摘 要:We report on a systematic investigation of the influences of gas pressure,focal position and focusing geometry on high harmonic generation by use of mid-infrared femtosecond laser pulses. We also discuss the spatial characteristics of harmonics under different focusing conditions. By optimizing the parameters,we experimentally observed the generation of 1 kHz,low divergence coherent X-ray beams in the water-window region.
