摘      要：Spontaneous regression of hepatocellular carci- noma (HCC) is rare. We found spontaneousregression of HCC in a 53-year-old Chinese withliver cirrhosis. A liver mass 3cm in diameter wasrevealed by B-ultrasonography. The resected massshowed histologically complete necrosis. The nec-rotic tissue was filled with large debris from a neo-plastic tissue, regardless of no viable tumor cellswere seen among them. The postoperative coursewas uneventful, and the patient is alive and wellfor 4 years after surgery.
