摘      要:Five pharmaceuticals were detected in wastewater treatment plants in southern China. Biological treatment was the most effective process for PhACs removal. Metoprolol showed negative removal during secondary treatment process. The pharmaceuticals studied posed a low environmental risk to aquatic ecosystems.
