摘      要:The research of X ray powder diffraction indicates that glasses form at the temperature of about 1025 in the system of 20BaO (10-x)La2O3 ·90B2O3 ·xEu2O3 (BLBE). The study of luminescence spectra reveals that in this system, there have existed two valence ions: Eu2+ and Eu3+. The acute excitation bands peaking at 316,360, 379 , 393, 413,462and532nm ,the red -region emission bands peaking at 592, 616, 650 and 750nm correspond to the f-f excitation transition and the emission transition of 5D0 - 7FJ (J=l,2,3,4,) of Eu3+ ions, respectively. Likewise, the broad excitation bands peaking at 430nm and 532nm correspond to the 5d-4f excitation transition of Eu2+ ions, and the blue emission bands to the emission of Eu2+ ions. The experimental result that the introduction of Gd3+ ion can distinctly improve the emission intensity ratios of the blue-light and red-light of the glass indicates that the main process of energy transfer is Gd3+ →Eu2+→Eu3+ in BLBEG system .
