Medium-entropy oxides(MEOs)with broad compositional tunability and entropy-driven structural stability,are receiving booming attention as a promising candidate for oxygen evolution reaction(OER)***,ultrathin two-dimensional(2D)nanostructure offers extremely large specific surface area and is therefore considered to be an ideal catalyst ***,it remains a grant challenge to synthesize ultrathin 2D MEOs due to distinct nucleation and growth kinetics of constituent multimetallic elements in 2D anisotropic *** this work,an ultrathin 2D MEO(MnFeCoNi)O was successfully synthesized by a facile and low-temperature ionic layer epitaxy *** from multi-metal synergistic effects within ultrathin 2D nanostructure,this 2D MEO(MnFeCoNi)O revealed excellent OER electrocatalytic performance with a quite low overpotential of 117 mV at 10 mA·cm^(-2) and an impressive stability for 120 h continuous operation with only 6.9%***,the extremely high mass activity(5584.3 A·g^(-1))was three orders of magnitude higher than benchmark RuO_(2)(3.4 A·g^(-1))at the same overpotential of 117 *** work opens up a new avenue for developing highly efficient and stable electrocatalysts by creating 2D nanostructured MEOs.

Effects of ignition voltage and electrode structure on electric ignition and combustion characteristics of Ammonium Dinitramide(ADN)-based liquid propellants in electric ignition mode in inert gas environment

Hydrazine is toxic and carcinogenic, which greatly increases the difficulty of application and no longer meets the needs of green aerospace. As a green propellant, the Ammonium Dinitramide(ADN)-based liquid propellant has the advantages of higher specific impulse, being non-toxic,pollution-free, and easy storage. However, an ADN-based space engine in orbit has exposed the problems of high-temperature deactivation of catalysts and cold-start failure. An active ignition technology—electric ignition technology was explored in this paper to break through the technical bottleneck of catalyst deactivation and the inability to a cold start. An experimental system of a constant-volume combustor for the ADN-based liquid propellant based on the electric ignition method was established. The electric ignition and combustion characteristics of the ADN-based liquid propellant in a volume combustor with an electric ignition method were studied. The influencing mechanisms of the ignition voltage and the electrode structure on the electric ignition characteristics of the ADN-based liquid propellant were investigated. An elevation of the ignition voltage could facilitate the ignition process of the ADN-based liquid propellant, curtail electric energy input and heating effect, while exerting an adverse impact on the combustion process of the *** increase in the ignition voltage enhanced the ignition process of the propellant while simultaneously suppressing its combustion process when utilizing mesh electrodes. Compared to the strip electrodes, the mesh electrodes increased the contact area between the electrodes and the propellant,increased the electric energy input power in the electric ignition process, and reduced the ignition delay time. The mesh electrodes could promote the combustion process of the propellant to a certain extent.

Multimode Design and Analysis of an Integrated Leg-Arm Quadruped Robot with Deployable Characteristics

To improve locomotion and operation integration, this paper presents an integrated leg-arm quadruped robot(ILQR) that has a reconfigurable joint. First, the reconfigurable joint is designed and assembled at the end of the legarm chain. When the robot performs a task, reconfigurable configuration and mode switching can be achieved using this joint. In contrast from traditional quadruped robots, this robot can stack in a designated area to optimize the occupied volume in a nonworking state. Kinematics modeling and dynamics modeling are established to evaluate the mechanical properties for multiple modes. All working modes of the robot are classified, which can be defined as deployable mode, locomotion mode and operation mode. Based on the stability margin and mechanical modeling, switching analysis and evaluation between each mode is carried out. Finally, the prototype experimental results verify the function realization and switching stability of multimode and provide a design method to integrate and perform multimode for quadruped robots with deployable characteristics.

A multispectral imaging system often cannot capture 3D spatial information owing to hardware limitations, which diminishes the effectiveness across various domains. To address this problem, we have developed a multispectral stereo imaging system along with an adaptive 3D reconstruction algorithm. Unlike existing unmanned aerial vehicle stereo imaging systems, our multispectral stereo imaging system uses two multispectral cameras with asymmetric spectral bands positioned at different angles. This design enables the acquisition of a higher number of bands and lateral spatial information while maintaining a lightweight structure. This system introduces challenges such as large geometric distortions and intensity differences between multiple bands. To accurately recover 3D spatial information, we propose an adaptive 3D reconstruction method. This method employs a position and orientation system-assisted projection transformation and a normalized threshold adjustment strategy. Finally, mutual information is used to reconstruct the multispectral images densely, effectively addressing nonlinear differences and generating a comprehensive multispectral point cloud. Our stereo system was used for two real data collections in different regions, and the efficacy of the proposed 3D reconstruction method was validated by comparing it with existing methods and commercial software.

