摘 要:An image hybrid coding scheme using wavelet transform(WT)is presented in this paper. The attractive advantages of wavelet representation are utilized to decorrelate the high information redundancy between the adjacent image *** coding of the resulting multiresolution difference signals is very easy to take into account the human visual system(HVS),This paper analyzes the statistical characteristics of difference *** quantization and coding techniques incorporating the human visual characteristics and the probability distribution of difference signals are also *** experimental results demonstrate the better performance of the proposed hybrid coding system compared with the results achieved.
