Interplay between geometric and electronic structures of Pt entities over TiO_(2) for CO oxidation

Monodispersed Pt colloids with a mean size of 2 nm were deposited uniformly on the {110} facets of a rod-shaped rutile TiO_(2),forming a well-defined Pt/TiO_(2) *** treatment of this precursor at elevated temperatures re-dispersed the Pt particles into clusters and ***-calcination at 673 K partially oxidized the Pt particle surface,while calcination at 773 K yielded Pt Oxclusters of 1.6 nm in 7–8 atomic *** calcination at 873 K formed a mixture of raft-like PtO_(x) clusters(1.6 nm,1–2 atomic layers) and cationic *** tested for CO oxidation at 373 K,the Pt particles showed a higher activity than the Pt Oxclusters,whereas the cationic single-atoms were much less *** H_(2)-reduction at 473 K converted the partially oxidized Pt particles into the metallic species,but they were encapsulated by TiO_(2)–xoverlayers because of the strong metal–support interactions,which decreased the activity dramatically.H_(2)-reduction of the PtO_(x) clusters at473 K enhanced the fraction of metallic Pt species without changing the size and geometry,and promoted the activity substantially.H_(2)-treatment of Pt single-atoms at 473 K increased the activity only moderately because most Pt species still kept at cationic *** results straightforwardly differentiated the catalytic behavior of Pt particles,clusters and single-atoms at the same metal loading and over the same TiO_(2) support,and further demonstrated that the electronic structures of Pt entities played a decisive role in the catalytic oxidation,in addition to the specified sizes.

In recent years, sub-synchronous oscillation accidents caused by wind power integration have received extensive attention. The recorded constant-amplitude waveforms can be induced by either linear or nonlinear oscillation mechanisms. Hence, the nonlinear behavior needs to be distinguished prior to choosing the analysis method. Since the 1.60s, the higher-order statistics(HOS) theory has become a powerful tool for the detection of nonlinear behavior(DNB) in production quality control wherein it has mainly been applied to mechanical condition monitoring and fault diagnosis. This study focuses on the hard limiters of the voltage source converter(VSC) control systems in the wind farms and attempts to detect the nonlinear behavior caused by bi-or uni-lateral saturation hard limiting using the HOS analysis. First, the conventional describing function is extended to obtain the detailed frequency domain information on the bi-and uni-lateral saturation hard limiting. Furthermore, the bi-and tri-spectra are introduced as the HOS, which are extended into bi-and tri-coherence spectra to eliminate the effects of the linear parts on the harmonic characteristics of hard limiting in the VSC control system, respectively. The effectiveness of the HOS in the DNB and the classification of the hard-limiting types is proven, and its detailed derivation and estimation procedure is presented. Finally, the quadratic and cubic phase coupling in the signals is illustrated, and the performance of the proposed method is evaluated and discussed.

The use of next-generation probiotics （NGP） in pigs for combating diseases has been subject to limited *** we explored the potential of a well-known NGP candidate Akkermansia muciniphila targeting pig gut *** the first screening experiment,we found that the abundance of *** peaked at 1. d old but decreased at weaning （21.d old;P1.to 28 d old,the CON group received gastric infusion of anaerobic sterile saline every other day;the HA and LA groups were gavaged every other day with 1.1.1.CFU/5 m L and 5×1.～8CFU/5 mL live ***,respectively;and the HIA and LIA groups were gavaged every other day with 1.1.1.CFU/5 mL and 5×1.～8CFU/5 mL heat-killed ***,*** d 29,pigs in the CON group were randomly and equally divided into two groups,one of which was named the enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli （ETEC） group,and all groups except CON received a 5-d ETEC *** supplementation of *** numerically reduced the diarrhea rate of weaned pigs compared to the pigs that only received the ETEC challenge （P=0.57）,but the LIA group had a higher diarrhea rate than the CON group （P<0.05）.Consistent with this,the supplementation of *** improved the small intestinal morphology and structure,proportion of CD4+T lymphocytes in the blood,as well as the expression of genes related to intestinal barrier and antioxidant indices of pigs with ETEC challenge,especially for the LA group （P<0.05）.Meanwhile,*** supplementation reduced the expression of ETEC virulence factor genes in the ileum and colon of pigs challenged by ETEC （P<0.05）.Therefore,*** may protect the intestinal health of weaned piglets from damage caused by

