摘      要：In 1978, a particular metamorphic rock—quartz-almandine eulitite, has been identified by the authors for the first time in the region of the Louzi (娄子) Mountain, Qianan (迁安), eastern Hebei Province. The rock has long been mistaken for eclogite. However, it differs from both eclogite (seneu straito)and eulysite, and garnet pyroxenite. The last one is often found to be associated with ultramafic rocks.
