摘 要：Whether budget devoted to law enforcement effectively prevents crime has been at the centre of debates for a long time,but primarily in *** this paper,I seek to inspect the relationship between judicial inputs and crime reduction based on China provincial panel from 1989 to *** judicial authority turns out to be ineffective in performing its duty when instrumental variable method *** the research reveals little evidence that ideological indoctrination relevant inputs have significant influence on China’s crime ***, some other socioeconomic factors such as social welfare expenditures,education level and urbanization,play significant roles in this *** findings suggest transitional governments should rethink the financing given to judicial system and shift their attention to some more cost-effective means.