Due to the limited bandwidth and transmission congestion of the vehicle platoon's communication, it is inevitable to induce time delay, which significantly degrades the control performance of the vehicle platoon, even resulting in instability. This paper focuses on analyzing the internal stability under generic communication topologies and presents a method of computing the exact time delay margin(ETDM). The proposed method can offer a necessary and sufficient internal stability condition with no conservatism. Firstly, to reduce the analytical complexity and computational burden elegantly, we decompose the closed-loop platoon dynamics into a set of individual subsystems via similarity transformation and matrix factorization. This decomposition approach is applicable for any general communication topology. Secondly, an explicit formula is deduced to compute the ETDM by surveying the characteristic roots' distribution of all these individual *** is further demonstrated that only the positive purely imaginary roots need to be considered to compute the ETDM. Finally, simulations are conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of the theoretical claims.

This paper presents a 66–76-GHz sparsely-excited phased array antenna with the array of array(Ao A) architecture for eliminating the blindness and suppressing the grating lobe when scanning. For the array antennas printed on the thick dielectric layers with high relative permittivity, scanning blindness appears and seriously impacts the radiation performance. To address this issue, the Ao A topology is developed first. It finds that the scanning blindness appears due to the coupling of the radiating Floquet modes to the non-radiating surface wave(SW) modes. Therefore, the array is divided into two types of domino *** inner-phase distributions are introduced into the domino subarrays to break the one-to-one relationship between the Floquet mode and the SW mode. Then, the blindness inside ±60° scanning volume is eliminated by the aperiodic subarrays. Meanwhile, the aperiodic inner-phase distributions enhance the aperiodicity of the array and contribute to suppressing the grating lobe when scanning. Next, the meta-surface-based dipole with the shorted post is chosen as the unit cell for the proposed aperiodic array. Based on these methods,the array achieves the wide-scanning performance of ±60° in the E-plane and ±30° in the H-plane, without the blindness and the grating lobe. Finally, the 16×16 array is built and simulated with the dimension of32 mm × 32 mm. At the highest operating frequency, the simulated gains are 28.42, 25.17, and 24.01 d Bi when scanning to the broadside, 50° in the E-plane, and 30° in the H-plane, respectively. Compared to the ideal gain, it shows that the simulated radiation efficiency is about 84.13%, 62.08%, and 35.23% when scanning to the broadside, 50° in the E-plane, and 30° in the H-plane, respectively. In this study, we investigate a continuous-time infinite-horizon linear quadratic stochastic optimal control problem with multiplicative noise in control and state variables. Using the techniques of stochastic stability, exact observability, and stochastic approximation, a value iteration algorithm is developed to solve the corresponding generalized algebraic Riccati equation. Unlike the existing policy iteration algorithm, this algorithm does not rely on an initial stabilizing control. Further, this algorithm can also be used to compute policy evaluation steps that arise in the policy iteration algorithm. Herein, a simulation example is provided to validate the obtained results.

Global adaptive output-feedback tracking with prescribed performance for uncertain nonlinear systems

At present, one typical control strategy for guaranteeing transient and steady-state performance is funnel control and prescribed performance control. The strategy features completely discarding the system nonlinearities, even if they are completely known and available. Such an intrinsic feature requires the controller to produce a larger control effect to eliminate the negative impact caused by the high nonlinearities, leading to a conservative controller. In this paper, we fully take advantage of known information on nonlinearities in control design, instead of completely discarding it as done in funnel control. Particularly, we leverage adaptive techniques(i.e., high-gain dynamic compensation) to deal with unknown system nonlinearities. Meanwhile, we integrate the tools of output feedback, tracking control, and the performance *** such, an adaptive output-feedback scheme is developed for global tracking with spatiotemporal performance specifications: arbitrarily given tracking accuracy and accuracy-ensured time. A simulation example supports the developed approach.

Event-triggered predefined-time control for full-state constrained nonlinear systems: A novel command filtering error compensation method

In this paper, a command filter-based adaptive fuzzy predefined-time event-triggered tracking control problem is investigated for uncertain nonlinear systems with time-varying full-state constraints. By designing a sliding mode differentiator, the inherent computational complexity problem within the predefined-time backstepping framework is solved. Different from the existing command filter-based finite-time and fixed-time control strategies that the convergence time of the filtering error is adjusted through the system initial value or numerous parameters, a novel command filtering error compensation method is presented,which tunes one control parameter to make the filtering error converge in the predefined time, thereby reducing the complexity of design and analysis of processing the filtering error. Then, an improved event-triggered mechanism(ETM) that builds upon the switching threshold strategy, in which an inverse cotangent function is designed to replace the residual term of the ETM,is proposed to gradually release the controller's dependence on the residual term with increasing time. Furthermore, a tan-type nonlinear mapping technique is applied to tackle the time-varying full-state constraints problem. By the predefined-time stability theory, all signals in the uncertain nonlinear systems exhibit predefined-time stability. Finally, the feasibility of the proposed algorithm is substantiated through two simulation results.
