摘      要:For express analysis of mechanism and kinetics of heterogeneous processes involving the interaction of two or more solid reagents, the method of separated reagents has been developed. Based on this method a process of magnesite (magnesium oxide) chlorination has been analyzed. It was found that the chlorination processes can be conducted with various rates in several stages and maximum rate of the chlorination process can be attained at the initial stage of the solid reductant gasification in the reactor and subsequent using of carbon oxide as oxygen acceptor. The resulting information on the mechanism and kinetics of the chlorination process enabled the upgrading of the process, its intensification and improvement of reactor productivity by 3 times.
