摘      要:Recently single-molecule magnet(SMM) and single-chain magnet(SCM) have been received great attention for their unique magnetic properties,such as slow relaxation and large hysteresis,providing the opportunity of potential application in information storage and quantum computation at molecular *** principle,SMM could be linked as building block by covalent bonds to control the dimension of the structure and magnitude of the inter-SMM magnetic interaction *** to now,a few SCMs have been created from trinuclear or tetranuclear SMM building blocks,and they have improved blocking temperature(T)and barrier than those of *** this work,a trinuclear compound [MnO(tBu-sao)Cl(CHOH)]·HO was used as a building unit,which displays a slow relaxation behavior below *** the Cl ion with formate or azide ion leads to the string of these [Mn]units along the easy axis of the magnetization,corresponding to the chain *** linked [Mn]units through formate or azide show SCM behavior with T and bigger barrier than [Mn]unit itself because of the enhancement of the uniaxial anisotropy.