Exploring wide voltage window materials is not only an available measure to enhance the energy density of hybrid supercapacitor(HSCs),but also avoids the dynamic mismatch caused by different energy storage mechanisms of two electrodes in assembled symmetrical ***,there are few reports about the wide potential window materials except Bi_(2)O_(3)and VO_(2).Therefore,the MnF_(2)synthesized by solvothermal reaction was served as the electrode for *** MnF_(2)exhibited electrochemical activity in alkaline solution in three-electrode system,especially with a wide potential window from-0.8 to+0.5 V in 2 mol·L^(-1.***,the assembled MnF_(2)//MnF_(2)symmetrical HSC had a potential window of 1.5 V,and it exhibited outstanding long-cycle ***,when MnF_(2)was taken as the negative and positive respectively,the potential windows of asymmetric devices CoMoO_(4)//MnF_(2)and MnF_(2)//Activated Carbon(AC)could reach 1.3 and 1.45 V,respectively,showing excellent cycle *** work shows that MnF_(2)material has great research value in HSC,and provides a new research direction for developing high-performance devices.

Impacts of multi-scenario land use change on ecosystem services and ecological security pattern: A case study of the Yellow River Delta

The Yellow River Delta(YRD), a critical economic zone along China's eastern coast, also functions as a vital ecological reserve in the lower Yellow River. Amidst rapid industrialization and urbanization, the region has witnessed significant land use/cover changes(LUCC), impacting ecosystem services(ES) and ecological security patterns(ESP). Investigating LUCC's effects on ES and ESP in the YRD is crucial for ecological security and sustainable development. This study utilized the PLUS model to simulate 2030 land use scenarios, including natural development(NDS), economic development(EDS), and ecological protection scenarios(EPS). Subsequently, the InVEST model and circuit theory were applied to assess ES and ESP under varying LUCC scenarios from 201. to 2030. Findings indicate:(1. Notable LUCC from 201. to 2030, marked by decreasing cropland and increasing construction land and water bodies.(2) From 201. to 2020, improvements were observed in carbon storage,water yield, soil retention, and habitat quality, whereas 2020–2030 saw increases in water yield and soil retention but declines in habitat quality and carbon storage. Among the scenarios, EPS showed superior performance in all four ES.(3) Between 201. and 2030, ecological sources, corridors, and pinchpoints expanded, displaying significant spatial heterogeneity. The EPS scenario yielded the most substantial increases in ecological sources,corridors, and pinchpoints, totaling 582.89 km^(2), 645.03 km^(2),and 64.43 km^(2), respectively. This study highlights the importance of EPS, offering insightful scientific guidance for the YRD's sustainable development.

Despite standard treatment for non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)being surgical resection,cancer recurrence and complications,such as induction of malignant pleural effusion(MPE)and significant postoperative pain,usually result in treatment *** this study,an alginate-based hybrid hydrogel(SOG)is developed that can be injected into the resection surface of the lungs during ***,endoplasmic reticulum-modified liposomes(MSLs)pre-loaded with the signal transducer and activator of transcription 3(STAT3)small interfering RNA and lidocaine hydrochloride are encapsulated in *** applied,MSLs strongly downregulated STAT3 expression in the tumor microenvironment,resulting in the apoptosis of lung cancer cells and polarization of tumor-associated macrophages towards the M1.like ***,the release of lidocaine hydrochloride(LID)was beneficial for pain relief and natural killer cell *** data demonstrated MSL@LID@SOG not only efficiently inhibited tumor growth but also potently improved the quality of life,including reduced MPE volume and pain relief in orthotopic NSCLC mouse models,even with a single ***@LID@SOG shows potential for comprehensive clinical management upon tumor resection in NSCLC,and may alter the treatment paradigms for other cancers.

The Completeness of Accreting Neutron Star Binary Candidates from the Chinese Space Station Telescope

A neutron star(NS)has many extreme physical conditions,and one may obtain some important information about an NS via accreting neutron star binary(ANSB)*** upcoming Chinese Space Station Telescope(CSST)provides an opportunity to search for a large sample of ANSB *** goal is to check the completeness of the potential ANSB samples from CSST *** this paper,we generate some ANSBs and normal binaries under the CSST photometric system by binary evolution and binary population synthesis method and use a machine learning method to train a classification *** the Precision(94.56%)of our machine learning model is as high as before study,the Recall is only about 63.29%.The Precision/Recall is mainly determined by the mass transfer rate between the NSs and their *** addition,we also find that the completeness of ANSB samples from CSST photometric data by the machine learning method also depends on the companion mass and the age of the *** candidates with a low initial mass companion star(0.1.M_(⊙)to 1.M_(⊙))have a relatively high Precision(94.94%)and high Recall(86.32%),whereas ANSB candidates with a higher initial mass companion star(1.1.M_(⊙)to 3 M_(⊙))have similar Precision(93.88%)and quite low Recall(42.67%).Our results indicate that although the machine learning method may obtain a relatively pure sample of ANSBs,a completeness correction is necessary for one to obtain a complete sample.
