摘 要:In the case of neutron over-exposure such as criticality accident, it is important to estimate the dose of victims rapidly for the medical treatments. Measurement of the activated sodium in the blood is widely used with many other methods for accidental neutron dosimetry. However, this method should be supplemented by the information of neutron field at the location of accident for the accurate evaluation of neutron doses of the victims. To evaluate the differences of neutron doses estimated by blood activation for various neutron fields, blood samples attached PMMA standard slab phantom was exposed by neutron fields near the reactor. The theoretical and experimental specific activities of activated sodium were compared using the neutron spectrum data at that place. The geometrical differences between the PMMA phantom and the BOMAB were also considered by Monte Carlo calculations. For the judgment of appropriateness to use other typical neutron spectra for accidental cases of no neutron spectrum information existing, neutron spectra from other similar points were also applied to the comparison. The experimental specific activity of sodium showed good agreement of with 8% with that calculated. Also, there were 40% neutron absorbed dose differences in maximum for selected neutron spectra.
