Moodle is a web based educational tool which provides students to learn and access site at their own pace. Melbourne Institute of Technology （MIT） is planning to implement Moodle. It will be used by staff and students within MIT campus and outside using internet. This paper explains plan, design and performance analysis of implementation of Moodle on a network. Performance of jitter, delay and server load shows acceptable and efficient.

Turbulence-induced beam wandering during femtosecond laser filamentation

The influence of air turbulence on the transverse wandering of a single femtosecond laser filament is studied by numerical simulation. The results show that the average transverse displacement of the single filament （StI is proportional to the square root of turbulent structure constant and the relations between （St} and the propa- gation distance can be fit by a power function. In addition, by using an axicon as a focusing optics, the wandering of a single filament is suggested to be stronger than the free-propagation case.

Ontology has recently gained popularity in building knowledge base because the description, localization and effective reuse of software patterns and systems of patterns can be approached through an ontology-based formalism. This paper designs ontology in the mobile phone domain for the construction of knowledge base, and presents a new method for knowledge assessment in which quizzing questions are drawn using the mobile phone ontology-based knowledge base to assess the sufficiency of professional knowledge of mobile phone salespersons. An automated learning service is then provided to offer users personalized learning contents subject to their knowledge deficiencies.

Since virtual geographic environments(VGEs)were unofficially proposed for the first time at a conference in 1998,nearly two decades have *** these years,VGE has experienced several stages of evolution(Chen,Lin,and Lu 2017),and its definition has been modified over the course of its evolution(see Lin and Gong 2001;Lin and Zhu 2005;Gong,Zhou,and Zhang 2010;Lu 2011;Lin,Chen,and Lu 2013;Lin et al.2013;Chen et al.2017).Currently,the term VGE can be described as a kind of digital geographic environment generated by computers and related technologies that users can use to experience and recognize complex geographic systems and further conduct comprehensive geographic analyses.

Application-oriented undergraduate academy students need to have high ability to solve practical problems and to have innovation ability. To fulfill this need, their participation in technological innovation activities is critical. The paper attempts to analyze the problems with undergraduates’ participation in science research activities and to propose some solutions such as strengthen the efforts of construct teaching staff, help teachers build their own research platform, and set up students science and technology funds. Those can provide reference for the ways of training application-oriented undergraduates’ abilities in technological innovation.

Pressing demand for innovation in CAI/L systems calls for up-scale methods with governances capable of escalating learning and managing knowledge from learning. Combinatorial effort of CAI/CAL with work-integrated-dissertation-environment,ideas compression techniques and Socrates delivery methods not only produces learning but brings esteem into knowledge retention. The concept of a BOM capacitated CRM facilitates synchronization of learning materials,and continuous benchmarking with work environment. CAI/CAL system for training international project managers serves to initiate innovation in narrowing gap for producing international project manager for mutual benefits between China and countries that host its investments.

Based on organizational learning, the influencing mechanism of relational mechanisms on firms’ innovation performance is explored. The results show that although relational mechanisms and innovation performance are significantly positive correlation, relational learning partially mediates the relationship between relational mechanisms and innovation performance. Absorptive capacity moderates the effect of relationship learning on innovation performance.
