently over time. Then, a tractable co-design criterion on the existence of both the admissible event-driven cooperative adaptive cruise control law and the desired scheduling mechanism is derived. Finally, comparative simulation results are presented to substantiate the effectiveness and merits of the obtained results.

Atomically Substitutional Engineering of Transition Metal Dichalcogenide Layers for Enhancing Tailored Properties and Superior Applications

Transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDs)are a promising class of layered materials in the post-graphene era,with extensive research attention due to their diverse alternative elements and fascinating semiconductor *** MX2 layers with different metal and/or chalcogen elements have similar structural parameters but varied optoelectronic properties,providing opportunities for atomically substitutional engineering via partial alteration of metal or/and chalcogenide atoms to produce ternary or quaternary *** resulting multinary TMD layers still maintain structural integrity and homogeneity while achieving tunable(opto)electronic properties across a full range of composition with arbitrary ratios of introduced metal or chalcogen to original counterparts(0–1.0%).Atomic substitution in TMD layers offers new adjustable degrees of freedom for tailoring crystal phase,band alignment/structure,carrier density,and surface reactive activity,enabling novel and promising *** review comprehensively elaborates on atomically substitutional engineering in TMD layers,including theoretical foundations,synthetic strategies,tailored properties,and superior *** emerging type of ternary TMDs,Janus TMDs,is presented specifically to highlight their typical compounds,fabrication methods,and potential ***,opportunities and challenges for further development of multinary TMDs are envisioned to expedite the evolution of this pivotal field.

Effective Activation of Melamine for Synchronous Synthesis of Catalytically Active Nanosheets and Fluorescence-Responsive Quantum Dots

Because of the low reactivity of cyclic nitrides,liquid-phase synthesis of carbon nitride introduces challenges despite its favorable potential for energy-efficient preparation and superior *** this study,we demonstrate a strong interaction between citric acid and melamine through experimental observation and theoretical simulation,which eff ectively activates melamine-condensation activity and produces carbon-rich carbon nitride nanosheets(CCN NSs)during hydrothermal *** a large specific surface area and increased light absorption,these CCN NSs demonstrate significantly enhanced photocatalytic activity in CO_(2) reduction,increasing the CO production rate by approximately tenfold compared with hexagonal melamine(h-Me).Moreover,the product selectivity of CCN NSs reaches up to 93.5%to generate CO from CO_(2).Furthermore,the annealed CCN NSs exhibit a CO conversion rate of up to 95.30μmol/(g h),which indicates an 1.-fold increase compared with traditional carbon *** the CCN NS synthesis,nitrogen-doped carbon quantum dots(NDC QDs)are simultaneously produced and remain suspended in the supernatant after *** QDs disperse well in water and exhibit excellent luminescent properties(QY=67.2%),allowing their application in the design of selective and sensitive sensors to detect pollutants such as pesticide 2,4-dichlorophenol with a detection limit of as low as 0.04μmol/***,the simultaneous synthesis of CCN NSs and NDC QDs provides a cost-eff ective and highly efficient process,yielding products with superior capabilities for catalytic conversion of CO_(2) and pollutant detection,respectively.

We detail the generation of a pulsed atomic oxygen(AO)broad beam with a high flux-density via collision-induced dissociation of O_(2) to support practical industrial exploitation of AOs,particularly for facilitating 2-dimenstional oxidation/etching at a fast rate of one-monolayer per second in an area≥1.00 cm².This innovation fuses the following interdisciplinary concepts:(a)a high density of O^(*) can be produced in an electron-cyclotron-resonance(ECR)O2 plasma;(b)o^(*) can be extracted and accelerated with an aperture-electrode in the plasma.

Given Nepal's vulnerability to extreme precipitation(EP),it is imperative to conduct a comprehensive analysis to comprehend the historical trends of such ***,acquiring precise precipitation data for EP remains challenging in mountainous countries like Nepal owing to the scarcity of densely gauged *** limitation impedes the dissemination of knowledge pertaining to EP variability events in *** current research on this topic is deficient for two main reasons:1.there is a lack of studies leveraging recently released high-resolution precipitation products to identify their EP detection capabilities,which further hinders the usability of those products in data-scarce regions like Nepal,and 2)most studies have focused on the characterisation of EP events in Nepal rather than their spatial and temporal *** address these issues,this study evaluated the EP detection capabilities of four high-resolution precipitation product datasets(PPDs)across Nepal from 1.85 to *** datasets include the ERA5 Land reanalysis data,satellite-based precipitation data(PERSIANN_CCS_CDR and CHIRPS_V2.0)and a merged dataset(TPHiPr).We used various statistical and categorical indices to assess their ability to capture the spatial and temporal variability of EP *** annual EP events were characterised by 1. indices divided into frequency and intensity *** TPHiPr merged dataset offered a robust depiction of monthly precipitation estimates,achieving the highest critical success index,accuracy,probability of detection and a low false alarm ratio for daily precipitation detection of 0.1.mm in ***,the PERSIANN_CCS_CDR dataset exhibited poor *** PPDs showed increasing trends in EP ***,the TPHiPr dataset showcased those trends with fewer errors and stronger correlations for many frequency(R1.mm,R20mm and R25mm)and intensity(RX1.ay,RX5day,PRCPTOT and R99p)*** results indicate that TPHiPr outperformed ot
