摘 要：This paper will firstly introduce the categories and main characteristics of English lexical *** a discussion over the function of English lexical phrases will be carried out from the angle of second language *** author holds the view that lexical phrases play an important role in second language acquisition,which can be summarized as follows:firstly,the acceleration of language fluency;secondly,the improvement of lexical selection ability;thirdly,the enhancement of pragmatic awareness.
