High throughput sequencing reveals endophytic fungal communityin field-grown soybean of Huang-huai-hai region of China

摘 要:Plants depend upon beneficial interactions between roots and endophytic fungal for growth promotion,disease suppression,and stress *** this study,we analyzed the endophytic fungal community harbored in the root of soybean plants grown in field in Huang-huai-hai region,one of the main producing areas of soybeans in *** on ITS amplicon sequencing for soybean samples collected from Shandong,Jiangsu,and Anhui province,we found the majority of endophyte taxa were Ascomycota(87%),followed by Basidiomycota(10%) and Zygomycota(1%).The species composition and abundanceof endophytic fungi were significantly dependent on the geographic locality and the plant developmental *** deep sequencing results were confirmed by traditional methods for isolation of fungi from corresponding *** most frequendy isolatesin genus were Haematonectria(60%),Phoma(10%),Fusarium(8%),Rhizoctonia(6),Clonostachys(6),Macrophomina(3),and Ceratobasidium(2%).Many phytopathogenic species associated with soybean disease were found;however,it remains to be determined whether these endophytes are latent pathogens or non-pathogenic forms that benefit the *** results have revealed the endophytic fungal community in field-grown soybean of Huang-huai-hai region,providing insight for further study of plant-endophyte interaction.
