摘 要:Abstracts,as an important part of academic papers,have been widely *** this study,10 English abstracts selected from the journal articles of medicine are analyzed from the perspective of five-move pattern and thematic progression *** findings reveal that first,Move 1,Move 3 and Move 4 involving research method and result occupy a large part of the ***,compared with the other three moves,thematic progression pattern is applied more frequently in Move 3 and ***,constant thematic pattern and linear pattern are applied frequently than constant rheme pattern and cross *** findings of this study are helpful to improve the writing criteria of English abstracts of papers in international psychological journals.
