摘 要:The rate and mechanism for cement hydration is important since it will affect the properties of the final product. The hydration process is known to be highly exothermic, i.e. heat is produced. The heat flow, expressed in W (J·s-1), reflects the rate of the overall hydration process, which can be monitored using TAM Air, an eight-channel heat conduction calorimeter. In this presentation some functional aspects and performance of TAM Air is discussed with special emphasis on cement hydration.
