摘 要:The performance of a water-cooled pulse detonation turbine engine(PDTE)was experimentally studied.A single-tube pulse detonation combustor(PDC)was operated at 60 Hz for 10 minutes using hydrogen and *** automotive turbocharger was driven by the PDC,and its compressor work was measured as the ***,we experimentally evaluated the isentropic efficiency of the turbocharger and the energy balance of the PDTE *** the turbine-drive performance,the isentropic efficiency of the turbocharger was about 0.6,which was almost in agreement with the theoretical value based on a preliminary measurement of the isentropic efficiency by using steady air *** the thermal efficiency,it depended strongly upon the degree of heat *** a result,it was about 9% when only the detonation tube was *** value was reasonable taking into account the theoretical thermal efficiency,the isentropic efficiency of the turbocharger,and the heat loss.
